  I am very thankful you have cared to send me this beautiful picture of Srila Gurudeva,Narayana Maharaja. I will share some very important instruction I recived in 1986 to 1989 from him ,he strongly preached to me to always chant one lakh holy names, he himself would never chant anything less, and sometimes even 192 rounds.I recall in 2001 when he arrived from India he told me, he had chanted more than 128 rounds on the plane from India.Lord Caitanya was very strict about chanting one lakh, as was Srila Prabhupada for many years as a grhastha as he once told Tamal Krsna Maharaja as recorded in TKG's diary

Many years ago (Shrila Prabhupada), he was chanting sixty-four rounds,
then gradually less, until a number of years ago it was sixteen.

.I have tried to also preach this   here in ISKCON  http://nimaipandit.ning.com/profiles/blogs/jiva-jago-jiva-jago-wake-up and even propose is as a GBC resolution.

Once in Alachua in 2000 one devotee asked me many  things about chanting 64 rounds and I told him lets go see Srila Gurudeva, and he preached about this for half an hour and

also mentioned that night in the lecture that devotees should chant 64 rounds.

Actually Srila Narayana Maharaja has helped me advance more in KC than anyone in ISKCON,besides Srila Prabhupada ,he was the greatest influence in my life to aspire for
pure devotional service.I missed Srila Prabhupadas association with less than a year, but Narayana Maharaja gave me much association already as early as 1986.
Some kanistha adhikaris think he was never in ISKCON but he was

So many persons claim they are in ISKCON when they will never be as much in ISKCON as HH Narayana Maharaja was.

Some of my very dear godbrothers have asked me why did I return to ISKCON, including Avadhut Maharaja ,I once had a very powerful dream in 2004 while in Navadvipa with Gurudevas Parikrama where Srila Prabhupada came in my dreams over 5 nights and asked me to help his ISKCON.I thus have tried to teach pure bhakti in ISKCON as I also learned from Srila Gurudeva, the GBC asked me to go by the name Payonidhi das given to me by my previous fallen ISKCON Guru,Harikesa.However in 1999 Srila Gurudeva gave me the name Paramananda das ,and quoted one beautiful sloka from 10 canto :

In Srimad-Bhagavatam (10.14.32) it is said: 

aho bhagyam aho bhagyam
nanda-gopa-vrajaukasam
yan mitram paramanandam
purna-brahma sanatanam

"How greatly fortunate are Nanda Maharaja, the cowherd men, and all the inhabitants of Vrajabhumi! There is no limit to their good fortune because the Absolute Truth, the source of all transcendental bliss, the eternal Supreme Brahman, has become their friend."*

He said you should always meditate on this Paramananda, Krsna the son of Nanda and Yasoda, thus Paramananda das and also you should consider yourself the most fortunate servants of all the servants of Paramananda Puri ,the assocaite of Lord Caitanya.Thus you can go by the name Paramananda das or Paramananda Puri das.And daily I order you to chant one lakh, 64 rounds and never fail.

I got such great mercy of Srila Gurudeva, but was so unfortunate I never saw him again since 2004 and thus I lament very much his entering Radha   Krsnas lilas ,and the lilas of Lord Gauranga and leaving all of us that loved him in seperation.

Srila Gurudeva should be seen as representing Srila Rupa Goswami and all his disciples should kindly follow his lotusfootsteps and also chant minimum one lakh daily.

 In Prema Vilasa Srila Narottama das Thakura has given us some inside to the importance of chant one lakh:

From Prema-vilasa Chapter 17: Shrila Narottama  das Mahasaya (Thakura) on the direct process to achieve love of Krishna:

prabhura achaye sankhya tina laksha nama;
eka laksha bhaktagane kaila kripa dana.

"Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu standard was to chant 3,00,000 names everyday. But He very mercifully awarded His devotees the process of chanting a minimum of 1,00,000 names of Krishna daily.

shri rupa kaila laksha granthera varnana;
tathapiha karila laksha nama grahana.

"Shrila Rupa Goswami has explained and quoted from over 100,000 different scriptures. Even though he was such a great scholar and devotee he himself chanted 100,000 Holy Names daily.

dasa gosvamira ache laksha pramana;
ei mata sarva bhakta kare harinama.

"Shrila Raghunatha dasa Goswami also rigidly followed the instructions of Lord Gauranga by chanting 100,000 names daily. In this way all the devotees chanted the Holy Names of the Lord daily without exception.

gauranga shrimukhe rupe kahila vaishnave;
laksha nama sankhya kari avasya karibe.

"Lord Gauranga gave the following instructions to all the Vaishnavas Himself and also through Shrila Rupa Goswami: Please compulsorily chant 100,000 names of Krishna daily."

So yes if we take this instruction of Srila Gurudeva to heart and that of all our previous acaryas to chant minimum one lahk they will empower devotees to preach pure bhakti

if we also avoid nama aparadha.

Many will take this picture as it was just the reflection of light ,I do not know the nature of this so have no comments.In ISKCON Seattle there was claims that a picture of Krsna was drinking milk some years ago.During the time of Lord Caitanya we also see how one person claimed to have seen Krsna dance on Kaliya at night, but it was really just a fisherman, this was in the very presence of Sriman Mahaprabhu that is Radha Krsna combined.So I would not promote this story..If we however want to take this" light" from 

Srila Gurudevas japa mala on the picture important we should chant on lakh daily without fail.This is the strict instruction of Lord Caitanya to all devotees.

If I have offended any devotee in the past by my strong preaching or lack of vaisnava humility I sincerly apologize,I bless you all place your lotusfeet on my head so I may be abel to carry out this instruction from Srila Gurudeva to chant 64 rounds daily without nama aparadha.

I go by the name Payonidhi das only because I have been ordered so by the GBC, there is some politics against him still, but my real name is Paramananda das.

I am trying to respect all vaisnavas in all camps of vaisnavas and hope you will be kind and merciful to me.I can not please everyone, but I sincerly try to follow the instructions

I have received via Srila Prabhupadas instructions to distribute his books and from Srila Gurudeva to chant one lakh.

Payonidhi is a name of Lord Narasimha, that removes the obstacels on the path of bhakti:

śrīmat payonidhi niketana cakrapāṇe 
bhogīndra bhogamaṇi ranjitapuṇyamūrte 
yogīśa śāśvata śaraṇya bhavābdhipota 
lakṣmīnṛsiḿha mama dehi karāvalamba

O Laksmi Nrsimha, whose abode is the ocean of milk, who hold the (sudarsana) discus in Your hand, whose pleasing form is adorned by the jewels that are the hoods ofAdi Sesa, who are the Lord of the Yogis, the Eternal One, who provide protection to those who seek it, the boat by which one crosses the ocean of miseries, provide me the support of Your hands.

Srila Gurudeva also encouraged me to write a book  about Lord Narasimha in relationship to Gaudiya vaisnavas but due to many obstacels

and properly  due to my offences to great devotees I have not been abel to yet fullfil this order of his yet.Kindly pray for me to be abel to do so.
