sannyasha-ashrama-pavanam
Shri Gauranga Purifies the Sannyasa Ashrama
ntyavasane bhagavan ruroda / premna hareh so'pi vibhinna-dhairyyah
dtva tada tatra samagata vai / rudanti te prema-jalavilakah 1
ntya-avasane - at the end of dancing; bhagavan - the Lord; ruroda - wept; premna - out of love; hareh - of Hari; sa api - that same Person; vibhinna-dhairyah - composure shattered; dtva - seeing; tada - then; tatra - there; samagata - assembled; vai - truly; rudanti - they wept; te - they; prema-jala - the water of love; avila-akah - imperceptibly.
At the culmination of His dancing the splendid Lord wept, His composure shattered by love for Shri Hari. And all those who gathered there to observe the scene also imperceptibly shed tears of love.
tatah samutthaya harih sagadgada- / svarena tan praha samagatan janan
ma tata matash ca vidhehi samprata / shubhashio yena hari-smtih syat 2
tatah - then; samutthaya - rising up; harih - the dispeller of inauspiciousness; sa-gadgada-svarena - with choked voice; tan - them; praha - He said; samagatan - assembled; janan - people; mam - Me; tata - dear father; mata - mother; ca - and; vidhehi - may you bestow; sampratam - now; shubha-ashia - auspicious blessings; yena - whereby; hari-smtih - remembrance of Hari; syat - it may be.
Then standing up, in a faltering voice Gaura Hari spoke to the assembled people , "Dear fathers and mothers, now kindly give Me your auspicious blessings, so that I have remembrance of Shri Hari."
shrutvabhilajjakulita vivastra / gatas tatas te prarudanta eva
shri-kna-prema-paripurna-deha / babhuvuh sad-bhakti-rasena purnah 3
shrutva - hearing; abhilajja - very ashamed; akulita - confounded; vivastra - denuded; gata - went; tata - then; te - they; prarudanta - weeping profusely; eva - indeed; shri-kna-prema - love for Shri Krishna; paripurna - overbrimming; deha - bodies; babhuvuh - they became; sat-bhakti - pure devotion; rasena - by the mellow; purnah - filled.
When the people heard these words, they sensed that their hearts had been stripped naked and thus feeling ashamed and confounded, they wept profusely. Then their hearts filled with sad-bhakti-rasa, and their bodies became overwhelmed by the symptoms of Shri Krishna-prema.
tan santvayitva nija-darshanamtaih / sa gaura-candro bhagavan jagama
guror nivasa saha-vainavagraih / shri-keshavakhyasya mahanubhavah 4
tan - them; santvayitva - pacified; nija-darshana - the sight of His Person; amtaih - by the deathless nectar; sa - He; gaura-candra - the golden moon; bhagavan - the all-opulent Lord; jagama - He went; guro - of His guru; nivasam - the residence; saha-vainava-agraih - with the advanced vaishnavas; shri-keshava-akhyasya - named Shri Keshava; maha-anubhavah - munificent.
After pacifying their hearts with the nectarean vision of His Person, the munificent Lord, Bhagavan Shri Gaura Candra accompanied by the foremost vaishnavas, proceeded onwards to the residence of His guru, the great soul, Shri Keshava.
natva guroh pada-yuga nivasa / tasmin sa cakre karunambudhir harih
shri-rama-narayana-nama-mangala / gayan gunan prema-vibhinna-dhairyyah 5
natva - after bowing; guroh - of His guru; pada-yugam - pair of feet; nivasam - dwelling; tasmin - in that place; sa - He; cakre - made; karuna-ambudhi - the ocean of mercy; harih; shri-rama-narayana-nama-mangalam - auspicious names Shri Rama and Narayana; gayan - singing; gunan - the qualities; prema-vibhinna-dhairyah - composure dissolved by love.
Arriving there, the ocean of mercy bowed down to the feet of His guru. Then He took up His residence in that place, and so doing, He continously sang auspicious songs of the names and qualities of Shri Rama, Narayana, until His composure dissolved in prema.
tathaparahne nri-harer avaptyai / nyasokta-karmmani cakara shuddha
acaryya-ratno bhagavash cakara / krishnasya puja vidhivad vidhi-jna 6
tatha - so; aparahne - in the afternoon; nri-hare - of the human-like form of Hari; avaptyai - for obtaining; nyasa - renunciation; ukta - spoken; karmani - functions; cakara - He performed; shuddha - pure; acarya-ratna - the Jewel Teacher; bhagavan - the Lord; cakara - did; krishnasya - of Krishna Chaitanya; pujam - worship; vidhi-vat - according to etiquette; vidhi-jna - learned in procedure.
In the afternoon the great personality _carya Ratna, who was learned in Vedic vidhi, in a purified state worshipped Shri Krishna, and performed the ceremony for the consecration of sannyasa .
tatah samipa sa guror hitarthi / gatvavadat karna-samipa ishah
svapne maya mantra-varo hi labdhah / shnuva tat ki tava sammata syat 7
tatah - then; samipam - nearby; sa - He; guro - of the guru; hita-arthi - desiring the welfare; gatva - went; avadat - He said; karna-samipe - in the ear; ishah - the Lord; svapne - in a dream; maya - by Me; mantra-vara - excellent mantra; hi - truly; labdhah - obtained; shnuva - hear; tat - that; kim - whether?; tava - your; sammatam - approved; syat - it may be.
Then desiring His guru's welfare, Shri Vishvambhara approached him and murmured in his ear, "Within a dream I received an excellent mantra. Please hear it from Me and tell Me if you approve."
vara-traya tat-shravanantika svaya / provaca nyasokta-manu vishuddham
shrutvavadat so 'pi harer ida syat / sannyasa-mantra parama pavitram 8
vara-trayam - three times; tat-shravana-antika - near his ear; svayam - Himself; provaca - uttered; nyasa-ukta - recited for renunciation; manum - mantra; vishuddham - transcendentally pure; shrutva - hearing; avadat - He said; sa api - that very mantra; hare - of Hari; idam - this; syat - this may be; sannyasa-mantram - the mantra for accepting sannyasa; paramam - highest; pavitram - pure.
He uttered that transcendentally pure mantra which is chanted by sannyasis. three times in his ear. Hearing it, Shri Keshava replied, "Indeed, this is the supremely purifying mantra of Shri Hari."
vyajena dika gurave sa dattva / lokaika-natho gurur avyayatma
guro dadasvadya maniita me / sannyasam ity aha putanjalih prabhuh 9
vyajena - by pretense; dikam - initiation; gurave - to his guru; sa - He; dattva - gave; loka - of the worlds; eka-natha - the one Lord; guru - spiritual master; avyaya-atma - whose body is imperishable; guro - O guru; dadasva - please give; adya - today; maniitam - desired; me - to Me; sannyasam - renunciation; iti - thus; aha - He said; puta-anjalih - hollowed hands; prabhuh - the Master.
Thus by a pretense the one supreme and changeless guru, who is the Master of all worlds, initiatied His guru. Then with hands folded in supplication, Prabhu said, "He guruji! Kindly fulfill My heart's longing and today endow Me with the order of sannyasa."
tatah shubhe sankramane raveh kane / kumbha prayati makaran manii
sannyasa-mantra pradadau mahatma / shri-keshavakhyo haraye vidhana-vit 10
tatah - then; shubhe - auspicious; sankramane - in the journey; raveh - of the sun; kane - at the moment; kumbham - Aquarius; prayati - he enters; makarat - from Capricorn; manii - intelligent; sannyasa-mantram - mantra for renunciants; pradadau - bestowed; maha-atma - great soul; shri-keshava-akhya - known as Shri Keshava; haraye - to Hari; vidhana-vit - learned in precept.
Then at the auspicious moment of the sun's journey from Capricorn into Aquarius, that intelligent mahatma, Shri Keshava, who was learned in the precepts of spiritual life, gave back the sannyasa mantra to Shri Hari.
tatah sa-romancita-deha-yashtir / ananda-netrambubhir ardra-vaksha
sannyasta evaham iti svaya hari / sa-gadgada-vakyam uvaca deva 11
tatah - then; sa-romancita - with thrilling of hairs; deha-yashti - slender body; ananda-netra-ambubhi - by tears of joy; ardra-vaksha - wet chest; sannyasta - renounced; eva - indeed; aham - I; iti - thus; svayam - spontaneously; hari - the remover of sin; sa-gadgada-vakyam - with words choked up; uvaca - He said; deva - the Lord.
As the hairs of His slender body thrilled with joy, and His chest became became wet with tears, Shri Hari Deva candidly uttered with a faltering voice, "At last, I have given up family life!"
gacchantam alokya hari guruh svaya / danda sa-cela tvaraya dadau kare
bho bho ghaneti vadan guror vvacah / shrutva ghitva guru-bhakti-lampatah 12
guror nidesha bahu-manyamanas / tatravasat tad-divasa jitarih
ratrau vasan kirtanam ashu cakre / ntya ca tasmin guruna sama prabhuh 13
gacchantam - going; alokya - gazing at; harim - Hari; guruh - the spiritual master; svayam - of His own accord; dandam - rod; sa-celam - with cloth; tvaraya - quickly; dadau - gave; kare - in the hand; bho bho - Oh! Oh!; ghana - please take; iti - thus; vadan - saying; guro - of the guru; vacah - the words; shrutva - hearing; ghitva- having accepted; guru-bhakti-lampatah - very eager for devotion to His guru; guro - of His guru; nidesham - instruction; bahu-manyamana - much honoring; tatra - there; avasat - He dwelt; tat-divasam - that day; jita-arih - victor of the enemies of spiritual life: lust, anger, greed, illusion, envy, madness; ratrau - at night; vasan - staying; kirtanam - chanting; ashu - immediately; cakre - He made; ntyam - dancing; ca - and; tasmin - there; guruna samam - with the guru; prabhuh - the Master.
Then seeing that Shri Hari was about to depart, His guru overtook Him and quickly placed the dana and sannyasa cloth in His hand, saying, "Bho! Good sir! Please take these also!" Hearing him, that conqueror of the foes of spiritual life, accepted those articles of sannyasa. Then being very eager to teach the principle of guru-bhakti, he honored the instruction of His guru and resided in that place for the day. Then suddenly at night our Prabhu began to sing and dance in the company of His guru.
nanartta tasmin jagata guror guruh / knena sarddha mahata sukhena
ananda-purnas tu punah sa mene / brahma sukha tucchatara mahatma 14
nanarta - he danced; tasmin - there; jagatam - of sentient beings; guro - of the guru; guruh - the guru; knena - with Krishna; sardham - together; mahata - great; sukhena - with happiness; ananda-purna - filled with joy; tu - indeed; punah - more; sa - he; mene - thought; brahmam sukham - happiness from brahman realization; tuccha-taram - most insignificant; maha-atma - the great soul.
In great bliss the guru of the guru of all embodied beings danced there with his disciple, Shri Krishna Chaitanya. Filled with ananda, which ever increased more and more, that mahatma then considered brahma-sukha to be insignificant.
ntyavasane harim abravit sa / ko 'piha me dandam imam karagrat
akya ma praha bhuja-dvayena / sptva svaya tva natana kuruva 15
ntya-avasane - at the end of dancing; harim - the dispeller of evil; abravit - he said; sa - he; ka api - who indeed?; iha - at this time; me - of me; dandam - staff; imam - this; kara-agrat - from my fingertips; akya - taking; mam - me; praha - He said; bhuja-dvayena - with His two arms; sptva - touching; svayam - Himself; tvam - you; natanam - dancing; kuruva - do.
When their singing and dancing had ended, Keshava Bharati said to Shri Hari, "Who actually accepted the dana from my fingertips? Who is He that held Me within His arms and commanded me to dance?
tato 'ham ananda-paripluto muda / pravishya ntya ktavan suvihvalah
shrutva vacas tasya suvismitas te / sa vainavah prema-vibhinna-dhairyah 16
tata - then; aham - I; ananda-paripluta - immersed in bliss; muda - out of joy; pravishya - entering; ntyam - dancing; ktavan - have done; su-vihvalah - very overwhelmed; shrutva - hearing; vaca - the words; tasya - his; su-vismita - very astonished; te - they; sa - he; vainavah - devotees of the Lord; prema - out of love; vibhinna-dhairyah - composure destroyed.
"Now that I have begun to dance, I am wholly overwhelmed and happily float in an ocean of bliss." Hearing the words of this former monist, the vaishnavas became most astonished, and they also lost all sense of externals within the waves of prema.
shrutva guror vakyam analpam arthavan / nanartta tasmin sva-janair anuvrata
harshena yukto mahata mahatma / svaya hari svatma-rato gunashraya 17
shrutva - hearing; guro - of His guru; vakyam - the statement; analpam - not inconsequential; arthavat - meaningful; nanarta - He danced; tasmin - there; sva-janai - with His men; anuvrata - devoted follower; harshena - with joy; yukta - imbued; mahata - with great; maha-atma - great soul; svayam - Himself; hari - the remover of sin; sva-atma-rata - in love with Himself; guna-ashraya - the shelter of good qualities.
Hearing these words from His guru, which were not trivial but filled with meaning, Shri Hari, feeling Himself his guru's devoted follower, in a mood of immense exultation, sang and danced with His men in that place. Thereafter Lord who offers shelter to all sublime qualities became attached to contemplation of His inner Self.
sa bharati prema-pariplutatma / kamandalu dandam apiha dure
kiptva nanartta prabhuna sama vai / sannyasa-dharmasya pavitra-hetuna 18
sa - he; bharati - Keshava Bharati; prema-paripluta-atma - a soul floating in prema; kamandalum - waterpot; dandam - staff; api - also; iha - in that place; dure - to a disant place; kiptva - throwing away; nanarta - he danced; prabhuna - with Prabhu; samam - together; vai - verily; sannyasa-dharmasya - of the renounced order; pavitra-hetuna - with the purpose of purifying.
That Keshava Bharati had become a soul fully immersed in love of Krishna. Tossing far away his dana and kamandalu , he danced with Mahaprabhu to purify his sannyasa-dharma.
iti svaya yad bhagavat-kta shubha / sannyasam ananda-kara dvi-janmamam
shnoti yas tasya bhaved vimuktir / labhec ca tat tan manasa yad icchati 19
iti - thus; svayam - by His own desire; yat - what; bhagavat-ktam - done by the Lord; shubham - sublime; sannyasa - renunciation; ananda-karam - evoking bliss; dvi-janmamam - for twice-born men; shnoti - he hears; ya - who; tasya - his; bhavet - it may be; vimukti - complete liberation; labhet - can achieve; ca - and; tat tat - whatever; manasa - by his mind; yat - what; icchati - he desires.
One who hears this sublime narration of the Lord's acceptance of sannyasa, which awakens bliss in the hearts of the twice born, achieves complete freedom from the bondage of material existence and attains whatever his heart may desire.
Thus ends the Second Sarga entitled "Shri Gauranga Purifies the Sannyasa _shrama," in the Third Prakrama of the great poem Shri Chaitanya Carita.

those who are real sannyasis should not disobey Lord Caitanya : gauranga shrimukhe rupe kahila vaishnave;
laksha nama sankhya kari avasya karibe.
"Lord Gauranga gave the following instructions to all the Vaishnavas Himself and also through Shrila Rupa Goswami: Please compulsorily chant 100,000 names of Krishna daily

even a proud neophyte sannyasi if he hears these pastimes will take to chanting 64 rounds daily of the Mahamantra and become a bonafide sannyasi in the line of Lord Caitanya as Lord Caitanya especially those in the sannyasa asrama also take to chanting 64 rounds but it was Lord Caitanyas order to all Vaisnavas : prabhura achaye sankhya tina laksha nama;
eka laksha bhaktagane kaila kripa dana.
"Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu standard was to chant 3,00,000 names everyday. But He very mercifully awarded His devotees the process of chanting a minimum of 1,00,000 names of Krishna daily.

In the Sri-Gaura-Ganoddesa-dipika of Kavi Karnapura, Kesava Bharati is listed as the reincarnation of Sandipani Muni. So obviously Kesava Bharati was not really a Mayavadi it was all lila of Lord Caitanya ,SRI KRSNA FORMER guru became His Sannyasa Guru in Gaura Lila

By Lord Caitanya taking sannyasa from Kesava Bharati he also made him into a pure devotee and he chanted the Mahamahtra in Sattvika Bhava by the grace of Lord Caitanya and threw away his Kamandalu and Eka Danda now he had become a Vaisnava
