Jayadvaita Swami and 9/11 and chanting Hare Krishna

 In the past Jayadvaita Swami wrote an   article about 9/11 being orchestrated by George Bush and company back then ,

http://www.jswami.info/911_distant_view_revisited .Well as it is interesting obviously the solution to spread KC and chant Hare Krsna.

64 rounds is still the standard of Lord Caitanya ,at every step we get closer to death, wether we die in a burning building like the victims of 9/11

or somewhere else or hopefully peacefully.We have to chant Hare Krishna with sincerity

Lokanath das Goswami to Narottama das Thakura:

je vaishnava haibe laibe harinama;
sankhya kari nama laile, kripa karena gauradhama.

"Those who are Vaishavas must chant the Holy Names in a particular number everyday. Then Lord Gauranga, the supreme Abode of love will be merciful to them.

WHAT IS THAT NUMBER?

purva abhipraye sabe laha harinama;
keha laksha viseshatah mukhe gana.

"Everyone should specifically chant or sing the name loudly 100,000 times a day (64 rounds) with the mood I have described earlier.

 

Prabhupada: That is maya. Maya is there. Therefore Krsna says, "The maya is very strong." But if you capture Krsna very, more strongly, then maya cannot do anything. If something is opposing your chanting, then you'll have to chant more loudly: Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare.

So you defeat maya. The medicine is the same. At least, I do so. When I am in some danger, I chant Hare Krsna loudly. Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare/ (laughter) Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. That's all. Bhaktivinoda Thakura... There is song: jay sakal bipod bhaktivinod bole jakhon o-nam gai. He says, "As soon as I chant this Hare Krsna, I become immediately free from all dangers."

Srimad-Bhagavatam (12.3.51-52) states:

 

kaler dosa-nidhe rajann
asti hy eko mahan gunah
kirtanad eva krsnasya
mukta-sangah param vrajet

krte yad dhyayato visnum
tretayam yajato makhaih
dvapare paricaryayam
kalau tad dhari-kirtanat

 

"The most important factor in this Age of Kali, which is an ocean of faults, is that one can be free from all contamination and become eligible to enter the kingdom of God simply by chanting the Hare Krsna mantra. The self-realization that was achieved in the Satya millennium by meditation, in the Treta millennium by the performance of different sacrifices, and in the Dvapara millennium by worship of Lord Krsna can be achieved in the Age of Kali simply by chanting the holy names, Hare Krsna."

"In this age of quarrel and hypocrisy the only means of deliverance is chanting of the holy name of the Lord. There is no other way. There is no other way. There is no other way."

 

We simply have no time for the 9/11 issue;

 

In the Hari-nama-cintamani Srila  Bhaktivinoda Thakura writes:

mane habe-aja laksha nama ye kariba;
krame krame tina laksha nama ye smariba.
mahagraha habe citte namera sankhyaya;
acire jabe jadya sadhura kripaya.

"When one's mind desires to chant and remember one hundred thousand holy names (64 rounds) daily and further desires to slowly increase it to three hundred thousand and when one's mind becomes very attached and eager to complete the fixed number of rounds daily and pushes one to complete the sankhya everyday, then it is understood that very soon the laziness or apathy in chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra will vanish by the mercy of the devotees and one's chanting will bring one the desired fruit of pure love for Krishna."
