Devotional service in our Gaudiya line is not up for mental speculation though many think so .When I saw some temples in ISKCON and Gaudiya math having misunderstand about our vaisnava calendar I decided to write this book . 
Srila Rupa Gosvami writes in his Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu (1.2.101):
shruti-smriti-puranadi-
pancaratra-vidhim vina
aikantiki harer bhaktir
utpatayaiva kalpate

“Devotional service of the Lord that ignores the authorized Vedic literatures like the Upanishads, Puranas and Narada-pancaratra is simply an unnecessary disturbance in society.”

For example some believe that Radhastami is not a fasting day and unlimited other speculation are there ,so what is the actual siddhanta to Radhastami , can one serve grain prasadam to guests at a temple on Janmastami or at ones home .I would believe devotees would want to hear what Srila Sanatana Goswami has compiled in Hari Bhakti Vilasa .However sadly Radhastami and Balarama Purnima has not been mentioned by him or by Srila Gopal Bhatta Goswami that completed this book so due to a lack of sastra praman I am presenting this in this book . We will of course also see what is the standard given by Srila Prabhupada , and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada .I hope this book will be very useful for the next 10.000 years of the golden age of Lord Caitanya
