Do you need to obtain your Gayatri mantras from Niranjana Swami ?
I got Brahminical initiated in 1981 and learned the Gayatri mantras well as everyone .When I was in ISKCON Germany in 1982 and 1983 I had to learn to chant my Gayatri mantras even faster because the German devotees where into efficiency and I recall when I traveled with Krsna Karnamrta das (the German Harikesa disciple )you had 15 minutes to shower and dress brush your teeth and take shower and pass stool.1 minute to chant your Gayatri mantras top and 16 rounds was supposed to be done in an hour and half .One time Niranjana Swami wondered how I chanted my Gayatri mantras so fast.He was still sitting there 5 minuets later after I had completed my Gayatri mantras in the morning .We are talking 1993 in ISKCON Boston.I told Maharaja follow me while I show you , and i showed him how I chanted my Gayatri mantras in a minute.Now I have also addeded Narasimha Gayatri, Sudarshan Gayatri, Yamuna Gayatri , Balarama Gayatri and Sri Radha Gayatri so it takes me longer now.So I did not need to obtain my Gayatri mantras again from HH Niranjana Swami .But I guess in this world you get criticized for everything even chanting Gayatri . Srila Narayana Maharaja gave me the Gayatri mantras again when he gave me re initiation in 1999 , hearing them from the lotusmouth of a pure devotee was helpful.He pointed out that m in Klim is pronounced as N like in Kamsa , m with the dot above it is N in Sanskrit . So yes I did not need to take the Gayatri mantas again from Niranjana Swami .He and his disciples where jealous of my Brahmin status that is what is boiled down too .I had recently been in India and done a fire sacrifice for the Hinduja family with many politicians and movie stars etc in Mumbai .So they felt threatened by me.What can you do material world is full of envy . I took it that properly Niranjana Swami was wondering here I sit 10 minutes and chant my Gayatri and this Payondhi chants it so fast .So he properly thought I was not chanting it properly , but I took it he was arrogant. I was chanting Gayatri mantra way before any of his snot nose disciples , he should be correcting them (like one mataji that had got pregnant in Boston temple out of marriage ) ,I did complain to the GBC about being mistreated , and I did not returne to Boston temple ,only for a visit .I got married there on Narasimha Caturdasi on 1997 , I went there again and met Harikesa later that year also and then I went one time on an invitation by HH Niranjana Swami otherwise I never went back to ISKCON Boston and that temple was very dear to me I really hoped I could stay there and just be a brahmacari for life and keep distributing Srila Prabhupadas books without being disturbed but Krsna had other plans .I know Rama Raya Prabhu also made ISKCON Boston his home ,and even just lived in a small closet ,how he left ISKCON Boston is another story.But Krsna had a plan for him to start the daily Harinama program ,I got to meet my Gurudeva again Srila Narayana Maharaja ,to chant 64 rounds daily and write books about Bhakti . I needed my space to worship and chant and study and distribute books in peace, I did not find that anywhere in ISKCON ,having a nice alter and facilty for my Giriraja worship and Salagrama Sila worship is also very pleasing to me .Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu knows what is best for us .He directs us ,I feel Lord Caitanya has directed my life in the way He wants me .We have to find the balance in our individual life and let Lord Gauranga direct us : Chapter 18: Conclusion-The Perfection of Renunciation

isvarah sarva-bhutanam
hrd-dese 'rjuna tisthati
bhramayan sarva-bhutani
yantrarudhani mayaya
SYNONYMS
isvarah—the Supreme Lord; sarva-bhutanam—of all living entities; hrd-dese—in the location of the heart; arjuna—O Arjuna; tisthati—resides; bhramayan—causing to travel; sarva-bhutani—all living entities; yantra—machine; arudhani—being so placed; mayaya—under the spell of material energy.
TRANSLATION
The Supreme Lord is situated in everyone's heart, O Arjuna, and is directing the wanderings of all living entities, who are seated as on a machine, made of the material energy.
PURPORT
Arjuna was not the supreme knower, and his decision to fight or not to fight was confined to his limited discretion. Lord Krsna instructed that the individual is not all in all. The Supreme Personality of Godhead, or He Himself, Krsna, the localized Supersoul, sits in the heart directing the living being. After changing bodies, the living entity forgets his past deeds, but the Supersoul, as the knower of the past, present and future, remains the witness of all his activities. Therefore all the activities of living entities are directed by this Supersoul. The living entity gets what he deserves and is carried by the material body which is created in the material energy under the direction of the Supersoul. As soon as a living entity is placed in a particular type of body, he has to work under the spell of that bodily situation. A person seated in a high-speed motor car goes faster than one seated in a slower car, though the living entities, the drivers, may be the same. Similarly, by the order of the Supreme Soul, material nature fashions a particular type of body to a particular type of living entity to work according to his past desires. The living entity is not independant. One should not think himself independant of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The individual is always under His control. Therefore his duty is to surrender, and that is the injunction of the next verse.
