Antya 14: Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s Feelings of Separation from Kṛṣṇa
Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura gives the following summary of the fourteenth chapter. Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s feelings of separation from Kṛṣṇa resulted in highly elevated transcendental madness. When He was standing near the Garuḍa-stambha and praying to Lord Jagannātha, a woman from Orissa put her foot on the Lord’s shoulder in her great eagerness to see Lord Jagannātha. Govinda chastised her for this, but Caitanya Mahāprabhu praised her eagerness. When Caitanya Mahāprabhu went to the temple of Lord Jagannātha, He was absorbed in ecstatic love and saw only Kṛṣṇa. As soon as He perceived this woman, however, His external consciousness immediately returned, and He saw Jagannātha, Baladeva and Subhadrā. Caitanya Mahāprabhu also saw Kṛṣṇa in a dream, and He was overwhelmed with ecstatic love. When He could no longer see Kṛṣṇa, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu compared Himself to a yogī and described how that yogī was seeing Vṛndāvana. Sometimes all the transcendental ecstatic symptoms were manifest in Him. One night, Govinda and Svarūpa Dāmodara noticed that although the three doors to the Lord’s room were closed and locked, the Lord was not present inside. Seeing this, Svarūpa Dāmodara and the other devotees went outside and saw the Lord lying unconscious by the gate known as Siṁha-dvāra. His body had become unusually long, and the joints of His bones were loose. The devotees gradually brought Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu back to His senses by chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra, and then they took Him back to His residence. Once Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu mistook a sand dune known as Caṭaka-parvata for Govardhana Hill. As He ran toward it, He became stunned, and then the eight ecstatic transformations appeared in His body due to great love for Kṛṣṇa. At that time all the devotees chanted the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra to pacify Him.

CC Antya 14.1 — I shall now describe a very small portion of the activities performed by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu with His mind, intelligence and body when He was bewildered by strong feelings of separation from Kṛṣṇa.
CC Antya 14.2 — All glories to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, the Supreme Personality of Godhead! All glories to Lord Gauracandra, the life and soul of His devotees!
CC Antya 14.3 — All glories to Lord Nityānanda, who is Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s very life! And all glories to Advaita Ācārya, who is extremely dear to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu!
CC Antya 14.4 — All glories to Svarūpa Dāmodara and all the other devotees, headed by Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura! Please give me the strength to describe the character of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
CC Antya 14.5 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s emotion of transcendental madness in separation from Kṛṣṇa is very deep and mysterious. Even though one is very advanced and learned, he cannot understand it.
CC Antya 14.6 — How can one describe unfathomable subject matters? It is possible only if Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu gives him the capability.
CC Antya 14.7 — Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī and Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī recorded all these transcendental activities of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu in their notebooks.
CC Antya 14.8 — In those days, Svarūpa Dāmodara and Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī lived with Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, whereas all other commentators lived far away from Him.

Purport
Besides Svarūpa Dāmodara and Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī, there were many others who also recorded Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s activities. Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura believes that the people of the world would benefit greatly if such notes were available. It is a most unfortunate situation for human society that none of these notebooks is still extant.

I like to add to Srila Prabhupadas purport that Srila Krsna das Kaviraja heard the pastimes of Lord Caitanya directly from the lotusmouth of Srila Raghunath das Goswami ,but the notebook of both Srila Svarupa Damodara Goswami and Srila Srila Raghunath das Goswami are not available ,so in Caitanya Caritamrta we are hearing what Srila Krsna das Kaviraja heard directly from the lotusmouth of Srila Raghunath das Goswami
CC Antya 14.9 — These two great personalities [Svarūpa Dā modara and Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī] recorded the activities of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu moment by moment. They described these activities briefly as well as elaborately in their notebooks.
CC Antya 14.10 — Svarūpa Dāmodara wrote short notes, whereas Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī wrote elaborate descriptions. I shall now describe Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s activities more elaborately, as if fluffing out compressed cotton.
CC Antya 14.11 — Please hear faithfully this description of Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s ecstatic emotions. Thus you will come to know of His ecstatic love, and ultimately you will achieve love of Godhead.
CC Antya 14.12 — When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu felt separation from Kṛṣṇa, His condition exactly corresponded to that of the gopīs in Vṛndāvana after Kṛṣṇa’s departure for Mathurā.
CC Antya 14.13 — The lamentation of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī when Uddhava visited Vṛndāvana gradually became a feature of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s transcendental madness.
CC Antya 14.14 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s emotions exactly corresponded to those of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī when She met Uddhava. The Lord always conceived of Himself in Her position and sometimes thought that He was Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī Herself.

Srila Prabhupada did not comment on these slokas though I have heard Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura also wrote commentary to Caitanya Caritamrta .I am not sure if that is correct but if any acarya has commented futher on Caitanya Caritamrta these texts should be translated for the benefit of the world. Krsna send Uddhava with His own chariot to Vrindavana .

gaccha cighram vrajam he sakhe sundaram
shri-lata-kunja-punjadibhir manditam
caila-krishna-prabha-caru-vrndavanam
gopa-gopi-ganair gokulam sagkulam

shri-bhagavan uvaca - the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; gaccha - go; cighram - at once; vrajam - to Vraja; he - O; sakhe - friend; sundaram - beautiful; shri-lata-kunja-pu 24jadibhih - with many beautiful forests and flowering vines; manditam - decorated; caila - Govardhana Hill; krishna - the Yamuna; prabha - glory; caru - beautiful; vrndavanam - Vrndavana; gopa-gopi-ganaih - with many gopas and gopis; gokulam - Gokula; sagkulam - filled.

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Friend, please go at once to beautiful Vraja, which is decorated with many beautiful forest groves and flowering vines, which has beautiful Vrndavana forest glorious with Govardhana Hill and the Yamuna, and which is filled with gopas and gopis.

eka-patram tu nandaya vai diyatam
va dvitiyam yacoda-kare caiva bhoh
va trtiyam tv idam radhikayai sakhe
tatra gatva hi tan-mandiram sundaram

eka-patram - one letter; tu - indeed; nandaya - to Nanda; vai - indeed; diyatam - should be given; va - or; dvitiyam - a second; yacoda-kare - in Yacoda's hand; ca - and; eva - inded; bhoh - Oh; va - or; trtiyam - a third; tv - indeed; idam - this; radhikayai - to Radha; sakhe - O friend; tatra - there; gatva - having gone; hi - inded; tan-mandiram - to the palace; sundaram - beautiful.

There please give a letter to King Nanda. Place a second letter in Yacoda's hand. Then, O friend, go to Radha's beautiful palace and give a letter to Radha.

Text 6

va caturtham sakhibhyah cicubhyah cubham
kaucalam diyatam patram evam prthak
gopikanam catebhyac ca yuthebhya
unmohitanam ca deyani patrani ca

va - or; caturtham - a fourth; sakhibhyah - to the friends; cicubhyah - boys; cubham - beautiful; kaucalam - auspicious; diyatam - should be given; patram - letter; evam - thus; prthak - one; gopikanam - of the gopis; catebhyah - to hundreds; ca - and; yuthebhya - groups; unmohitanam - bewildered with love; ca - and; deyani - should be given; patrani - many letters; ca - and.

Give a fourth splendid and auspicious letter to My childhood gopa friends. Give letters to each of the hundreds of groups of gopis bewildered with love for Me.

So not only did Sri Krsna send a letter to Srimati Radharani but to each of the hundreds of groups of Gopis , in the material world people are often very impersonal due to selfish motives but the Supreme Personality of Godhead is the most personable and most wonderfull personalist and He cares personally about all His devotees.We should not let our heart become like an impersonalist .but open up to Sri Krsna and all His pure devotees this is explained in Nectar of Instruction sloka 4

me pita nanda-rajo ghrni man-mana
me ca mata yacoda smaraty acu mam
vakya-vrndaih cubhair niti-vit tvam tayor
me param pritim arad dvayor avaha

me - My; pita - father; nanda-rajah - King Nanda; ghrni - kind; man-mana - his mind fixed on Me; me - My; ca - and; mata - mother; yacoda - Yacoda; smarati - remembers; acu - at once; mam - Me; vakya-vrndaih - with many words; cubhaih - beautiful; niti-vit - wise; tvam - you; tayoh - of them; me - and; param - great; pritim - love; arat - near; dvayoh - both; avaha - bring.

My kind father, King Nanda, places all his thoughts on Me. My mother, Yacoda, always thinks of Me. You are expert in speaking many graceful words. Please carry My love to them.

mat-priya radhika mad-viyogatura
manyate mam vina kham jagan mohatah
mad-viyogadhim asya mad-uktaih padair
mocaya tvam bhavan daksino vak-pathe

mat - My; priya - beloved; radhika - Radha; mad-viyogatura - overcome with separation fropm Me; manyate - thinks; mam - of Me; vina - without; kham - sky; jagat - the universe; mohatah - from bewilderment; mad-viyogadhim - tormented in My absence; asya - of Her; mad-uktaih - with My words; padaih - with words; mocaya - please release; tvam - you; bhavan - you; daksinah - expert; vak-pathe - in the path of words.

Radha, My beloved, is tortured by My absence. In My absence She thinks the entire world is a great expanse of empty sky. Speak My words to Her and free Her from Her suffering in My absence. You are expert in walking on the path of eloquent words.

Text 9

gopa-balah sudamadayo mat-priya
mam sakhayam vina te 'pi mohaturah
dehi tesam sukham mitra-vac chri-vraje
sv-alpa-kalena tatragamisyamy aham

gopa-balah - the gopa boys; sudamadayah - headed by Sudama; mat-priya - dear to Me; mam - to Me; sakhayam - friend; vina - without; te - they; api - also; mohaturah - bewildered; dehi - give; tesam - of the them; sukham - happiness; mitra-vat - like a friend; shri-vraje - in beautiful Vraja; sv-alpa-kalena - in a little time; tatra - there; agamisyami aham - I will come.

The gopa boys are also very dear to Me. Without Me, their friend, they are bewildered and unhappy. As a friend does, make them happy. Very soon I will return to beautiful Vraja.

Text 10

gopika mad-viyogadhi-vegatura
man-manaskac ca mat-prapta-dehasavah
ya mad-arthe ca santyakta-lokabalas
tah katham natra mantrin bibharmi svatah

gopikah - the gopis; mad-viyogadhi-vegatura - tortured by My absence; man-manaskah - their thoughts fixed on Me; ca - and; mat-prapta - placed in Me; deha - their bodies; asavah - and life; ya - who; mad-arthe - for My sake; ca - and; santyakta - renounced; loka - the world; abalah - women; tah - they; katham - how?; na - not; atra - here; mantrin - O counselor; bibharmi - I maintain; svatah - personally.

The gopis are tortured by My absence. Their thoyghts are fixed on Me. Their bodies and lives are dedicated to Me. For My sake they have renounced the entire world. Counselor, how can I not protect and maintain them?

Text 11

ta asun tyaktum atrodyata uddhava
yabhir adyapi krcchrair ghrtac casavah
mad-viyogadhim asam mad-uktaih padair
mocaya tvam bhavan daksino vak-pathe

tah - they; asun - life; tyaktum - to abandon; atra - here; udyata - about; uddhava - O Uddhava; yabhih - by whom; adya - now; api - even; krcchraih - with difficulty; ghrtah - held; ca - and; asavah - life; mad-viyogadhim - the torment of being separated from Me; asam - of them; mad-uktaih - with My words; padaih - with words; mocaya - release; tvam - you; bhavan - you; daksinah - expert; vak-pathe - on the path of words.

O Uddhava, they are on the verge of giving up their lives. It is very difficult for them to remain alive. Speak My words to them and free them from their suffering in My absence. You are expert in walking on the path of eloquent words

Take the chariot on which I left Vraja, decorate it with tinkling bells, take a charioteer and horses, take a form like My own, take My yellow garments, vaijayanti garland, thousand-petal lotus, splendid jewel earrings, Kaustubha jewel more glorious than millions of rising suns, beautiful flute filled with sweet music, flower-decorated stick that charms all the worlds, beautiful, splendidly fragrant sandal paste, ornaments of jasmine flowers and peacock feathers, tinkling anklets, crown, and armlets, and then go at once, go now, on My word, to Vraja.

shri-narada uvaca - Shri Narada said; iti - thus; ukta - addressed; uddhava - Uddhava; cighram - at once; namaskrtya - offering obeisances; krtanjalih - with folded hands; krishnam - Lord Krishna; pradaksini-krtya - circumambulating; ratharudhah - riding on a chariot; vrajam - to Vraja; yayau - went.

Hearing these words, with folded hands Uddhava bowed before Lord Krishna, circumambulated Him, and at once rode on a chariot to Vraja.

koticah kotico gavah
yatra yatra manoharah
cveta-parvata-sagkaca
divya-bhusana-bhusitah

koticah - millions; koticah - and miullions; gavah - cows; yatra - where; yatra - where; manoharah - beautiful; cveta-parvata - white mountains; sagkaca - splendid; divya-bhusana-bhusitah - decorated with splendid ornaments.

Wherever he went in Vraja there were millions and millions of beautiful cows glorious as great white mountains and decorated with splendid ornaments.

payasvinyas tarunyac ca
cila-rupa-gunair yutah
sa-vatsah pita-pucchac ca
vrajantyo bhavya-murtikah

payasvinyah - full of milk; tarunyah - young; ca - and; cila-rupa-gunaih - virtuous; yutah - endowed; sa-vatsah - with calves; pita-pucchah - yellow tails; ca - and; vrajantyah - going; bhavya-murtikah - beautiful forms.

They were young, virtuous, full of milk, and accompanied by their calves. They were beautiful and their tails were yellow.

ghanta-manjita-jhagkarah
kigkini-jala-manditah
hema-tulya hema-crggyo
hara-malah sphurat-prabhah

ghanta-manjita-jhagkarah - with tinkjling bells and ornamnets; kigkini-jala-manditah - decorated with a network of tinkling ornaments; hema-tulya - like gold; hema-crggyah - with gold horns; hara-malah - with necklaces and garlands; sphurat-prabhah - splendid.

They were deocrated with networks of tinkling bells and ornaments and with garlands and necklaces. Their bodies and horns were like gold.

patalah haritas tamra
pitah cyama vicitritah
dhumrah kokila-varnac ca
yatra gavas tv anekadha

patalah - pink; haritah - green; tamra - brown; pitah - yellow; cyama - black; vicitritah - different colors; dhumrah - smokey; kokila-varnah - the color of cuckoos; ca - and; yatra - where; gavah - cows; tv - indeed; anekadha - many.

Some cows were pink, some green, some brown, some multi-colored, some yellow, some smoke-colored, and some the color of cuckoos.

samudra-vad dugdha-dac ca
taruni-kara-citritah
kuragga-vad vilagghadbhir
go-vatsair manditah cubhah

samudra-vat - like an ocean; dugdha-dah - giving milk; ca - and; taruni-kara-citritah - decorated with girls' handprints; kuragga-vat - like deer; vilagghadbhih - leaping; go-vatsaih - with calves; manditah - decorated; cubhah - beautiful and auspicious.

They were decorated with pictures of girls' handprints. They gave milk that was like an ocean. They were decorated with calves leaping like deer.

please note this :Actually in the Prema Dhvani prayers in Gaudiya math after kirtana is chanted Jaya sri Sri Radha Krsna, Gopa, Gopi ,Go ( Krsnas cows ) Shyama Kunda Radhakunda Girigovardhana ki jaya ..

actually in ISKCON is has become Gopa, Gopinath etc it is actually incorrect the way most chant this Prema Dhvani ,Gopa referse to the Sakhas , Gopi ,to the Gopis and Go to the cows of Sri Krsna

dirgha-kandhara-crggadhya
yatra dharma-dhurandharah

itas tatah - here and there; calantah - going; ca - and; go-ganesu - among the cows; maha-vrsah - great bulls; dirgha - long; kandhara - shoulders; crgga - horns; adhyah - opulent; yatra - where; dharma-dhurandharah - carrying the principles of religion.

Wandering here and there among the cows were great bulls with broad shoulders and long horns, bulls bearing the principles of religion.

Text 22

gopala vetra-hastac ca
cyama-vamci-dharah parah
krishna-lilah pragayanto
ragair madana-mohanaih

gopala - gopas; vetra-hastah - with stick in hand; ca - and; cyama-vamci-dharah - holding black flutes; parah - great; krishna - of Lord Krishna; lilah - pastimes; pragayantah - singing; ragaih - with ragas; madana-mohanaih - charming Kamadeva.

There were many gopas playing black flutes and, with melodies that could charm Kamadeva himself, singing of Lord Krishna's pastimes

Text 23

durat tam agatam viksya
jnatva krishnam vrajarbhakah
ucuh parasparam te vai
krishna-darcana-lalasah

durat - from far away; tam - him; agatam - coming; viksya - seeing; jnatva - understanding; krishnam - Krishna; vrajarbhakah - the boys of Vraja; ucuh - said; parasparam - among themselves; te - they; vai - indeed; krishna-darcana-lalasah - yearning to see Krishna.

Seeing Uddhava coming, and thinking he was Krishna Himself, the gopa boys, eager to see Krishna, spoke among among themselves.

Text 24

shri-gopa ucuh
nanda-sunuh kilayati
sakha yo 'yam na samcayah
megha-cyamah pita-vasah
sragvi kundala-manditah

shri-gopa ucuh - the gopas said; nanda-sunuh - Nanda's son; kila - indeed; ayati - comes; sakha - friend; yah - who; ayam - He; na - not; samcayah - doubt; megha-cyamah - dark as a cloud; pita-vasah - with yellow garments; sragvi - garlanded; kundala-manditah - decorated with earrings.

The gopas said: Nanda's son is coming. It is our friend Krishna. There is no doubt of it. He is dark as a monsoon cloud. He wears yellow garments. He is decorated with earrings and a garland.

Text 25

kaustubhi kundali bibhrat
sahasra-dala-pagkajam
tad eva mukutam bibhrat
koti-martanda-sannibham

kaustubhi - kaustubha; kundali - earrings; bibhrat - carrying; sahasra-dala-pagkajam - a thousand petal lotus; tat - that; eva - indeed; mukutam - crown; bibhrat - wearing; koti-martanda-sannibham - splendid as a million suns.

He wears earrings and a Kastubha jewel. He holds a thousand-petal lotus. He wears a crown splendid as millions of suns.

Text 26

ta evacva rathah so 'yam
kigkini-jala-manditah
balo nasti rathe casminn
ekaki nanda-nandanah

te - they; eva - indeed; acvah - horses; rathah - chariot; sah - He; ayam - He; kigkini-jala-manditah - decorated with a network of tinkling ornaments; balah - Balarama; na - not; asti - is; rathe - on the chariot; ca - and; asmin - in this; ekaki - alone; nanda-nandanah - Krishna.

These are the same horses. It is the same chariot decorated with a network of tinkling ornaments. Balarama is not on it. Nanda's son has come alone.

Text 27

shri-narada uvaca
evam vadanto gopalah
cridamadya videha-rat
krishnakrtim krishna-sakham
ayayuh sarvato ratham

shri-narada uvaca - Shri Narada said; evam - thus; vadantah - saying; gopalah - the gopas; cridamadya - headed by Shridama; videha-rat - O king of Videha; krishna - of Lord Krishna; akrtim - the form; krishna-sakham - Lord Krishna's friend; ayayuh - came; sarvatah - from everywhere; ratham - the chariot.

Shri Narada said: O king of Videha, speaking in this way, the gopas headed by Shridama surrounded the chariot Krishna's friend, whose form was like Krishna's.

Text 28

krsno nastiti vadatah
ko 'yam saksat tad-akrtih
tan namaskrtyaupagavih
parirabhyavadat pathi

krishnah - Krishna; na - not; asti - is; iti - thus; vadatah - saying; kah - who?; ayam - he; saksat - directly; tad-akrtih - His form; tan - to them; namaskrtya - bowing; aupagavih - Uddhava; parirabhya - embracing; avadat - spoke; pathi - on the path.

The gopas said, "He is not Krishna. Who is he? His form is like Krishna's." Then, in the middle of the road, Uddhava bowed before the gopas and embraced them all.

shri-uddhava uvaca
grhana patram cridaman
krishna-dattam na samcayah
cokam ma kuru gopalaih
kucaly aste harih svayam

shri-uddhava uvaca - Shri Uddhava said; grhana - take; patram - this letter; cridaman - O Shridama; krishna-dattam - given by Krishna; na - not; samcayah - doubt; cokam - lament; ma - don't; kuru - do; gopalaih - with gopas; kucali - welfare; aste - is; harih - Krishna; svayam - Himself.

Shri Uddhava said: O Shridama, please take this letter. Krishna gave it. Of this there is no doubt. Don't lament. Krishna takes a personal interest in the welfare of the gopas.

Now Uddhava is the highest of all the Lords devotees outside of Vraja ,this is explained in Brhad Bhagavatamrta ,Krsna send Uddhava also to get the mercy of the Gopas and Gopis of even Sri Radha and of Nanda Maharaja and Yasoda and all the Vrijabasis.Uddhava is such a high class devotee, he simply prayed to become grass around Kusuma sarovara so the Gopis would step on him and give him the dust of their lotus feet .
Text 30

yadavanam mahat karyam
krtvatha sa-balah prabhuh
hrasva-kalena catrapi
bhagavan agamisyati

yadavanam - of the Yadavass; mahat - great; karyam - deed; krtva - doing; atha - then; sa-balah - with Balarama; prabhuh - the Lord; hrasva - short; kalena - time; ca - and; atra - here; api - also; bhagavan - the Lord; agamisyati - will return.

After He has fulfilled His responsibilities to the Yadavas, Lord Krishna and Balarama will quickly returne to Vraja.

Note : One devotee thought Sri Krsna never returned to Vraja though this is not mentioned in details in Srimad Bhagavatam actually Krsna did returne to Vraja after killing Dantavakra this is confirmed in the commentaries of the acaryas to SB 10th Canto Garga Samhita has described Krsnas returne to Vraja in great detail

shri-narada uvaca
pathitva tad-dhasta-patram
cridamadya vrajarbhakah
bhrcam acruni muncantah
prahur gadgadaya gira

shri-narada uvaca - Shri Narada said; pathitva - after reading; tad-dhasta-patram - the letter in his hand; cridamadya - headed by Shridama; vrajarbhakah - the boys of Vraja; bhrcam - greatly; acruni - tears; mu 24cantah - shedding; prahuh - said; gadgadaya - choked with emotion; gira - with words.

Shri Narada said: After reading the letter in their hands, the boys of Vraja burst into tears. Then, their voices choked with emotion, they spoke.

Text 32

shri-gopa ucuh
pantheti nirmohini nanda-sunau
tanur vibhutic ca dhanam balam ca
sarva dhiyah krishnam rte vraje nah cunyam prajatam hi jagat samastam

shri-gopah ucuh - the gopas said; pantha - O traveller; iti - thus; nirmohini - free from illusion; nanda-sunau - Nanda's son; tanuh - the body; vibhutih - opulence; ca - and; dhanam - wealth; balam - strength; ca - and; sarva - all; dhiyah - intelligence; krishnam - Krishna; rte - without; vraje - in Vraja; nah - of us; cunyam - void; prajatam - born; hi - indeed; jagat - the universe; samastam - all.

The gopas said: O traveler, Krishna's body, opulence, wealth, strength, intelligence are never thwarted or bewildered. For us people of Vraja, to be without Krishna is to live in a world that is a desert.

Text 33

ksano yugatvam va ghati maha-mate
prayati manvantaratam vrajaukasam
yamac ca kalpam ca dinam vina harim
viyoga-duhkhair dvi-parardhatam gatam

ksanah - a second; yugatvam - the status of a yuga; va - or; ghati - a half-hour; maha-mate - O noble-hearted one; prayati - attains; manvantaratam - the status of a manvantara; vrajaukasam - of the people of Vraja; yamah - three hours; ca - and; kalpam - a kalpa; ca - and; dinam - day; vina - without; harim - Krishna; viyoga-duhkhaih - with the suffering of separation; dvi-parardhatam - a lifetime of Brahma; gatam - attains.

O noble-hearted one, for the people of Vraja suffering in Krishna's absence, a moment has become a yuga, a half-hour has become a manvantara, three hours has become a kalpa, and a day has become a lifetime of Brahma.

Text 34

ahar-nicam tam na hi vismaramahe
dusta ghati sa prayayau yaya hi sah
mano harann uddhava no vanaukasam
vayasya-bhavena sada krtagasam

ahar-nicam - day and night; tam - that; na - not; hi - indeed; vismaramahe - we forget; dusta - wicked; ghati - half-hour; sa - that; prayayau - goes; yaya - by which; hi - inbdeed; sah - He; manah - the mind; harann - stealing; uddhava - O Uddhava; nah - of us; vanaukasam - the people of Vraja; vayasya-bhavena - with friendship; sada - always; krtagasam - sinners.

Day and night we cannot forget Him. The treacherous half-hours pass, but He does not return. O Uddhava, He has stolen all the thoughts of the people of Vraja. Thinking He was just our friend, we must have offended Him again and again.

note : So much more can be said about this part , but it is more confidential than the Vedas and all Upanisads .
We must bow down in front of all the Vrijabasis and beg for their mercy , I offer my prostrated obaisences to Sri Uddhava and the Gopas of Vraja , I pray they will sprinkle their mercy on me.
Sri Krsna and the sakhas
how dear is Uddhava to Krsna?
"Of all devotees, I am Uddhava", and, "He is not less than Me". Krsna also told Uddhava personally, "Oh Uddhava, you are very dear to me. You are dearer to Me than Lord Brahma, more dear than My most dear Mahadeva, more dear than My brother and expansion Sankarsana, and you are more dear to Me than Sri." This word "Sri" refers to Sri Laksmi devi and Srimati Rukmini devi, not to Srimati Radharani. "Oh Uddhava, you are so dear to Me; even My own body is not as dear to Me as you are." in Brhad Bhagavatamrita Naradapraises Uddhava, "O Uddhava, you are so great that Lord Krsna has continuously described your glories both in the Srimad Bhagavatam and in the various Puranas." Uddhava begged Sri Krsna that he wanted to become a blade of grass in Vraja where the Vrijabasis walk ,there is Uddhava Kyari in Vraja where Uddhava read a letter for Radharani and Her most confidential sakhis this is described in SB 10 Canto , and in Summary in Prabhupadas Krsna book where Sri Radha talks to the Bumble bee ,Brahmara Gita chapter 46 and 47 of the Krsna book .The advanced devotee of Lord Caitanya can also study Srila Rupa Goswamis : Uddhava Sandesh

CC Antya 14.15 — Such is the state of transcendental madness. Why is it difficult to understand? When one is highly elevated in love of Kṛṣṇa, he becomes transcendentally mad and talks like a madman.
CC Antya 14.16 — “When the ecstatic emotion of enchantment gradually progresses, it becomes similar to bewilderment. Then one reaches the stage of astonishment [vaicitrī], which awakens transcendental madness. Udghūrṇā and citra-jalpa are two among the many divisions of transcendental madness.”
CC Antya 14.17 — One day while He was resting, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu dreamed He saw Kṛṣṇa performing His rāsa dance.
CC Antya 14.18 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu saw Lord Kṛṣṇa standing with His beautiful body curved in three places, holding His flute to His lips. Wearing yellow garments and garlands of forest flowers, He was enchanting even to Cupid.

veṇuṁ kvaṇantam aravinda-dalāyatākṣaṁ
barhāvataṁsam asitāmbuda-sundarāṅgam
kandarpa-koṭi-kaminīya-viśeṣa-śobhaṁ
govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi
Brahmājī said, "I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who plays on His transcendental flute. His eyes are like lotus flowers, He is decorated with peacock plumes, and His bodily color resembles a fresh black cloud although His bodily features are more beautiful than millions of cupids." These are the special features of the Lord.

premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena
santah sadaiva hrdayesu vilokayanti
yam syamasundaram acintya-guna-svarupam
govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami

"I worship the primeval Lord, Govinda, who is always seen by the devotee whose eyes are anointed with the pulp of love. He is seen in His eternal form of Syamasundara, situated within the heart of the devotee." - Sri Brahma Samhita Chapter 5,

CC Antya 14.19 — The gopīs were dancing in a circle, and in the middle of that circle, Kṛṣṇa, the son of Mahārāja Nanda, danced with Rādhārāṇī.

CC Antya 14.20 — Seeing this, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was overwhelmed with the transcendental mellow of the rāsa dance, and He thought, “Now I am with Kṛṣṇa in Vṛndāvana.”
CC Antya 14.21 — When Govinda saw that the Lord had not yet risen, he awakened Him. Understanding that He had only been dreaming, the Lord was somewhat unhappy.
CC Antya 14.22 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu performed His customary daily duties, and at the usual time He went to see Lord Jagannātha in the temple.
CC Antya 14.23 — As He viewed Lord Jagannātha from behind the Garuḍa column, hundreds and thousands of people in front of Him were seeing the Deity.
CC Antya 14.24 — Suddenly, a woman from Orissa, unable to see Lord Jagannātha because of the crowd, climbed the column of Garuḍa, placing her foot on Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s shoulder.

CC Antya 14.25 — When he saw this, Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s personal servant, Govinda, hastily got her down from her position. Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, however, chastised him for this.
CC Antya 14.26 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said to Govinda, “O ādi-vasyā [uncivilized man], do not forbid this woman to climb the Garuḍa-stambha. Let her see Lord Jagannātha to her satisfaction.”
CC Antya 14.27 — When the woman came to her senses, however, she quickly climbed back down to the ground and, seeing Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, immediately begged at His lotus feet for forgiveness.
CC Antya 14.28 — Seeing the woman’s eagerness, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said, “Lord Jagannātha has not bestowed so much eagerness upon Me.
CC Antya 14.29 — “She has fully absorbed her body, mind and life in Lord Jagannātha. Therefore she was unaware that she was putting her foot on My shoulder.
CC Antya 14.30 — “Alas! How fortunate this woman is! I pray at her feet that she favor Me with her great eagerness to see Lord Jagannātha.”

note: Lord Caitanya used to sing the Jaganath astakam that was written by Sripada Adi Sankacarya the incarnation of Lord Siva :
कदाचित् कालिन्दी तट विपिन सङ्गीत तरलो
मुदाभीरी नारी वदन कमला स्वाद मधुपः
रमा शम्भु ब्रह्मामरपति गणेशार्चित पदो
जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन पथ गामी भवतु मे ॥१॥

kadācit kālindī-taṭa-vipina-saṅgīta ta ralo
mudābhīrī-nārī-vadana-kamalāśvāda-madhupaḥ
ramā-śambhu-brahmāmara-pati-gaṇeśārcita-pado
jagannāthaḥ svāmī nayana-patha-gāmī bhavatu me (1)

Sometimes in great happiness Lord Jagannatha, with His flute, makes a loud concert in the groves on the banks of the Yamuna. He is like a bumblebee who tastes the beautiful lotus-like faces of the cowherd damsels of Vraja, and His lotus feet are worshiped by great personalities such as Lakshmi, Siva, Brahma, Indra and Ganesa. May that Jagannatha Swami be the object of my vision.

भुजे सव्ये वेणुं शिरसि शिखिपिच्छं कटितटे
दुकूलं नेत्रान्ते सहचर-कटाक्षं विदधते ।
सदा श्रीमद्‍-वृन्दावन-वसति-लीला-परिचयो
जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन-पथ-गामी भवतु मे ॥२॥

bhuje savye veṇuṁ śirasi śikhi-picchaṁ kaṭitaṭe
dukūlaṁ netrānte sahacara-kaṭākṣaṁ ca vidadhat
sadā śrīmad-vṛndāvana-vasati-līlā-paricayo
jagannāthaḥ svāmī nayana-patha-gāmī bhavatu me (2)

In His left hand Lord Jagannatha holds a flute. On His head He wears the feathers of peacocks and on His hips He wears fine yellow silken cloth. Out of the corners of His eyes He bestows sidelong glances upon His loving devotees and He always reveals Himself through His pastimes in His divine abode of Vrindavana. May that Jagannatha Swami be the object of my vision.

महाम्भोधेस्तीरे कनक रुचिरे नील शिखरे
वसन् प्रासादान्तः सहज बलभद्रेण बलिना ।
सुभद्रा मध्यस्थः सकलसुर सेवावसरदो
जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन-पथ-गामी भवतु मे ॥३॥

mahāmbhodhes tīre kanaka-rucire nīla-śikhare
vasan prāsādāntaḥ sahaja-balabhadreṇa balinā
subhadrā-madhya-sthaḥ sakala-sura-sevāvasara-do
jagannāthaḥ svāmī nayana-patha-gāmī bhavatu me (3)

Residing on the shore of the great ocean, within a large palace situated upon the crest of the brilliant, golden Nilacala Hill, along with His powerful brother Bala-bhadra, and in the middle of Them His sister Subhadra, Lord Jagannatha bestows the opportunity for devotional service upon all godly souls. May that Jagannatha Swami be the object of my vision.

कृपा पारावारः सजल जलद श्रेणिरुचिरो
रमा वाणी रामः स्फुरद् अमल पङ्केरुहमुखः ।
सुरेन्द्रैर् आराध्यः श्रुतिगण शिखा गीत चरितो
जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन पथ गामी भवतु मे ॥४॥

kṛpā-pārāvāraḥ sajala-jalada-śreṇi-ruciro
ramā-vāṇī-rāmaḥ sphurad-amala-paṅkeruha-mukhaḥ
surendrair ārādhyaḥ śruti-gaṇa-śikhā-gīta-carito
jagannāthaḥ svāmī nayana-patha-gāmī bhavatu me (4)

Lord Jagannatha is an ocean of mercy and He is beautiful like a row of blackish rain clouds. He is the storehouse of bliss for Lakshmi and Saraswati, and His face is like a spotless full-blown lotus. He is worshiped by the best of demigods and sages, and His glories are sung by the Upanishads. May that Jagannatha Swami be the object of my vision.

रथारूढो गच्छन् पथि मिलित भूदेव पटलैः
स्तुति प्रादुर्भावम् प्रतिपदमुपाकर्ण्य सदयः ।
दया सिन्धुर्बन्धुः सकल जगतां सिन्धु सुतया
जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन पथ गामी भवतु मे ॥५॥

rathārūḍho gacchan pathi milita-bhūdeva-paṭalaiḥ
stuti-prādurbhāvam prati-padam upākarṇya sadayaḥ
dayā-sindhur bandhuḥ sakala jagatāṁ sindhu-sutayā
jagannāthah svāmī nayana-patha-gāmī bhavatu me (5)

When Lord Jagannatha is on His Ratha-yatra cart and is moving along the road, at every step there is a loud presentation of prayers and songs chanted by large assemblies of brahmanas. Hearing their hymns Lord Jagannatha is very favorably disposed towards them. He is the ocean of mercy and the true friend of all the worlds. May that Jagannatha Swami, along with His consort Lakshmi, who was born from the ocean of nectar, be the object of my vision.

परंब्रह्मापीड़ः कुवलय-दलोत्‍फुल्ल-नयनो
निवासी नीलाद्रौ निहित-चरणोऽनन्त-शिरसि ।
रसानन्दी राधा-सरस-वपुरालिङ्गन-सुखो
जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन-पथगामी भवतु मे ॥६॥

paraṁ-brahmāpīḍaḥ kuvalaya-dalotphulla-nayano
nivāsī nīlādrau nihita-caraṇo 'nanta-śirasi
rasānandī rādhā-sarasa-vapur-āliṅgana-sukho
jagannāthaḥ svāmī nayana-patha-gāmī bhavatu me (6)

He is the ornament of the head of Lord Brahma and His eyes are like the full-blown petals of the lotus. He resides on the Nilacala Hill, and His lotus feet are placed on the heads of Ananta Deva. Lord Jagannatha is overwhelmed by the mellow of love and He becomes joyful in the embracing of the body of Sri Radharani, which is like a cool pond. May that Jagannatha Swami be the object of my vision.

न वै याचे राज्यं न च कनक माणिक्य विभवं
न याचेऽहं रम्यां सकल जन काम्यां वरवधूम् ।
सदा काले काले प्रमथ पतिना गीतचरितो
जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन पथ गामी भवतु मे ॥७॥

na vai yāce rājyaṁ na ca kanaka-māṇikya-vibhavaṁ
na yāce 'haṁ ramyāṁ sakala jana-kāmyāṁ vara-vadhūm
sadā kāle kāle pramatha-patinā gīta-carito
jagannāthaḥ svāmī nayana-patha-gāmī bhavatu me (7)

I do not pray for a kingdom, nor for gold, rubies, and wealth. I do not ask for an excellent and beautiful wife as desired by all men. I simply pray that Jagannatha Swami, whose glories are always sung by Lord Siva, be the constant object of my vision.

हर त्वं संसारं द्रुततरम् असारं सुरपते
हर त्वं पापानां विततिम् अपरां यादवपते ।
अहो दीनेऽनाथे निहित चरणो निश्चितमिदं
जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन पथ गामी भवतु मे ॥८॥

hara tvaṁ saṁsāraṁ druta-taram asāraṁ sura-pate
hara tvaṁ pāpānāṁ vitatiṁ aparāṁ yādava-pate
aho dīne 'nāthe nihita-caraṇo niścitam idaṁ
jagannāthaḥ svāmī nayana-patha-gāmī bhavatu me (8)

O Lord of the demigods, please quickly remove this useless material existence I am undergoing. O Lord of the Yadus, please destroy this vast ocean of sins which has no shore. Alas, this is certain that Lord Jagannatha’s lotus feet are bestowed upon those who feel themselves fallen and have no shelter in this world but Him. May that Jagannatha Swami be the object of my vision.

जगन्नाथाष्टकं पुन्यं यः पठेत् प्रयतः शुचिः ।
सर्वपाप विशुद्धात्मा विष्णुलोकं स गच्छति ॥९॥

jagannāthāṣṭakaṁ punyaṁ yaḥ paṭhet prayataḥ śuciḥ
sarva-pāpa-viśuddhātmā viṣṇu-lokaṁ sa gacchati

The self-retrained, virtuous soul who recites these eight verses glorifying Lord Jagannatha becomes cleansed of all sins and duly proceeds to Lord Visnu's abode.

॥ इति श्रीमत् शंकराचार्यविरचितं जगन्नाथाष्टकं संपूर्णम् ॥

iti śrimat śaṅkaracārya viracitaṁ jagannāthāṣṭakam saṁpūrṇam

Thus ends the eight stanza hymn Jagannāthāṣṭakam composed by Śrimat Śaṅkaracārya

CC Antya 14.31 — Just previously, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu had been seeing Lord Jagannātha as Kṛṣṇa, the son of Mahārāja Nanda, in person.
CC Antya 14.32 — Becoming fully absorbed in that vision, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu had assumed the mood of the gopīs, so much so that everywhere He looked He saw Kṛṣṇa standing with His flute to His lips.
CC Antya 14.33 — After seeing the woman, the Lord’s external consciousness returned, and He saw the original deity forms of Lord Jagannātha, Subhadrā and Lord Balarāma.
CC Antya 14.34 — When He saw the deities, Lord Caitanya thought He was seeing Kṛṣṇa in Kurukṣetra. He wondered, “Have I come to Kurukṣetra? Where is Vṛndāvana?”
Note : Lord Caitanya was experiencing the mood of seperation of Radharani from Sri Krsna and sometimes Her meeting with Sri Krsna

CC Antya 14.35 — Lord Caitanya grew very much agitated, like a person who has just lost a recently acquired jewel. Then He became very morose and returned home.
CC Antya 14.36 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu sat down on the ground and began to mark it with His fingernails. He was blinded by tears, which flowed from His eyes like the Ganges.
CC Antya 14.37 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said, “I found Kṛṣṇa, the Lord of Vṛndāvana, but I have lost Him again. Who has taken My Kṛṣṇa? Where have I come?”
CC Antya 14.38 — When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu dreamed of the rāsa dance, He was fully absorbed in transcendental bliss, but when His dream broke, He thought He had lost a precious jewel.
CC Antya 14.39 — Thus Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu would chant and dance, always absorbed in the bliss of transcendental madness. He carried out the necessities of the body, such as eating and bathing, merely out of habit.
CC Antya 14.40 — At night, Lord Caitanya would reveal to Svarūpa Dāmodara and Rāmānanda Rāya the ecstatic feelings of His mind.
CC Antya 14.41 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said, “At first My mind somehow achieved the treasure of Kṛṣṇa, but it again lost Him. Therefore it gave up My body and home because of lamentation and accepted the religious principles of a kāpālika-yogī. Then My mind went to Vṛndāvana with its disciples, My senses.”
CC Antya 14.42 — Having lost His acquired gem, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu became overwhelmed with lamentation by remembering its attributes. Then, grasping the necks of Rāmānanda Rāya and Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī, He cried, “Alas, where is My Lord Hari? Where is Hari?” Finally He became restless and lost all patience.
CC Antya 14.43 — “My dear friends,” He said, “please hear of Kṛṣṇa’s sweetness. Because of a great desire for that sweetness, My mind has given up all social and Vedic religious principles and taken to the profession of begging, exactly like a mystic yogī.
CC Antya 14.44 — “The ring of Kṛṣṇa’s rāsa-līlā, manufactured by Śukadeva Gosvāmī, the most auspicious craftsman, is as pure as an earring made from a conchshell. The yogī of My mind is wearing that earring upon his ear. From a gourd he has carved out the bowl of My aspirations, and he has taken the bag of My expectations on his shoulder.
CC Antya 14.45 — “The yogī of My mind wears the torn quilt of anxiety on his dirty body, which is covered with dust and ashes. His only words are ‘Alas! Kṛṣṇa!’ He wears twelve bangles of distress on his wrist and a turban of greed on his head. Because he has not eaten anything, he is very thin.
CC Antya 14.46 — “The great yogī of My mind always studies the poetry and discussions of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Vṛndāvana pastimes. In Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and other scriptures, great saintly yogīs like Vyāsadeva and Śukadeva Gosvāmī have described Lord Kṛṣṇa as the Supersoul, beyond all material contamination.
CC Antya 14.47 — “The mystic yogī of My mind has assumed the name Mahābāula and made disciples of My ten senses. Thus My mind has gone to Vṛndāvana, leaving aside the home of My body and the great treasure of material enjoyment.
CC Antya 14.48 — “In Vṛndāvana, he goes from door to door begging alms with all his disciples. He begs from both the moving and the inert inhabitants — the citizens, the trees and the creepers. In this way he lives on fruits, roots and leaves.
CC Antya 14.49 — “The gopīs of Vrajabhūmi always taste the nectar of Kṛṣṇa’s attributes, His beauty, His sweetness, His aroma, the sound of His flute and the touch of His body. My mind’s five disciples, the senses of perception, gather the remnants of that nectar from the gopīs and bring them to the yogī of My mind. The senses maintain their lives by eating those remnants.
CC Antya 14.50 — “There is a solitary garden where Kṛṣṇa enjoys His pastimes, and in one corner of a pavilion in that garden, the yogī of My mind, along with his disciples, practices mystic yoga. Wanting to see Kṛṣṇa directly, this yogī remains awake throughout the night, meditating on Kṛṣṇa, who is the Supersoul, uncontaminated by the three modes of nature.
CC Antya 14.51 — “When My mind lost the association of Kṛṣṇa and could no longer see Him, he became depressed and took up mystic yoga. In the void of separation from Kṛṣṇa, he experienced ten transcendental transformations. Agitated by these transformations, My mind fled, leaving My body, his place of residence, empty. Thus I am completely in trance.”
CC Antya 14.52 — When the gopīs felt separation from Kṛṣṇa, they experienced ten kinds of bodily transformations. These same symptoms appeared in the body of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
CC Antya 14.53 — “The ten bodily transformations resulting from separation from Kṛṣṇa are anxiety, wakefulness, mental agitation, thinness, uncleanliness, talking like a madman, disease, madness, illusion and death.”
CC Antya 14.54 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was overwhelmed night and day by these ten ecstatic conditions. Whenever such symptoms arose, His mind became unsteady.
CC Antya 14.55 — After speaking in this way, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu fell silent. Then Rāmānanda Rāya began to recite various verses.
CC Antya 14.56 — Rāmānanda Rāya recited verses from Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, and Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī sang of Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes. In this way, they brought Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu to external consciousness.
CC Antya 14.57 — After half the night had passed in this way, Rāmānanda Rāya and Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī made Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu lie down on His bed in the inner room.
CC Antya 14.58 — Then Rāmānanda Rāya returned home, and Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī and Govinda lay down in front of the door to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s room.
CC Antya 14.59 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu remained awake throughout the entire night, chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra very loudly.

Note : In Prema Vilasa it is stated in chapter 17 : prabhura achaye sankhya tina laksha nama;
eka laksha bhaktagane kaila kripa dana.

"Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu standard was to chant 3,00,000 names everyday. But He very mercifully awarded His devotees the process of chanting a minimum of 1,00,000 names of Krishna daily.

shri rupa kaila laksha granthera varnana;
tathapiha karila laksha nama grahana.

"Shrila Rupa Goswami has explained and quoted from over 100,000 different scriptures. Even though he was such a great scholar and devotee he himself chanted 100,000 Holy Names daily.

dasa gosvamira ache laksha pramana;
ei mata sarva bhakta kare harinama.

"Shrila Raghunatha dasa Goswami also rigidly followed the instructions of Lord Gauranga by chanting 100,000 names daily. In this way all the devotees chanted the Holy Names of the Lord daily without exception.

gauranga shrimukhe rupe kahila vaishnave;
laksha nama sankhya kari avasya karibe.

"Lord Gauranga gave the following instructions to all the Vaishnavas Himself and also through Shrila Rupa Goswami: Please compulsorily chant 100,000 names of Krishna daily
CC Antya 14.60 — After some time, Svarūpa Dāmodara could no longer hear Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu chanting. When he entered the room, he found the three doors locked, but Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was gone.
CC Antya 14.61 — All the devotees were very anxious when they saw that the Lord was not in His room. They wandered about searching for Him with a warning lamp.
CC Antya 14.62 — After searching for some time, they came upon Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu lying in a corner by the northern side of the Siṁha-dvāra gate.
CC Antya 14.63 — At first they were overjoyed to see Him, but when they saw His condition, all the devotees, headed by Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī, were very anxious.
CC Antya 14.64 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was lying unconscious, and His body had become elongated to five or six cubits. There was no breath from His nostrils.
CC Antya 14.65-66 — Each of His arms and legs had become three cubits long; only skin connected the separated joints. The Lord’s body temperature, indicating life, was very low. All the joints in His arms, legs, neck and waist were separated by at least six inches.
CC Antya 14.67 — It appeared that only skin covered His elongated joints. Seeing the Lord’s condition, all the devotees were very unhappy.
CC Antya 14.68 — They almost died when they saw Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu with His mouth full of saliva and foam and His eyes turned upward.
CC Antya 14.69 — When they saw this, Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī and all the other devotees began to chant the holy name of Kṛṣṇa very loudly into Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s ear.
CC Antya 14.70 — After they had chanted in this way for a long time, the holy name of Kṛṣṇa entered the heart of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and He suddenly arose with a loud shout of “Haribol!”
CC Antya 14.71 — As soon as the Lord returned to external consciousness, all His joints contracted and His entire body returned to normal.
CC Antya 14.72 — Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī has described these pastimes elaborately in his book Gaurāṅga-stava-kalpavṛkṣa.
CC Antya 14.73 — “In the house of Kāśī Miśra, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu would sometimes be greatly aggrieved, feeling separation from Kṛṣṇa. The joints of His transcendental body would slacken, and His arms and legs would become elongated. Rolling on the ground, the Lord would cry out in distress in a faltering voice and weep very sorrowfully. The appearance of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, awakening in my heart, maddens me.”
CC Antya 14.74 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was very much astonished to find Himself in front of the Siṁha-dvāra. He asked Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī, “Where am I? What am I doing here?”
CC Antya 14.75 — Svarūpa Dāmodara said, “My dear Lord, please get up. Let us go to Your place. There I shall tell You everything that has happened.”
CC Antya 14.76 — Thus all the devotees, supporting Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, took Him back to His residence. Then they all described to Him what had happened.
CC Antya 14.77 — Hearing the description of His condition while He had lain near the Siṁha-dvāra, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was very much astonished. He said, “I do not remember any of these things.
CC Antya 14.78 — “All I can remember is that I saw My Kṛṣṇa, but only for an instant. He appeared before Me and then, like lightning, immediately disappeared.”
CC Antya 14.79 — Just then, everyone heard the blowing of the conchshell at the Jagannātha temple. Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu immediately took His bath and went to see Lord Jagannātha.
CC Antya 14.80 — Thus I have described the uncommon transformations of the body of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. When people hear about this, they are very much astonished.
CC Antya 14.81 — No one has witnessed such bodily changes elsewhere, nor has anyone read of them in the revealed scriptures. Yet Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, the supreme sannyāsī, exhibited these ecstatic symptoms.
CC Antya 14.82 — These ecstasies are not described in the śāstras, and they are inconceivable to common men. Therefore people in general do not believe in them.
CC Antya 14.83 — Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī lived continuously with Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. I am simply recording whatever I have heard from him. Although common men do not believe in these pastimes, I believe in them totally.
CC Antya 14.84 — One day, while Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was going to the sea to bathe, He suddenly saw a sand dune named Caṭaka-parvata.
CC Antya 14.85 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu mistook the sand dune for Govardhana Hill and ran toward it.
CC Antya 14.86 — “[Lord Caitanya said:] ‘Of all the devotees, this Govardhana Hill is the best! O my friends, this hill supplies Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, as well as Their calves, cows and cowherd friends, with all kinds of necessities — water for drinking, very soft grass, caves, fruits, flowers and vegetables. In this way the hill offers respect to the Lord. Being touched by the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, Govardhana Hill appears very jubilant.’ ”
CC Antya 14.87 — Reciting this verse, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu ran toward the sand dune as fast as the wind. Govinda ran after Him, but he could not approach Him.
CC Antya 14.88 — First one devotee shouted loudly, and then a tumultuous uproar arose as all the devotees stood up and began to run after the Lord.
CC Antya 14.89 — Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī, Jagadānanda Paṇḍita, Gadādhara Paṇḍita, Rāmāi, Nandāi and Śaṅkara Paṇḍita are some of the devotees who ran after Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
CC Antya 14.90 — Paramānanda Purī and Brahmānanda Bhāratī also went toward the beach, and Bhagavān Ācārya, who was lame, followed them very slowly.
CC Antya 14.91 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was running with the speed of the wind, but He suddenly became stunned in ecstasy and lost all strength to proceed further.
CC Antya 14.92 — The flesh at each of His pores erupted like pimples, and His bodily hairs, standing on end, appeared like kadamba flowers.
CC Antya 14.93 — Blood and perspiration flowed incessantly from every pore of His body, and He could not speak a word but simply produced a gargling sound within His throat.
CC Antya 14.94 — The Lord’s eyes filled and overflowed with unlimited tears, like the Ganges and Yamunā meeting in the sea.
CC Antya 14.95 — His entire body faded to the color of a white conchshell, and then He began to quiver like the waves in the ocean.
CC Antya 14.96 — While quivering in this way, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu fell down on the ground. Then Govinda approached Him.
CC Antya 14.97 — Govinda sprinkled water from a karaṅga waterpot all over the Lord’s body, and then, taking His own outer garment, he began to fan Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
CC Antya 14.98 — When Svarūpa Dāmodara and the other devotees reached the spot and saw the condition of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, they began to cry.
CC Antya 14.99 — All eight kinds of transcendental transformations were visible in the Lord’s body. All the devotees were struck with wonder to see such a sight.
CC Antya 14.100 — The devotees loudly chanted the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra near Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and washed His body with cold water.
CC Antya 14.101 — After the devotees had been chanting for a long time, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu suddenly stood up and shouted, “Haribol!”
CC Antya 14.102 — When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu stood up, all the Vaiṣṇavas loudly chanted, “Hari! Hari!” in great jubilation. The auspicious sound filled the air in all directions.
CC Antya 14.103 — Astonished, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu stood up and began looking here and there, trying to see something. But He could not catch sight of it.
CC Antya 14.104 — When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu saw all the Vaiṣṇavas, He returned to partial external consciousness and spoke to Svarūpa Dāmodara.
CC Antya 14.105 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said, “Who has brought Me here from Govardhana Hill? I was seeing Lord Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes, but now I cannot see them.

Note : Lord Caitanya mistook a sand dune called Cataka Parvata next to Tota Gopinath temple in Jagannatha Puri to be Govardhana hill , so I always pay my obiasences to this sandune when in Jagannath Puri and poor sand from it on my head ,Lord Caitanya dug out Tota Gopinath to give to Gadadhara Pandit (who is Srimati Radharani Herself incarnated in Gaura lila )
CC Antya 14.106 — “Today I went from here to Govardhana Hill to find out if Kṛṣṇa was tending His cows there.
CC Antya 14.107 — “I saw Lord Kṛṣṇa climbing Govardhana Hill and playing His flute, surrounded on all sides by grazing cows.
CC Antya 14.108 — “Hearing the vibration of Kṛṣṇa’s flute, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī and all Her gopī friends came there to meet Him. They were all very nicely dressed.
CC Antya 14.109 — “When Kṛṣṇa and Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī entered a cave together, the other gopīs asked Me to pick some flowers.
CC Antya 14.110 — “Just then, all of you made a tumultuous sound and carried Me from there to this place.
CC Antya 14.111 — “Why have you brought Me here, causing Me unnecessary pain? I had a chance to see Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes, but I could not see them.”
CC Antya 14.112 — Saying this, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu began to weep. When all the Vaiṣṇavas saw the Lord’s condition, they also wept.
CC Antya 14.113 — At that time, Paramānanda Purī and Brahmānanda Bhāratī arrived. Seeing them, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu became somewhat respectful.
CC Antya 14.114 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu returned to complete external consciousness and immediately offered prayers to them. Then these two elderly gentlemen both embraced the Lord with loving affection.
CC Antya 14.115 — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said to Purī Gosvāmī and Brahmānanda Bhāratī, “Why have the two of you come so far?”
CC Antya 14.116 — When He heard this, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu felt somewhat ashamed. Then He went to bathe in the sea with all the Vaiṣṇavas.
CC Antya 14.117 — After bathing in the sea, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu returned to His residence with all the devotees. Then they all lunched on the remnants of food offered to Lord Jagannātha.
CC Antya 14.118 — Thus I have described the transcendental ecstatic emotions of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Even Lord Brahmā cannot describe their influence.
CC Antya 14.119 — In his book Gaurāṅga-stava-kalpavṛkṣa, Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī has very vividly described Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s pastime of running toward the Caṭaka-parvata sand dune.

note : Gauranga Stava Kalpa Vriksa is part of Srila Raghunath das Goswamis book Stavavali advanced vaisnavas should know and study not only Gauranga Kalpa Vriksa and chant minimum 64 rounds daily of the Hare Krsna Mahamantra they should also read Stavavali of Srila Raghunath das Goswami and Srila Rupa Goswamis Stavamala and learn these 2 books under the direction of the bonafide Guru, that will never chant less than 64 rounds daily as all real Gaura bhaktas will never obey Lord Caitanyas order to daily chant 64 rounds

(1) Whoever sees His gait and beautiful face enthusiastically spits on the grace of the most graceful elephant in rut and on the beauty of the moon. His complexion makes Him resemble a splendid golden mountain, and His words come from His lips like waves of nectar. That golden-limbed Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu rises within my heart and maddens me.

(2) As He danced before the Ratha-yatra chariot, Caitanya Mahaprabhu pleased Lord Jagannatha by decorating Himself with the nine jewels of the sattvika-bhava ecstasies, namely paleness, becoming stunned, stuttering, trembling, shedding tears, horripilation, laughing, perspiring, and dancing. That golden-limbed Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu rises within my heart and maddens me.

(3) Trembling as He danced before Lord Jagannatha’s chariot, Lord Caitanya staggered about in ecstasy, sprinkling everyone with water from the reddish syringes of His eyes and joyfully biting His charming lips with His teeth. That golden-limbed Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu rises within my heart and maddens me.

(4) Sometimes Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu would go to the house of Kasi Misra. There He would be greatly aggrieved, feeling separation from Krsna. The joints of His transcendental body would slacken, and His arms and legs would become elongated. Rolling on the ground, the Lord would cry out in distress in a faltering voice and weep very sorrowfully. The appearance of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, awakening in my heart, maddens me.*

(5) How wonderful it is! Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu left His residence without opening the three strongly bolted doors. Then He crossed over three high walls, and later, because of strong feelings of separation from Krsna, He fell down amidst the cows of the Tailanga district and retracted all the limbs of His body like a tortoise. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who appeared in that way, rises in my heart and maddens me. *

(6) Because of separation from His many friends in Vrndavana, who were like His own life, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu spoke like a madman. His intelligence was transformed. Day and night He rubbed His moonlike face against the walls, and blood flowed from the injuries. May that Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu rise in my heart and make me mad with love.*

(7) “My dear friend the doorkeeper, where is Krsna, the Lord of My heart? Kindly show Him to Me quickly.” With these words Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu addressed the doorkeeper like a madman. The doorkeeper grasped His hand and replied very hastily, “Come, see Your beloved!” May that Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu rise within my heart and thus make me mad also.*

(8) Near Jagannatha Puri was a great sand dune known as Cataka-parvata. Seeing that hill, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu said, “Oh, I shall go to the land of Vraja to see Govardhana Hill.” Then He began running madly to it, and all the Vaisnavas ran after Him. This scene awakens in my heart and maddens me.*

(9) During Dola-yatra, the swing festival of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna, Lord Caitanya stayed under a charming pavilion and sweetly and jubilantly sang the holy names in the company of Svarupa Damodara and His other intimate devotees. That golden-limbed Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu rises within my heart and maddens me.

(10) Lord Caitanya was as kind to Govinda dasa as Lord Narayana is to Garuda. He was as devoted to Isvara Puri as Lord Krsna was to His guru, Sandipani Muni, the best of acaryas. And He was as affectionate toward Svarupa Damodara Gosvami as Lord Giridhari was toward Subala. That golden-limbed Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu rises within my heart and maddens me.

(11) Although I am a fallen soul, the lowest of men, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu delivered me from the blazing forest fire of great material opulence by His mercy. He handed me over in great pleasure to Svarupa Damodara, His personal associate. The Lord also gave me the garland of gunja that He wore on His chest and a stone from Govardhana Hill, although they were very dear to Him. That same Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu awakens within my heart and makes me mad after Him.*

(12) This poem is like a celestial desire tree whose charming branches are its verses. Those branches appear very splendid because of the blossoming flowers of variegated expressions of ecstatic love for Lord Gauranga that grow there. If a person regularly waters this tree with lots of the water of careful and pure reading mixed with the powerful plant food of great faith, he will certainly be able to taste that tree’s heavy, nectarean fruit—the personal audience of Lord Gauranga.

CC Antya 14.120 — “Near Jagannātha Purī is a great sand dune known as Caṭaka-parvata. Seeing that hill, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said, ‘Oh, I shall go to the land of Vraja to see Govardhana Hill!’ Then He began running madly toward it, and all the Vaiṣṇavas ran after Him. This scene awakens in my heart and maddens me.”
Note : Actually one can not obtain Sri Krsna in Vraja without worshipping Govardhana hill every day and Srila Raghunath das Goswami has shown us how to worship Govardhana hill in his Stavavali and so has Srila Visvanath Chakravati Thakura in his Stavamrta lahari :

(1) May Govardhana Hill, which by Krsna's mercy became the king of all mountains and received the respectful tribute of its arch-enemy Indra, fulfill my desire.

(2) As it was held above the earth it became so filled with happiness by experiencing the softness of its beloved Krsna's lotus hand it did not even know it was being struck by Indra's thunderbolt. May Govardhana Hill fulfill my desire.

(3) Trying to collect a toll, Krsna quarreled there with King Vrsabhanu's daughter. The personified Vedas yearn to list to that quarrel. May Govardhana his fulfill my desire.

(4) Bathing in a nearby lake, the elephant of a pleasant breeze, covered with pollen of kadamba and other flowers, gracefully plays there. May Govardhana Hill fulfill my desire.

(5) Does the sweet fragrance of Govardhana come from the musk deer who relax there? From the Lord who plays there? Or is it Govardhana's own natural scent? May Govardhana Hill fulfill my desire.

(6) Searching there for Lord Hari on the path of His flute music, the astonished deer do not find Him. May Govardhana Hill fulfill my desire.

(7) As the Divine Couple traveled on the Ganges there the boat began to sink in the middle. Krsna was splendidly handsome as Radha clung to His neck. May Govardhana Hill fulfill my desire.

(8) Without taking shelter of the feet of the hill that is the best of Lord Hari's servants and full of love for the divine king and queen, how is it possible to attain pure devotional service? May Govardhana Hill fulfill my desire.

(9) May the reader of these eight verses glorifying Lord Hari's greatest servant, his heart melting with pure love, quickly attain direct service to the lotus feet of Sri Sri Radha-Madhava.
CC Antya 14.121 — Who can properly describe all the uncommon pastimes of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu? They are all simply His play.
CC Antya 14.122 — I have briefly described them just to give an indication of His transcendental pastimes. Nevertheless, anyone who hears this will certainly attain the shelter of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s lotus feet.
CC Antya 14.123 — Praying at the lotus feet of Śrī Rūpa and Śrī Raghunātha, always desiring their mercy, I, Kṛṣṇadāsa, narrate Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, following in their footsteps.

We must hold tightly to the lotusfeet of our Gurudeva and the Guruparampara and the bonafide vaisnavas and past acaryas we must also cry out for the mercy of Srila Rupa and Sanatana Goswami even though we are not their direct disciples this was also especially shown by Srila Narotama das Thakura in his songs such as :
Saparshada-bhagavad-viraha-janita-vilapa
Lamentation Due to Separation from the Lord and His Associates
(from Prarthana)

je anilo prema-dhana koruna pracur
heno prabhu kotha gela acarya-thakur

(2)
kaha mora swarup rupa kaha sanatan
kaha dasa raghunatha patita-pavan

(3)
kaha mora bhatta-juga kaha kaviraj
eka-kale kotha gela gora nata-raj

(4)
pashane kutibo matha anale pasibo
gauranga gunera nidhi kotha gele pabo

(5)
se-saba sangira sange je koilo bilas
se-sanga na paiya kande narottama das

Translation:

(1) He who brought the treasure of divine love and who was filled with compassion and mercy—where has such
a personality as Srila Adviata Acarya gone? (not Srinivasa Acarya that was a mistake inserted by Acyutananda an early disciple of Srila Prabhupada )

(2) Where are my Svarupa Damodara and Rupa Gosvami? Where is Sanatana? Where is Raghunatha dasa,
the savior of the fallen?

(3) Where are my Raghunatha Bhatta and Gopala Bhatta, and where is Krishnadasa Kaviraja? Where did
Lord Gauranga, the great dancer, suddenly go?

(4) I will smash my head against the rock and enter into the fire. Where will I find Lord Gauranga, the reservoir
of all wonderful qualities?

(5) Being unable to obtain the association of Lord Gauranga accompanied by all of these devotees in
whose association He performed His pastimes, Narottama dasa simply weeps.
Srila Narottama das Thakura has shown us to feel seperation for Lord Caitanyas associates as well as for Lord Gauranga Himself ,these feelings should come in our heart thus these sungs are not for mechanical singing but for entering the real mood of these bhajans
I hope reading this chapter with these small notes and also all of Srila Prabhupadas purports that I have no included here will give pleasure to the devotees of Lord Caitanya, Srila Prabhupada mercifully has given us this Sri Caitanya Caritamrta translation and I offer my humble obaisences in great devotion at srila Prabhupadas lotusfeet ,I am simply sharing my study of Srila Prabhupadas books and hope no one will find mistakes in doing so .

I meant to look up who is Brahmananda Bharati in Krsna lila in Gaura Ganodessa Dipika I will share my research later ..and who is Brahmananda Puri in Krsna lila all the associates of Lord Caitanya are special like we can read in Gauranga Duti pada
my pranams to all vaisnavas and to my Gurudeva who carefully overlook any mistakes on my part and carefully study this ,I pray to Lord Narasimha He may bless me with the touch of His lotushand just like He blessed Sri Prahlada Maharaja .
