Lord Caitanya and Nityananda Prabhus have come to give us the holy name: Lord Nityananda Prabhu was distributing the Hare Krsna Mahamantra everywhere as Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has explained in his Bhajan ,Nityananda Mahajana, for the prize of ones faith, one attaines the lotusfeet of Sri Nama Prabhu ,that is the names of Radha Krsna, and nondifferent from Radha Krsna. Strong faith in the holy names is needed and what is this amount asked by Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda Prabhus?, To chant daily minimum 64 rounds avoiding all offences and seeing Krsna as ones life and soul. Yes Srila Prabhupada gave a minimum 16 rounds, for his struggling disciples, but to fully get the mercy of Lord Nityananda and Gauranga we must have full faith in the holy names and chant as they have directed and as our acaryas have: http://nimaipandit.ning.com/profiles/blog/show?id=4087284:BlogPost:... As preachers in KC we have to individually and collectively increase our faith in Sri Nama Prabhu, at least encourage devotee to maintain their minimum 16 rounds, and there is many devotees struggling to chant their 16 rounds they should be shown compassion to help them increase to again at least chant 16.I know of disciples of Srila Prabhupada that do not chant hardly anything or one devotee told me he chants 4 rounds daily, this is not good, they come and give Vyasapuja offerings to Srila Prabhupada once a year, and do not even chant 16 rounds and in some cases do not strictly follow the no illicit sex principle. Managers and Gurus, sannyasis and GBC's found not to chant 16 rounds should step down...I have also mentioned this before sannyasis found engaging in sinful activities should remove the sannyasa dress as they will simply cause a disturbance. The best way to get the mercy of Nitai Gaura besides chanting 64 rounds without offences is to preach pure KC and live in accordance with Srila Prabhupadas teachings .Especially by also distributing Srila Prabhupadas books we become very dear to Srila Prabhupada Nitai Gaura,and by doing Harinama sankirtana and distributing the Mahaprasadam of Nitai Gaura. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada is said to have read the CC 108 times, which shows we should take this book very serious. And finally the appearance of Nitai Gaura is to be observed at least as ekadasi fasting, on Nityananda Prabhus apperance day many fast till noon, though He is superior in tattva than even Lord Narasimha and Lord Ramachandra for whom we do all days fast. So best is to break in the evening with anukalp prasadam (ekadasi prasadam) .Personally I prefere Nirjala for Lord Nityananda Prabhus appearance and Gaura Purnima this was the standard of our acaryas and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada, they have shown us by their example.
