seeing through the eyes of scriptures

One elderly gentleman from South Korea is taking interest in Bhagavad Gita as it is and in ISKCON, due to my facebook page.I have encouraged him to take this knowledge serious and try to kindly  learn this knowledge and help spread it to his countrymen.    One thought that came to mind was about how Koreans respect their elders: In Tae kwondo I learned the 10 commandments of this ancient martial art:   1.  Be loyal to your country. 2.  Be a good son or daughter to your parents. 3.  Be faithful to your spouse. 4.  Be on good terms with your brothers and sisters. 5.  Be loyal to your friends. 6.  Be respectful of your elders. 7.  Respect and trust your teachers. 8.  Use good judgement before killing any living thing. 9.  Never retreat in battle. 10.  Always finish what you start.

Korea has the tradition of very much honoring the elderly and parents , uncles etc.We find this also in India and of course it exist in many and most cultures.

Now in Bhagavad Gita we see the whole dilemma of Arjuna having to deal with "elders" or seniors that act improperly. Today one person said lets just forgive all aspiring devotees for everything and anything like in Gita 9.30.. but the fact is this ,sometimes if someone acts like a criminal it is not time for BG 9.30 but to simply call the police,911.

Not BG 9.30 just 911. So yes even if an old Prabhupada disciple is a childmolester, call 911
