more considerations about gas drilling in New Vrindavan

One devotee wrote about the gas drilling in New Vrindavan:
Yes, oil-drilling is actually blood-letting of Mother Earth, and gas-drilling is suffocating Her...so demoniac!
My comment:
vaisnavas pray to mother Earth for forgiveness to step on her,
samudra-mekhale devi
parvata-stana-mandale
visnu-patni namas tubhyam
pada-sparsam ksamasva me
O Bhumi! You are girdled by the oceans and the mountains are your breasts. O wife of Vishnu, I offer you my salutations. Forgive me for treading on you.
and they are drilling for gas on the property of Radha Vrindavanchandra?
the Artharva veda says::" In pursuit of money,man descends to the level of beast .Money is of the nature of manure .Pilled up it pollutes the air"
One mataji wrote me:
We talked to Varsana Swami and Balabhadra das about the drilling in NV, and yes it is demoniac, but all their neighbors are doing it, so the whole ridge will be polluted anyway, so the NV committee decided to do it and use the money for preaching, Plus the devotees held out longer than their neighbors, so they were in a position to negotiate a good contract with the drillers--getting the temple as much environmental protection as possible and the highest paying contract in the area. the devotees also got good legal counsel on this.

well thank you for your comment, because my neighbor is a demon I do not have to become one also

and using the money for preaching, yes that I strongly doubt, someone is likely profiting ,and in any case most displeasing to Srila Prabhupada and Krsna.And contradicts the purpose of New Vrindavana and for that matter any KC rural community.Our integrity should not be for sale
New Vrindavan belongs to Krsna, this has clearly been forgotten
Is every single penny going to be used for printing Srila Prabhupadas books? Of course not, even that would not justify this gas drilling.
