It has caused me much distress that some persons falsely claims Lord Narasima did not appear at Ahovalam it is simply their ignorance.See also http://www.vegetarian-restaurants.net/India-Guide/IndianStates/Andh....
There is nine main forms of Lord Narasimha at Ahovalam
(1) Prahlada-varada Narasimha or Lakshmi Narasimha, (2) Chatravata Narasimha, (3) Yogananda Narasimha, (4) Karanda Narasimha, (5) Krodha Narasimha, (6) Guha Narasimha, (7) Jwala Narasimha, (8) Malola Narasimha, and (9) Pavana Narasimha

Lord Ramachandra went to Ahovalam
(see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTlPJKg35j8) and worshipped Lord Narasimha there,He recited a prayer to Lord Narasimha ,
Sri Nrsimha Panchamruta
, Lord Balarama and later both Nityananda Prabhu and Lord Caitanya
all went to Ahovalam, this place is confirmed by Sri Ramanujacarya and all the Alvars.Why would anyone ignorantly have doubts about Ahovalam unless they are to sinful to accept this? Kindly help spread this knowledge about Lord Narasimha and His holy place of apperance and lilas at Ahovalam, all glories to all devotees of Lord Narasimha, who in Kali yuga has appeared as Gaurasimha:
One great Vaisnava as sung:
3. taruna aruna-yuga locana dagamaga
abirala bipula pulaka-kula saji
garajata saghana simha jini bikrama
bali kali-kala bipula bhaye bhaji
3. The new red lotus flowers of His eyes always overfloww with tears of ecstatic spiritual love. he hairs of His body stand erect. Eclipsing the lions’ prowess, He roars. Frightened, the powerful age of Kali flees.

In the Narasimha Purana we find this quote:
nrisimha-purane

satye daitya-kuladhi-nasa-samaye simhordhva-martyakritis
tretayam dasa-kandharam paribhavan rameti namakritih
gopalan paripalayan vraja-pure bharam haran dvapare
gaurangah priya-kirtanah kali-yuge chaitanya-nama prabhuh

In the Nrisimha Purana it is said:

"The Supreme Personality of Godhead, who appeared in Satya-yuga as Lord Nrisimhadeva in the form of half-man and half-lion to destroy Hiranyakasipu, the king of the demons, and who appeared in Treta-yuga as Lord Ramacandra to kill the great ten-headed demon Ravana, and who appeared in the Dvapara-yuga for protecting and maintaining the cowherd men and women of Vrindavana and removing the burden of the earth, will appear again in the Kali-yuga in a golden form. He will fully relish the chanting of His own holy names and His name will be Lord Gauranga."

PS Lord Narasimha also washed His lotushands at Ahovalam not in Narasimha palli in Navadvipa (there He took full bath and rested,so it is even greater than Rakta Kunda )

I humbly beg anyone with doubts about Ahovalam to give up this ignorance and preach the proper thing that Lord Narasimha appeared at Ahovalam and washed His lotushands at Rakta kunda,and kindly help remove the doubts of others in these matters for those vaisnavas who have no such ignorant doubts.My pranams at your lotusfeet.
