ISKCON and the Kartabhaja influence

Of the 3 Guru sastra and Sadhu ..sastra is most important Srila Prabhupada explains this also:

"One should accept a thing as genuine by studying the words of saintly people, the spiritual master and sastra. The actual center is sastra, the revealed scripture. If a spiritual master does not speak according to revealed scripture, he is not to be accepted. Similarly, if a saintly person does not speak according to the sastra, he is not a saintly person. Sastra is the center for all." (Caitanya-caritamrta, Madhya 20.352, purport)

The Kartabhaja influence is prominent sometimes in ISKCON where someone will only refere to their Guru and Srila Prabhuapda and not to sastra.
Kartabhaja referes to when the Guru is seen as God.

This is a serious philosophical deviation, Guru and sadhu can be wrong but never sastra.Mostly Guru sastra and Sadhu are one but if there is doubts between the 3 sastra is the ultimate authority.
