You asked me to send you something about the worship of Govardhana ,the main thing is like in Salagrama Sila worship one can not eat anything before doing the puja and it should latest be done by noon.I send you the link http://nimaipandit.ning.com/profiles/blogs/yugala-kisora-govardhana... ,where I have explained some of my experience with worship of Giriraja .A Gunja Mala should always be offered and Giriraja like sandesh according to Lord Caitanya, who is Radha Krsna combined, so He is the greatest authority on

worship of Giriraja.When Mahaprabhu gave His own Giriraja Sila to Raghunath das Goswami He ordered him to offer 8 manjaris and sandesh/and/ or Gaja /.( it is in the CC)

The real worship of Giriraja is done in seperation of Radha Krsna, in other words this worship is very exalted and I do not know anyone that is on that level, at least it should be on the level of proper vaidhi best is if one is worshipping with ragamarg, that starts with strictly chanting 64 rounds daily and also meditating of books such as Stavavali and Stava mala,Krsna Karnamrta etc.For most of us neophytes to read Krsna book and chant Hare Krishna with as much love as we can muster from our hearts will please Giriraja.I think it is wonderful Krsna has arranged you will have both Giriraja and Gopal at ISKCON New York, it will surely enhance the worship of Radha Govinda that I know you do expertly.

What more can I say Prabhu, I wish I could be of some service to the lotusfeet of Radha Govinda,I miss them very much,I pray they may remember any little service I rendered them in the past while serving there in NYC,and eternally bless me.Oh one thing I like to add if you can somehow get Jasmine flowers for Giriraja ,I know He loves those and lotusflowers on occasions .For winter, the best oil is saffron,spring is Rose and summer Kush or Jasmine or both and autumn,( kartika) Kadambha oil.
