seeing through the eyes of scriptures

Dear Basu Ghosh Prabhu
dandavat pranams
All glories to Srila Prabhupada
Yes I was not pleased Bhakti Vikasa Swami asked me to take reinitiation from him, he joined KC, 4years before me.
Glad they distribute books nicely in Salem South India, this bookdistribution is the duty of all in ISKCON, my relationship
with any vaisnava in ISKCON is based on how much they take this bookdistribution seriously and develop in KC.
I know you do many nice things in ISKCON Baroda ,I once more would humbly advise you not to serve grains on Janmastami
as it brakes all rules of sastra. I pray the distribution of Srila PRabhupadas books will incrase more and more in Gujarat.
WIthout bookdistribution and Harinama , done by all members in ISKCON.ISKCON will not reach the aspiration Srila PRabhupada desired.
I know you had a close relationship with Bhakti Pramod Puri  , he was always concerned we keep ISKCON the way Srila PRabhupada wanted it.
The more ISKCON as it is according to Srila PRabhupadas instructions the more we can preach pure KC.I hope to see you some time again.
You remember my advise that all ISKCON Gurus and sannaysis  chant 64 rounds daily and avoid Nama aparadha, this advise still stands
as it will protect these "leaders" from embarrasing  Srila Prabhupada and ISKCON.It is not ONLY my advise but that of Lord Caitanya and Srila Prabhupada and
all acaryas.
I have 2 GBC proposals:
Lets all chant Hare Krishna and be happy ! lots of it!
this is the bare minimum for being in ISKCON:
Now you must all carefully follow these four regulative principles (1) No meat eating, (2) No illicit sex life, (3) No intoxication, (4) No gambling. Always be sure to chant minimum sixteen rounds daily. Study my books carefully, go for sankirtana and engage in Deity worship in the temple. You are all very sincere boys and girls and now I request you to make your life successful for going back to home, back to Godhead
“Therefore we have created these GBC. So they should be very responsible men. Otherwise, they will be punished. They will be punished to become a sudra. Although Yamaraja is a GBC, but he made a little mistake. He was punished to become a sudra. So those who are GBC’s, they should be very, very careful to administer the business of ISKCON. Otherwise they will be punished. As the post is very great, similarly, the punishment is also very great.”
(Srila Prabhupada Lecture, June 4th, 1974)
“I made the GBC to give me relief, but if you do like this, then where is the relief. It is anxiety for me. This is the difficulty, that as soon as one gets power, he becomes whimsical and spoils everything.” (Srila Prabhupada Letter, September 12th, 1974 )
“Now has the GBC become more than Guru Maharaja? As if simply GBC is meant for looking after pounds, shilling, pence. The GBC does not look after spiritual life. That is a defect.”
(Srila Prabhupada Letter, November 10th, 1975)
“I am training some of my experienced disciples how to manage after my departure. So if instead of taking the training, if in my lifetime you people say I am the Lord of all I survey, that is dangerous conspiracy.” (Srila Prabhupada Letter, October 8th, 1974)

Sridhara Swamis commentary to Bhagavad Gita 12 chapter

The characteristics of Lord Krishna's devotees which quickly lead to divine grace are now being elucidated in seven verses beginning with advesta-sarva- bhutanam meaning devoid of malice towards anyone, is non-envious of anyone and benevolent towards everyone, free from concepts of possessiveness and ideas of ego consciousness as well as free from false identification of being the physical body, compassionate to the unfortunate, always forgiving, content and cheerful with loss or gain, tolerant, equipoise in happiness or distress, satisfied with what comes by its own accord, firmly resolved in the teachings of the spiritual master about the Supreme Lord, one is contemplative and dedicating their mind, intellect and heart to the Supreme Lord Krishna is very dear to Him.
