Did Lord Narasimha feed Prahlada Maharaja with His own hands and book changes !
I am not sure how correct this is of Lord Narasimha feeding Prahlada Maharaja is,But what I have been told is when Hiranyakasipu tried to starve Prahlada Maharaja ,then He send Laxmidevi to personally feed Prahlada, However I could not find it in the Puranas I investigaged.But I have not read all the 18 Mahapuranas and 18 Upa Puranas , mainly I have just read Srimad Bhagavatam , and Visnu Purana about Lord Narasimha and the Upa Purana I have mentioned in my book Sri Narasimha is Narasimha Purana .I think in order to get a full picture of Lord Narasimhadev a full research has to be done of all the Mahapuranas and upa Puranas ,Srila Sanatana Goswami has included any things in Haribhakti Vilasa and in Brhad Bhagavatamrta , what ever is in these books I have included in my book Sri Narasimha to highlight and explain these statements.Thus my book is the only full research on Lord Narasimha I have even seen from the books of our acaryas .I think anyone who is a sincere Narasimha bhakta will benefit highly from reading my book Sri Narasimha .What I have written and composed in a deep study of Lord Narasimha .Much more can be said and other books can be written about Lord Narasimha .But my book really covers the main frame work to understand Lord Narasimha.But as pointed out by Srila Rupa and Srila Sanatana Goswamis is that Lord Narasimhadevas pastimes are unlimited.Their focus is of course to describe Lord Sri Krsna as they beautifully did in their books.So they have just left their remnants of mercy that I could pick up on and try to help expand the understanding into the unlimited glories of Lord Narasimha.According to Ccaitanya Bhagavata, Lord Caitanya was especially absorbed in hearing about Prahlada Maharaja from the 7th canto and He would hear about Prahlada Narasimha thousands of times from the lotuslips of His own beloved Gadadhara Pandit, who is non different from Sri Radha .If any devotees have such pastime from any Puranas kindly come forward with it .Jananivas Prabhu from Mayapure told me Lord Narasimha once manifested from the Horizon , and that is supposed to be mentioned in the Padma Purana .But I went through parts of the Padma Purana and could not find it .So these 2 things and many other details I could not find I have not included in my book Sri Narasimha. That is why I am doing much more research about Lord Narasimha from the various Puranas . In Brhad Brhadbhagavatamrta ,Prahlada Maharaja states that my dear Gurudeva Narada Muni you glorify me, but please consider that Lord Narasimha did not give me much of His association wheras Hanuman is more fortunate he could serve Lord Ramachandra for thousands of years.However Lord Caitanya pointed out the fortune of Prahlada Maharaja and Dhurva Maharaja who even as small children surrendered to Lord Narasimha and Lord Narayana in such a powerful way and Lord Caitanya would hear those parts of Srimad Bhagavatam from Sri Gadadhara Sri Caitanya Bhagavata
I was told according to Sri Vaisnavas that Sri Laxmidevi personally once fed Prahlada Maharaja and all those Hiranyakasipu had imprisoned for worshipping Lord Narasimha ,Lord Narayana and Lord Krsna ,however I went though so many Puranas I possibly could
to find out where it was from in the future I will meet some Sri Vaisnavas at Simhacalam where the Sri Vaisnava Brahmins gave me a lot of association and shared many things with ,they where so kind to even invite me to stay with them ,the glories of Sri Sri Varaha Narasimha mentioned in my book Sri Narasimha is revealed all by their mercy I hope you have all read the glories of Simhacalam otherwise shame on you all .However Lord Narasimha would not feed Sri Prahlada Maharaja with His left hand, we have to understand that Hanumans relationship with Lord Ramachandra is very different from Prahlada Maharajas relationship with Lord Narasimhas to compare two different devotees is like comparing oranges to apples , they have different indivualities and devotion,Sri Prahlada Maharaja became Sri Haridas Thakura in Kali yuga and was constantly chanting hare Krsna and never distracted by Maya he chanted 192 rounds daily Srila Narayana Maharaja mentioned to in one of his books that Lord Narasimha appeared as half cat and half lion , I asked him and he said he read it in the commentaries of the acaryas , so I researched and found out that indeed such a form exist Lord Bidal Narasimha , so I have described Bidal Narasimha in my book Sri Narasimha ,but where in the Puranas is there more information about Lord Bidal Narasimha, there is in regional Purana called Sthala Purana there, but I have not read it seen it,For example there is Ahovalam Mahatmya that describes Ahovalam but I was never fortunate to get a got copy of it but what I have in my book Sri Narasimha about Ahovalam is from that book , also the glories of Simhacalam and Mangala Giri was hidden from the world so I have brought those out for the benefit of the world wide devotees of Lord Narasimha, I will advise all devotees to visit these 3 places Simhacalam , Mangala Giri and Ahovalam, they where visited by Lord Ramachandra, Lord Balarama, and Lord Caitanya to show the importance to these 3 holy places related to Lord Narasimha, may Lord Narasimha protect us all and guide us back home to Godhead ,I also read on Dandavats Lord Narasimha supposedly appeared during the month Purusottama Mass but not sure where that is from and if that is true or not ,Lord
Narasimha appeared in the month of Vaisakha that is even confirmed in His 108 holy names that is in May but Purusottama month never fell that early as May to my understanding so unless things are supported by sastra how can we support it so easy.During Srila Prabhupadas times ,Jayadvaita Brahmacari strongly doubted Ahovalam is where Lord Narasimha appeared Srila Prabhupada had mentioned it many times, but still he did not accept ,so Srila Prabhupada said ok you may believe of not , but Lord Narasimha is everywhere.As a devotee of Lord Narasimha the doubt of Jayadvaita Brahmacari now Swami really made me angry, because of course Srila Prabhupada was right and Ahovalam is confirmed in many places as the appearance of Lord Narasimha.One time Harisauri Prabhu questioend wether Lord Ramachandra appeared at Sri Lanka he read his godbrother Shyamasudaras article that Lord Ramachandra did not go to modern Sri Lanka but to another place ,this is of course insane and I asked Harisauri why have you not faith in Srila Prabhupada ?Srila Prabhupada mentiones in Caitanya Caritamrta that Sri Lanka is the place where Lord Ramachandra killed Ravana.So if we simply stick to Srila Prabhupada such things will be understood.Jadurani doubted Srila Prabhupada that Lord Kalki will appear at the end of this Kali yuga, but it is there all over Srimad Bhagavatam and in Srila Prabhupadas books.This is why the books should not be changed to suit the doubts of Srila Prabhupadas own disciples .It is not allowed,this is how Srila Prabhupadas books will become more and more destroyed by stupid interpolations and mental speculations .In the future other generations will project their false egos and misconceptions into Srila Prabhupadas books and interpolate it is very common in Kali yuga but changing even a comma of the books of the previous acaryas should never be done,Srila Prabhupada also explained this when BBT published Brahma Samhita with commentaries of his Guru Maharaja do not change one word.
