In 1989 when arriving in Vrindavana , BB Govinda Maharaja (then Ayodhyapati Prabhu ) asked me to go meet with

Buddhimanta Prabhu who was leaving his body .

On Lord Nityananda Prabhus appearance day, he went to the roof of the Gurukula building and borrowed some sannyasi cloth that was hanging for drying, and he borrowed a danda.

Then he went in front of Krsna Balarama mandir and collected laxmi for the feast of Lord Nityananda Prabhu the following day and he collected a lot as all devotees and visitors gladly gave to this effulgent " sannyasi for the day".

He was so eager to serve Srila Prabhupada despite whatever happened to him in his life, and he was eager to serve Nitai Gauras sankirtana mission.

He kept a small framed vers that had a statement from Mathura Mahatmya: "That even a fly, or tree or any living creature that leaves his body in Vrindavana attains to the abode of Krsna"

He knew he was going to leave his body due to his incurable cancer.

I went to met him every day I was in Vrindavana so he would not feel lonely and tried to read from the Krsna book for him and discuss about bookdistribution. Sharing my experiences and he shared his...

He told me how they went to Japan (he and Gurukrpa Prabhu and others and helped collect for the  construction of Krsna Balarama temple by selling BTG's )

Buddhimanta Prabhu left his body in February of 1990 in Vrindavana..
