Barbarika got his body back at the end of the Mahabharara war on Kuruksetra

Barbarika got his body back at the end of the Mahabharara war on Kuruksetra ,Sri Krsna called for Goddess Kamyaka to bring his body and then his body and head was united. Before that the Pandavas headed by Srila Vyasadeva asked Barbarika what did you see , since Lord Krsna has given you perfect vision ? Who was the real heroes? Barbarika said everyone was a hero but behind it all was Sri Krsna with His Surdarshan Chakra He was the real doer behind the battle of Kuruksetra
Towards the finish of the fight, the triumphant Pandava siblings contended among themselves with respect to who was in charge of the triumph. Krishna suggested that Barbarika’s head, which had viewed the entire fight shall pass judgment.
Barbarika’s head recommended that it was Krishna alone who was in charge of the triumph. Barbarika answered, “Everything I could see was two things. One, a perfect chakra turning all around the front line, executing every one of the individuals who were not in favor of Dharma.
Barbarika’s head recommended that it was Krishna alone who was in charge of the triumph. Barbarika answered, “Everything I could see was two things. One, a perfect chakra turning all around the front line, executing every one of the individuals who were not in favor of Dharma.
The other was the Draupadi who has taken her unique type of Goddess Mahakali, who spread out her tongue on the front line and devoured every one of the miscreants as her penance”.
The Pandavas understood that it was Their Supreme Master Lord Krsna who is also Narayana and Goddess Parvati (Mahakali) who really tidied up the world from Adharma, and the Pandavas were just the means and instruments

Sri Krsna has also stated : Chapter 3, Verse 28

Chapter 3, Verse 32
But those who, out of envy, disregard these teachings and do not practice them regularly, are to be considered bereft of all knowledge, befooled, and doomed to ignorance and bondage.
Lord Krsna called Barbarika a saint so did Srila Vyasadeva and the Pandavas and so to this day Saint Barbarika is worshipped in various places in India like in Rajastan .
So though Barbarika had even sacrified his own head to Sri Krsna he was never a looser, Bali Maharaja also surrendered everything to Sri Krsna, but Barbarika is not less than Bali Maharaja ,he offered his own head to Sri Krsna .Mahabharata mentioned that Saint Barbarika went to do Tapasya so in the future humans will never kill each other like this brothers fighting brothers. I have not see mentioned where Saint Barbarika did tapasya, Himalayas would seem the likely place as he was also very dear to Srila Vyasadeva ,but I have not seen this mentioned in Mahabharata and in the Puranas so far I searched .But for sure he was a great saint and devotee of Lord Krsna and though he was the grandson of the Pandavas they later treated him more like an immortal saint than a mere family member and they took advise from him before he left for his tapasya.I have this shared about Saint Barbarika and anyone who understands truely about his saintly vaisnava character will be eternally blessed by Lord Sri KrsnaMay be an image of Shankar V.
