In  January of 1980 I was burned out from all the hard tapasya and no brake,I went to a devotee friends house and stayed for a week, and then I went to Sweden, where I distributed books un till  after Janmastami .That year I got initiated, actually the same day Sri Sri Gandarvika Giridhari got installed I was the first devotee to receive my japa beads and spiritual name from Harikesa. Jaya Tirtha was present and was the main director of the installation.

We where distributing Srila Prabhupadas books in Dhoties, and on one occasion I was on the front page in a news paper in Northen Sweden.

We where distributing in minus 60 degrees Celsius in the winter of 1980 up in Kiruna ,Northern Sweden.

In Northern Sweden people where so friendly and the summer so beautiful.

I returned to Denmark  , where Devamrta Swami had now taken over the preaching , and we started book distribution  on bigger scale,soon we had a traveling party, of 4 of us.Kamsari , now Kesava Priya joined, then Adideva and PancaMukha .There was Dasavatar das from Eastern Germany, DDR at that time, Devamrta Swami and others had smuggled out of there.  We  did bookdistribution all over Denmark.I

was heading the lead in most books distributed every single week.  And culminating in a huge sankirtana marathon in December 1980.

Jayapataka Swami visited us that year also.Our temple was in Amager in Copenhagen. Harikesa greeted me when we returned from the Marathon:"Here comes a sankirtana Mahatma".
