My Dear Puri Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances. I am in due receipt of your letter dated on November 24, 1970. Perhaps you are my only Godbrother who has appreciated my humble service to the cause of Guru Gauranga. All my other Godbrothers are very much envious, as I can understand from their behavior.

In your letter dated November 10, 1970, you have written to say that I should inaugurate the installation ceremony. So I am very much obliged to you for your kind invitation, and my program will be as follows:

Tomorrow I am going to Indore; from Indore I shall come to Surat. From there I shall go to Gorakpur. From Gorakpur I shall go to Allahabad, and most probably from Allahabad I may go to Vrndavana.

So far as Mayapur is concerned, I do not think I shall be able to attend the Gaura Jayanti celebrations at there. The reason is that I have no place of my own, and certainly there will be too much crowd during the occasion. Therefore, I want to avoid this occasion. Sometimes after we may visit.

I shall go to your place from Vrndavana or from Allahabad, and we have to arrange in that way. We are thirty men and women all together. Whether you want us all to visit? Perhaps if we go from Vrindaban we shall have to take advantages of the Grand Trunk Express. Of course there is sufficient time now, and I shall be in regular correspondence with you on my tour, but I accept to visit all the places mentioned by you when I go by that side.

Srila Prabhupada had two godbrothers called Puri Maharaja this is Pūjyapāda Bhakti Vaibhava Purī Gosvāmī Mahārāja

Srila Prabhupada wrote too today is his Disapperance day in India yesterday here on the East coast of USA according to Vaisnava Calendar

He was born in a family of Doctors of Yayurveda that had a long history for hundreds of years helping people .He was a very dear disciple of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada and a dear Godbrother of our Srila Prabhupada

As mentioned in Prabhupada Lilamrta Srila Prabhupada visitied him in Visakhaptnam and Srila Prabhupada went also to the Simhacalam temple where Lord Varaha Narasimha is covered in Sandal wood since 4 million years only once a year the Sandalwood gets removed. Srila Prabhupada loved Bhaktivaibhava Puri Maharaja and when I met him first in 1986 at his temple in Visakhapatnam I could understand why ,, he is one of the most loving persons I ever met what to speak of being a pure Vaisnava ,I went to take darshan of Simhacalam because in 1985 I had been on Padayatra in SOuth India but did not get to visit Mangala Giri ,Simhacalam and Ahovalam .He was so very kind and loving and asked me to take prasadam when I offered him my obaisences,, he made sure I was served with such love ,the day I visited him where a few other devotees from ISKCON visiting him and we felt his great love and care for us . Later in 1993 I spend time at his temple in Vrindavana ,, they opened a temple next to Seva Kunja where Radha Krsna was installed and I was asked to lead the Kirtana for almost 3 hours chanting Hare Krsna,, I felt it was a great honor bestowed on me .

He had been visiting Srila Prabhupada in 1977 and offered to be with Srila Prabhupada till he left this world , but Srila Prabhupada said no you please go on with your preaching ,because Srila Prabhupada knew he had many important preaching missions while he was in UP .

Later I used to visit Maharaja when ever I was in Vrindavana and listen to him ,I learned many things from him ,one was the importance to fast fully for Radhastami that was taught by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada .He chanted minimum 64 rounds daily for many years since he joined Gaudiya Math that was a huge inspiration to me also ,as I always wanted to chant 64 rounds or more daily .He was a great devotee of Sri Yamuna devi and would love to sit at Yamuna and chant Japa and lecture there ,often explain the importance of Sri Yamunadevi chanting Yamuna Astakam etc.Once i was visiting his temple and taking of my shoes and he was standing on the stairs with his servant, unknowingly I had blocked him from passing as he came down the stairs ,I offered my obaisences and apologized I felt so guilty being in the way of a Pure devotee but he just patiently waited ,I could understand his great humility .I feel very forunate to have seen him heard from him and being in his association ,,I pray he asks Lord Caitanya and Sri Sri Radha Krsna to allow me into their association and there again I will meet HH Puri Maharaja , I was told he loves Krsna like Srila Prabhupada in the mood of a cowherd boy , I could not meet Srila Prabhupada physically but I for sure had association of his dear Godbrother
