29. Paying respects to others before the Deity.

The attention is to Lord Narasimhadevs lotusfeet not to yours !
One time now many years ago Harikesa and Bhakti Caru Swami where touching each others" lotusfeet" during Bhagavatam class in Mayapure sitting in front of Lord Narasimha. It realty made me furious how can you pay attention so another devotees feet in front of Lord Narasimha ? One sannyasi made Harikesa and Bhakti Caru Swami look at me because he could see how furious I was that they dared touch each others feet in front of Lord Ugra Narasimha. They looked at me and stopped,,,in front of Lord Narasimha, you only pay attention to His lotusfeet
Text 4 Pradya puspam Narasimha paduke pranamaya murdhna Narasimha paduke prapathya stotram Narasimha paduke prayami raksam Narasimha paduke
Offering a flower, bowing my head , and reciting prayers, I take shelter of Lord Nrsimha's lotusfeet.
Text 5 Nrsimha he he Narasimha pahi mam Nrsimha Prahlada prapala pahi mam itiva rodimi muhur muhur muhuh Nrsimhadevam saranam prayamy aham
"Nrsimha, Nrisimha! Save me ! Nrsimha! O protector of Prahlada! Save me! Crying out again and again and again, I take shelter of Lord Nrsimha."

In ISKCON Gurupuja is often done before the open Deities, but in Gaudiya Math that is not allowed
I recall when we used to worship Gurus in ISKCON , the Deties alter were closed .Srila Prabhupadas Gurupuja is done before the Deities, but as far I know Srila Prabhupada did not have his Guru Puja done in front of the open curtain of the Deities..maybe I am wrong? But in Gaudiya math it is forbidden to worship any Guru in front of Krsna
