Where Ekachakra got its name from !
When Krsna saw Arjuna was not going to kill Bhismadeva ,,Krsna broke His promise to protect Arjuna from Bhismadevs arrows and attacked Bhismadeva with the broken wheel from a chariot ,,Arjuna grapped Krsna to not kill Bhismadeva and brake His promise and Bhismadeva surrendered to Krsna,, my dear Krsna please kill me if you so please,, Krsna threw the Chakra from Kuruksetra and it landed in what is now known as Ekachakra, one wheel ,,this is how Ekachakra got its name ,,the Pandavas also stayed in Ekachakra and it is here Bhima killed the Raksasa Hidimba.In Kali Yuga Lord Nityananda Prabhu appeared here as the son of Padmavati and Hadai Pandit also known as Hadai Odja

In 1993 I went with Subhag Swami and some devotees from Mayapure to Ekachakra and I sponsored making prasadam for thousands of pilgrims there for Lord Nityananda Prabhus apperance day,, this was from some Laxmi I had inherited from my grandmother,, and I also donated a set of Caitanya Caritamrta in Bengali to the local school there,, back then there was no ISKCON temple ,,but I know we devotee prayed hard one day a temple of ISJKCON will come to Ekachakra ,,if you have never been there please visit Ekachakra at least once in your life https://thegaudiyatreasuresofbengal.com/.../sri.../

The sacred place where Lord Nityananda Prabhu appeared and performed many of His childhood pastimes ,,now with an ISKCON temple and guest house should be more easy ,,though I am not aware of the facilities they offer ,I am sure with some donation you can stay there comfortably for some days ,,I look uo Darshan from ISKCON themple there and it makes me so happy to see the local people chant and dance with our ISKCON devotees take prasadam and hear lectures ,,how merciful is Lord Nityananda Prabhu ,,that a temple of ISKCON was build there it is all His Mercy and the desire of His devotees in ISKCON
