Srila Prabhupada the name is more used than you think ! Who is the real Srila Prabhupada ?

His Divine Grace Mahāmaṇḍaleshwar Mahant Kṛṣṇa Balarām Swāmī Prabhupāda 

Srila Prabhupada only had one Vrijabasi disciple Krsna Balarama Swami that started his own society in Vraja and he goes under the name above he is also a Mahant.Now I am sure many in ISKCON will say wait a minute why is he Prabhupada ? Prabhupada refers to AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada ..now let me tell you a story I am sure you did not know

or you might have heard this ,Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada was also given the title Srila Prabhupada as he was the most prominent link to our Sampradaya and spread Gaudiya Vaisnavism all over India with 60.000 disciples Srila Sridhara Maharaja wrote Sri Prabhupada Stava Padma a prayer to Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada, when some of Srila Prabhupadas disciple heard this prayer they also wanted to call AC Bhaktivedanta Swami for Srila Prabhupada .Srila Narayana Maharaja told us how he went to see Srila Prabhupada and asked him about the use of the name Prabhupada.Srila Prabhupada with tearful eyes said when I hear Jaya Prabhupada I think of my Gurudeva, I am representing my Guru Maharaja so I have allowed my disciples to call me Srila Prabhupada.Srila Narayana Maharaja took this back to Gaudiya math and everyone accepted that he was really the bonafide representative of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada .Srila Bhakti Pramod Puri Maharaja also explained that in Bengal since hundreds of years many Gurus where known as Prabhupada ,so no one should be bend out of shape, follower of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada will always say the title of Srila Prabhupada truely belonged to Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada and in ISKCON we will say yes but also to our Srila Prabhupada ...I hope this helps in the fight over the title Prabhupada..I saw how Gopiprana dhana das in the issue about wether Sri Advaita Acarya had a beard or not called Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada for only Bhaktisiddhanta Thakura, I found that very disrespectful, he tried to make a point Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada was really wrong about Sri Advaita Acarya having a beard so that was an offence.Neither does the sloka in Caitanya Bhagavad say He had a beard but was holding His chin not beard and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada in this purport explained Sri Advaita acarya never had a beard , I have explained all this in my book Vaisnava Amrta I have included a pdf of Vaisnava Amrta

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada allowed the Prabhupada Stava Padma to be chanted daily in most Gaudiya Maths it is still chanted daily I chant it very often and like to chant it daily as I really pray for the full mercy of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada

madanarvuda-vandita-chandra-padam

His long, supple, golden form crushes the pride of golden lotus stems. His moon-like feet are worshipped by millions of Cupids. Eternally I offer my obeisance to them.

nija-sevaka-taraka-ranji-vidhum

vidhutahita-hunkrta-simha-varam

varanagata-balisa-sanda-padam

pranamami sada prabhupada-padam [4]

He is the moon that delights his star-like servants. His great, lion-like roar scares away the inimical. His feet bestow auspiciousness upon the simple who accept them. Eternally I offer my obeisance to my master’s feet.

vipulikrta-vaibhava-gaura-bhuvam

bhuvanesu vikirtita-gaura-dayam

dayaniya-ganarpita-gaura-padam

pranamami sada prabhupada-padam [5]

He reveals the divine glory of Sri Gaura Dham, propounds Sri Gaura’s celebrated grace throughout the world, and installs Sri Gaura within the hearts of the recipients of his grace. Eternally I offer my obeisance to my master’s feet.

chira-gaura-janasraya-visva-gurum

guru-gaura-kisoraka-dasya-param

paramadrta-bhaktivinoda-padam

pranamami sada prabhupada-padam [6]

He is the eternal shelter of the souls surrendered unto Sri Gaura and the Guru of the world. He is dedicated to the service of his Guru, Srila Gaura Kisor, and completely devoted to Srila Bhakti Vinod. Eternally I offer my obeisance to my master’s feet.

raghu-rupa-sanatana-kirtti-dharam

dharani-tala-kirttita-jiva-kavim

kaviraja-narottama-sakhya-padam

pranamami sada prabhupada-padam [7]

He expounds the glory of Sri Rupa, Sri Sanatan, and Sri Raghunath. In this world he is glorified as being nondifferent from Sri Jiva and a counterpart of Srila Krsnadas Kaviraj and Srila Narottam Thakur. Eternally I offer my obeisance to my master’s feet.

krpaya hari-kirtana-murti-dharam

dharani-bhara-haraka-gaura-janam

janakadhika-vatsala-snigdha-padam

pranamami sada prabhupada-padam [8]

He is the embodiment of Hari-kirtan. He mercifully relieves Mother Earth of the burden upon her. He is an associate of Sri Gaura, and more kind and affectionate than a father. Eternally I offer my obeisance to my master’s feet.

saranagata-kinkara-kalpa-tarum

taru-dhik-krta dhira vadanya varam

varadendra-ganarchita-divya-padam

pranamami sada prabhupada-padam [9]

He is a wish-fulfilling tree for the surrendered servants. His benevolence and tolerance shame even a tree’s. The demigods and sages worship his divine feet. Eternally I offer my obeisance to my master’s feet.

parahamsa-varam paramartha-patim

patitodharane krta-vesa-yatim

yati-raja-ganaih parisevya-padam

pranamami sada prabhupada-padam [10]

He is the best of the paramahamsas and the guardian of the supreme wealth (Krsna-prema). He accepted the robes of a sannyasi to deliver the fallen. His feet are served by the best of the sannyasis. Eternally I offer my obeisance to my master’s feet.

vrsabhanu-suta-dayitanucharam

charanasrita-renu-dharas tam aham

mahad-adbhuta-pavana-sakti-padam

pranamami sada prabhupada-padam [11]

He is Srimati Radharani’s beloved servant. I hold on my head the dust of his tremendous, wondrously purifying feet and eternally offer my obeisance to them.
