seeing through the eyes of scriptures

My dear devotee friends
Please accept my protrated obaisences at your lotusfeet
All glories to my beloved Gurudeva Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja
all glories to Srila Prabhupada who is our life and soul and who spread the glories of Lord Ramachandra all over the world;
Naveen Krsna Prabhu the head pujari at ISKCON Potomac asked me yesterday to write something about Lord Ramachandra ,so
I am sharing this nectar about service of Lord Ramachandra.
In his Prema Bhakti Chandrika Srila Narottama das Thakura has used Hanuman as an example of unalloyed bhakti.
16 apana bhajana-pantha taha habeanurata
ista-deva-sthane-lila-gane
naisthika bhajana ei tomare kahilabhai
hanuman tahate pramana
O brother, please become attached to your worshipable Lord alone. Serve Him without deviation and sing the glories of His pastimes. I will now quote the words of Hanuman, who demonstrates this exclusive devotion to one's worshipable Deity. Hanuman said:
17 srinathe janaki-nathe
abhedah paramatmani
tathapi mama sarvasvam
ramah kamala-locanah
Although He is not different from Lord Narayana, lotus-eyed Lord Rama alone is the be-all and end-all of my life.

At the temple in ISKCON Potomac they have posted this beautiful prayer above the Deities (without sanskrit)
This Prema Bhakti Chandrika of Srila Narottama das Thakura should be read millions of times along with Prarthana
I hope and pray in one life time all these teachings will manifest fully in my heart.
I was listening to the beautiful glorification of HH Mahanidhi Swami on the Caitanya Caritamrta: http://audio.iskcondesiretree.info/index.php?q=f&f=%2F02_-_ISKC...
And Maharaja has explained so nicely about the faith of Murari Gupta and his devotion for Lord Ramachandra.
Actually he is the incarnation of Hanuman.
In Gaura Ganodessa Dipika it is stated:
91. The devotee named Murari Gupta in Lord Caitanya's pastimes had previously been Hanuman. In the same way Sri Purandara had previously been Angadam and Govindananda had been Sugriva.
92. The devotee named Ramacandra Puri in Lord Caitanya's pastimes had previously been Vibhisana.
93. Lord Caitanya Himself did not accept that Ramacandra Puri was the incarnation of Vibhisana, but the Lord himself said that Ramacandra Puri was the empowered incarnation of Srimati Radharani's mother-in-law Jatila. This Ramacandra Puri restricted Lord Caitanya in His acceptance of alms. Rcika Muni's son Brahma Mahatapah, and Prahlada Maharaja combined to appear as Haridasa Thakur in Lord Caitanya's pastimes.

Mahanidhi Swami makes a comment that Murari Gupta might have been a cowhered boy in Vrindavana also according to some.
please also see. This appears to be a complete appasiddhanta as Murari Gupta showed the character of Hanuman being Hanuman.
However one time when Lord Caitanya called on Garuda ,Murari Gupta assumed the form of Garuda to carry Lord Caitanya. So Lord Caitanyas pastimes are unlimetedly deep beyond our mundane senses and mind.
His Holiness Bhakti Bhallabh Tirtha Maharaja has described many of the glories of Murari Gupta in his article:

My Gurudeva would always go and meet Bhaktivallabh Tirtha Maharaja when doing Navadvipa Parikrama, he resides in Navadvipa
Now please read the pastime how Lord Caitanya pees on Murari Guptas plate:

Nimai Spoils Murari’s Lunch
Adapted from Srila Lochan Das Thakur’s
Śrī Caitanya-maṅgala
Ādi-khaṇḍa, Bālya-līlā, texts 373-403
One day, the learned scholar and physician Murari Gupta visited Nabadwip, accompanied by his followers. While walking down the road, they were discussing yoga-sāstras. The young boy Nimai, walking directly behind Murari Gupta, began mimicking Murari’s way of speaking. Murari noticed this from the corner of his eyes but continued speaking to his followers.
Nimai and his friends then increased their mocking of Murari by exactly imitating both his walking style and hand-gestures. Finally, Murari became furious and rebuked Nimai, "Who says that this boy is well-behaved? I recognize him. He is the son of Jagannath Mishra. Everywhere I have heard his glories. His name is Nimai." Hearing his words, out of kindness to his devotee Murari Gupta, Lord Gaurahari became angry. Knitting his eyebrows, the eloquent young boy said, "When you take your meal I will teach you something." Bewildered by this oblique statement, Murari returned to his residence. He became absorbed in his domestic activities and forgot about the incident. At noon he sat down to peacefully take his meal.
Meanwhile, Viswambhar Hari clad himself in opulent garments, wrapped a sash around his waist, tied his hair in a triple topknot, and placed a string of tulasī beads and a strand of large pearls around his neck. He anointed his eyes with black kajjala, and decorated his body with glistening golden ornaments. Then, carrying lādus made of condensed milk in his hand, Viswambhar entered the house of the king of doctors and, with a thunderous voice, called out, "Murari!" Hearing that sound, Murari remembered what Nimai had said earlier. Feeling a bit surprised, Murari said, "What are you doing here?" Nimai replied, "Oh, don’t get up. It’s only I. Carry on with your meal."
As Murari Gupta became absorbed in eating, Nimai slowly moved closer. Then, suddenly, he began passing urine on Murari’s plate. "Ah! Ah! What are you doing? Shame, shame on you," Murari cried as he jumped up. Gaura Ray began clapping his hands and dancing. He gleefully said to Murari:"Giving up the path of bhakti, you have adopted the path of yoga and move about making funny gestures. Give up karma and jnana, and just worship Krishna with all your heart! Become a rasika-bhakta, expert in tasting transcendental bliss. One who is attached to material things can’t do kṛṣṇa-bhajana, and his consciousness remains low and impure.
"Lord Hari is supremely merciful. Not only does he possess all powers but he is the father of all souls and from him the eternal Brahman is manifested. He is the treasure and very life of the gopīs of Vrindavan. Why do you not dedicate your life to worshiping him?" After saying this, the golden jewel, Gaurahari, suddenly vanished. Murari Gupta couldn’t find him anywhere.
Again and again in his heart, Murari thought,"Sachi’s son is the Supreme Lord himself!" Thinking in this way, Murari Gupta hurriedly left his house. Due to being overwhelmed with joy, he couldn’t walk properly. Somehow he arrived at the house of Jagannath Mishra. There he found Jagannath Mishra and Sachidevi caressing, kissing, and speaking affectionately to their son Nimai. They told him, "You are the nectarean treasure of our lives. Whatever sufferings we experience, we forget all of them as soon as we gaze at the moon of your face."
Murari Gupta was overcome with bliss. Although Jagannath and Sachidevi welcomed him, Murari didn’t say a word. He only gazed at the beautiful face of Gaurachandra.
From his head to his feet, the hairs of his body stood erect. Streams of tears flowed from his eyes, drenching his body. His voice faltered, and his eyes reddened like the rising sun. He fell like a stick before Gauranga’s feet, again and again bowing before him. Acting as if he didn’t understand what Murari was doing, Viswambhar climbed up on his mother’s lap. Sachimata then spoke to the elder and respected Murari Gupta, "Murari, please bless our son. Did he do something to offend you? Everyone knows that you are one of the best doctors. Please tell me what offense our son has committed. Let any suffering come to us, but give us the blessing that our son may live forever." Speaking these words, Sachidevi and Jagannath humbly held Murari’s hand and bowed before him. Smiling, Murari Gupta said, "Your son Viswambhar is the master of the master of all the demigods. In the future, the boy that you are raising will reveal his true identity to you. You are the most fortunate parents in the world. Take care of him and protect him. Remember my words, your Viswambhar is actually the Supreme Lord." After saying this, Murari quickly left the house of Jagannath Mishra.
His heart bursting with bliss, Murari went to visit Adwaita Acharya, the universal teacher and reservoir of bhakti. Falling at his feet, Murari said, "You are the greatest devotee. You are a wish-fulfilling tree that can fulfill all desires. I just saw a most wonderful boy in the home of Jagannath Mishra. His name is Nimai Pandit Viswambhar. He is totally transcendental to this material world. Yet, he plays happily with his friends just like an ordinary boy."
Upon hearing this, Adwaita Acharya, the jewel among the brahmins, made a great roaring sound, while on every limb of his body his hairs stood erect. Adwaita said, "Murari, listen! This is a great secret. Nimai Pandit is the Supreme Lord, the reservoir of all rasas and the embodiment of transcendental beauty." Then Adwaita Acharya and Murari Gupta joyfully embraced and forgot everything.
Let us bow our respects in great devotion at the lotusfeet of Murari Gupta:
He has written a beautiful prayer to Lord Ramachandra :

TRANSLATION
1) Though His face is like a spotless moon, still it is further brightened by a shining crown of jewels. His earrings resemble Jupiter and Venus rising in the evening sky. I forever worship this Lord Sri Rama, guru of the three worlds.
2) When He awakens and opens His lotus eyes, their luster resembles the early rays of the rising sun. His teeth are enclosed by charming bimba fruit-red lips. His nose is shapely and graceful and seeing the beams of His beautiful smile, the white-rayed moon accepts defeat. I forever worship this Lord Sri Rama, guru of the three worlds.
3) The throat of the unborn Lord is like a three-ringed conch shell, and His form is soft as the lotus. He wears a shining necklace of pearls set in gold, and thus He resembles a water-laden cloud accompanied by lightning flashes and a flock of cranes. Such is Sri Rama, guru of the three worlds, whom I perpetually adore.
4) In Her upraised hand Sita Devi holds a thousand-petalled lotus flower, and Her five graceful fingers make it appear that the flower's hundred petals are covered by another five petals. I forever worship Rama, best of the Raghu dynasty, by whose side forever remains this Sita, whose radiance is like molten gold.
5) Before Rama stands his brother Laksmana, deeply attached to His elder brother's service, the most skilled of archers, his body brilliant golden, and enhanced by splendid ornaments. He is also known as Sesa, the all-accommodating abode of the worlds. I worship this Lord Sri Rama guru of the three worlds.
6) Like the nectar-rayed moon shining on the ocean of the Raghu dynasty, He slew the foremost among the man-eating demons, Marica and Subahu, thus protecting the sacrifice performed by the sage Visvamitra for the welfare of His ancestors. I worship this Lord Sri Rama, guru of the three worlds.
7) Slaying the raksasasKhara, Trisira, Kabandha, and their armies, He rendered safe the forest of Danda-kanana. By killing the monkey-king, Sugriva's enemy, Bali, He made alliance with him, I adore Sri Rama, best of the Raghu dynasty, the slayer of the ten-headed Ravana.
8) After breaking Siva's bow, He married Sita, daughter of Janaka-raja. Then on the path home, He defeated the mighty Parasurama, best of Bhrgu's line, bringing pleasure to Maharaja Dasaratha, His father. I forever worship this Lord Sri Rama, the foremost descendant of Kakutstha and guru of the three worlds.
I like to share some other nectar about Lord Ramachandra. This is from Navadvipa Bhava Taranga how Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura had darshan of Lord Ramachandra when he went to Modruma Dvipa in Navadvipa. This is from his Navadvipa Bhava Taranga:
110 This island of Modadruma is non different from the forest of Sri Bhandiravan in Braja. All the animals and birds are fully spiritual entities having the nature of pure goodness. In the branches of the trees sit cuckoos who incessantly sing the glories of Lord Gauranga, Sita and Rama.
111 Countless banyan trees spread out their shade-giving branches splendrously here in Bhandiravan and block out the rays of the sun. When will this wonderfully shady place, where Balarama and Krsna displayed their pastimes to the world, ever be visible to my eyes?
112 Wandering and wandering about, observing the glory of the forest, I will suddenly behold the cottage of Lord Sri Rama. Then will I see Rama Himself, the colour of fresh durva grass, dressed like a brahmacari and sitting in one place along with Laksmana and Sita.
113 Seeing Lord Ramachandra's beautiful form within that forest, I will swoon on the spot. My entire body overwhelmed with ecstatic love, I will remain stunned and speechless as I fill both my eyes that are heartily drinking the beauty of His form.
114 Being merciful, Laksmana will come forward slowly, set down some fruit and place his feet upon my hear. He will say, "My dear child, please eat this fruit. Since we are living here in the forest, this is all we have to offer our guests.
115 Just as he says this, the vision of this pastime will dissolve. Weeping and weeping, I will eat at the fruit. Oh, will I ever again see the figure of Rama, green as fresh durva grass? In my heart, I will meditate on that inconceivably beautiful form.

Last night at ISKCON Potomac the darshan of Sita Rama Laxmana Hanuman reminded me of this pastime.

Oh yes and I almost forgot to mention Caitanya Carita:by Murari Gupta:
In the CC it is stated: Adi lila 10.49
sri-murari gupta sakha - premera bhandara
prabhura hridaya drave suni’ dainya yanra

TRANSLATION
MurariGupta, the twenty-first branch of the tree of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, was a storehouse of love of Godhead. His great humility and meekness melted the heart of Lord Caitanya.

PURPORT
Sri Murari Gupta wrote a book called Sri Caitanya-carita. He belonged to a vaidya physician family of Srihatta, the paternal home of Lord Caitanya, and later became a resident of Navadvipa. He was among the elders of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Lord Caitanya exhibited His Varaha form in the house of MurariGupta, as described in the Caitanya-bhagavata, Madhya-lila, Third Chapter. When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu exhibited His maha-prakasa form, He appeared before Murari Gupta as Lord Ramacandra.
When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda Prabhu were sitting together in the house of Srivasa Thakura, Murari Gupta first offered his respects to Lord Caitanya and then to Sri Nityananda Prabhu. Nityananda Prabhu, however, was older than Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and therefore Lord Caitanya remarked that MurariGupta had violated social etiquette, for he should have first shown respect to Nityananda Prabhu and then to Him. In this way, by the grace of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Murari Gupta was informed about the position of Sri Nityananda Prabhu, and the next day he offered obeisances first to Lord Nityananda and then to Lord Caitanya. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu gave chewed pan, or betel nut, to Murari Gupta. Once Sivananda Sena offered food to Lord Caitanya that had been cooked with excessive ghee, and the next day the Lord became sick and went to Murari Gupta for treatment. Lord Caitanya accepted some water from the waterpot of Murari Gupta, and thus He was cured. The natural remedy for indigestion is to drink a little water, and since Murari Gupta was a physician, he gave the Lord some drinking water and cured Him.

When Caitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in the house of Srivasa Thakura in His Caturbhuja murti, Murari Gupta became His carrier in the form of Garuda, and in these pastimes of ecstasy the Lord then got up on his back. It was the desire of Murari Gupta to leave his body before the disappearance of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, but the Lord forbade him to do so. This is described in Caitanya-bhagavata, Madhya-lila, Chapter Twenty. When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu one day appeared in ecstasy as the Varaha murti, Murari Gupta offered Him prayers. He was a great devotee of Lord Ramacandra, and his staunch devotion is vividly described in the Caitanya-caritamrita, Madhya-lila, Fifteenth Chapter, verses 137 through 157. (A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita. Adi-lila 10.49. purport.)

Adi 10:50
pratigraha nahi kare, na laya kara dhana
atma-vritti kari’ kare kutumba bharana

TRANSLATION
Srila Murari Gupta never accepted charity from friends, nor did he accept money from anyone. He practiced as a physician and maintained his family with his earnings.

PURPORT
It should be noted that a grihastha (householder) must not make his livelihood by begging from anyone. Every householder of the higher castes should engage himself in his own occupational duty as a brahmana, kshatriya or vaisya, but he should not engage in the service of others, for this is the duty of a sudra. One should simply accept whatever he earns by his own profession. The engagements of a brahmana are yajana, yajana, pathana, pathana, dana and pratigraha. A brahmana should be a worshiper of Vishnu, and he should also instruct others how to worship Him.
A kshatriya can become a landholder and earn his livelihood by levying taxes or collecting rent from tenants. A vaisya can accept agriculture or general trade as an occupational duty. Since Murari Gupta was born in a physician’s family (vaidya-vamsa), he practiced as a physician, and with whatever income he earned he maintained his family. As stated in Srimad-Bhagavatam, everyone should try to satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead through the execution of his occupational duty. That is the perfection of life. This system is called daivi-varnasrama. Murari Gupta was an ideal grihastha, for he was a great devotee of Lord Ramacandra and Caitanya Mahaprabhu. By practicing as a physician he maintained his family and at the same time satisfied Lord Caitanya to the best of his ability. This is the ideal of householder life. (A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita. Adi-lila 10.50. purport.)

Adi 10.51
cikitsa karena yare ha-iya sadaya
deha-roga bhava-roga, - dui tara kshaya

TRANSLATION
As Murari Gupta treated his patients, by his mercy both their bodily and spiritual diseases subsided.

PURPORT
Murari Gupta could treat both bodily and spiritual disease because he was a physician by profession and a great devotee of the Lord in terms of spiritual advancement. This is an example of service to humanity. Everyone should know that there are two kinds of diseases in human society. One disease, which is called adhyatmika, or material disease, pertains to the body, but the main disease is spiritual. The living entity is eternal, but somehow or other, when in contact with the material energy, he is subjected to the repetition of birth, death, old age and disease.
The physicians of the modern day should learn from Murari Gupta. Although modern philanthropic physicians open gigantic hospitals, there are no hospitals to cure the material disease of the spirit soul. The Krishna consciousness movement has taken up the mission of curing this disease, but people are not very appreciative because they do not know what this disease is. A diseased person needs both proper medicine and a proper diet, and therefore the Krishna consciousness movement supplies materially stricken people with the medicine of the chanting of the holy name, or the Hare Krishna maha-mantra, and the diet of prasada.
There are many hospitals and medical clinics to cure bodily diseases, but there are no such hospitals to cure the material disease of the spirit soul. The centers of the Krishna consciousness movement are the only established hospitals that can cure man of birth, death, old age and disease. (A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita. Adi-lila 10.51. purport.)

"All the devotees worshiped Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu in this way, and the Lord remained in ecstasy for seven praharas, or twenty-one hours. He took this opportunity to show the devotees that He is the original Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna, who is the source of all other incarnations, as confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita (10.8): aham sarvasya prabhavo mattah sarvam pravartate. All the different forms of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, or vishnu-tattva, emanate from the body of Lord Krishna. Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu exposed all the private desires of the devotees, and thus all of them became fully confident that Lord Caitanya is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
"Some devotees call this exhibition of ecstasy by the Lord sata-prahariya bhava, or “the ecstasy of twenty-one hours,” and others call it mahabhava-prakasa or maha-prakasa. There are other descriptions of this sata-prahariya bhava in the Caitanya-bhavagata, Chapter Nine, which mentions that Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu blessed a maidservant named Duhkhi with the name Sukhi. He called for Kholaveca Sridhara, and showed him His maha-prakasa. Then He called for Murari Gupta and showed him His feature as Lord Ramacandra. He offered His blessings to Haridasa Thakura, and at this time He also asked Advaita Prabhu to explain the Bhagavad-gita as it is (gitara satya-patha) and showed special favor to Mukunda. (A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita. Adi-lila 17.18. purport.)

TRANSLATION
One day Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu felt the ecstasy of the boar incarnation and got up on the shoulders of Murari Gupta. Thus they both danced in Murari Gupta’s courtyard.

PURPORT
One day Caitanya Mahaprabhu began to cry out, “Sukara! Sukara!” Thus crying out for the boar incarnation of the Lord, He assumed His form as the boar incarnation and got up on the shoulders of MurariGupta. He carried a small gadu, a small waterpot with a nozzle, and thus He symbolically picked up the earth from the depths of the ocean, for this is the pastime of Lord Varaha. (A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita. Adi-lila 17.20. purport.)

Sri Murari Gupta in all humility in his Chaitanya Mangala presentation of Lord Chaitanya's pastimes first begs for the blessings of all 'mahabhagavatas'. "Then I can properly sing the glories of the Lord. I am the lowest of the low, so how can I explain the greatness of Sri Caitanya's transcendental character? Since I don't know anything, what's the use of my incoherent words? If, without knowing the highest truths about Lord Caitanya, I try to say something, I will suffer embarrassment before the great souls.
Although I am not qualified and full of faults, I cherish an intense desire to sing about the sweet qualities of Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu."
"While living in Navadwip, Sri Murari Gupta had the opportunity to remian always in the company of Gaurachandra. Who can describe his greatness? He is known throughout the world as Hanuman. After crossing the ocean to Lanka, Hanuman burned Ravan's palace to the ground. Then Hanuman brought Rama the good news about His beloved Sita. He revived Laksmana by bringing 'visalya-karani' (a medical herb). That same Hanuman now resides in Nadia as Murari Gupta.
Being highly realised, Murari Gupta knows all truths. As an eternal associate of the Lord, he is fixed at the lotus feet of Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu. He expertly told all of Lord Caitanya's childhood and boyhood pastimes in his great Sanskrit epic, 'Sri-Krishna-Caitanya-carita-mahakavya',(also called 'Karcha', dairy.).(Caitanya Mangala. 1994. Mahanidhi Swami, page 4.)

Murari Gupta begged Lord Caitanya (Gauranga) to "please be merciful, please give me ecstatic love of God!"

"Lord Gauranga said, 'Listen Murari, You have love for Me. So just serve the 'Parabraman' appearing in the human form, having the colour of an 'indranila' gem(blue sapphire). He stands most attractively in His three-fold bening form, carrying a flute in His hand. Worship Srimati Radharani, the golden comlexioned daughter of King Vrshabhanu. She is the original energy of the Lord, and Her effulgence defeats the colour of 'gorachana' (bright yellow).

"Engage yourself in the service of the 'gopis', and you'll attain the son of Nanda. In 'cintamani-bhumi', Vrindavana-dham, He sits on a jewelled throne resting upon a gem-studded platform surrounded by 'kalpa-vrksha' trees. By His inconceivible potency, 'Kama-dhenu' (surabhi-cows) wander everywhere fulfilling all desires. His glittering bodily effulgence is known as the formless 'Brahman'. You should know that this is the sweet truth about Krishna."
'The devotees felt transcendental joy to hear these talk from Lord Gauranga. I a mood of submission, Murari Gupta requested, "My lord, I want to see the Lord's form as Raghunatha (Lord Rama)."

Within a second, Murari saw Lord Ramachandra in His beautiful body the colour of fresh green grass. Sitadevi, Laksmana, bharata and Satrughna stood around the Lord. Murari rolled on the ground in astonishment. Gaurasundara pacified him with the touch of His lotus hand while blessing him. "May you become saturated in love of God. Actually Murari, you are no one other than Hanuman, and I am the same Lord Rama." After saying this, the Lord entered the temple."(Caitanya Mangala. Locan dasa Thakura.; Mahanidhi Swami. 1994. page 134.)

Once Lord Caitanya asked Murari Gupta to recite some verses he had composed, "For My pleasure, please recite that verse you composed."

'Murari Gupta cited his book Sri Krishna Caitanya-carita: "I worship the blessed Lord and master of the three worlds, Sri Ramachandra. He wears a brilliant crown covered with a strand of jewels whose shining lights up all directions. His dazzling earings defeat the brilliance of Sukra and Brhaspati. his beautiful face looks like a pure spotless moon.

"I worship the lotus feet of the master of the three worlds, Sri Ramachandra, whose charming eyes appear like blossoming lotus flowers. his red lips look like 'bimba' fruits, and His well-shaped nose attracts eveyone. His wonderfull smile embarrasses the moonlight."

After hearing these verses, Gaura put His feet on Murari's head. Then He wrote the name "Ramadasa" on his forehead. Prabhu said, "Murari, from today on, by My mercy, you'll be known as Ramadasa. Without Raghunatha, you can't live a moment. Know for certain that I am that same Lord Raghunath (Rama)."

To the surprise of everyone present, Lord Gauranga showed His transcendental form as Lord Ramachandra, long with Janaki (Sita), Laksmana, Hanuman, and other associates. Instantly, Murari fell at the Lord's feet and praised Gauranga. "All glories to Raghavira. He's the same as the darling of Sacimata." Then Murari rolled in the dust. Crying in happiness, he offered more prayers.

Showing mery, Mahaprabhu said, "Murari, you should worship Me, and forget anything other than 'bhakti'. Although I am your worshippable Lord Raghunatha, still you should worship the lord of Radha. Perform 'sankirtan', attentively hear the glories of Radha and Krishna, and be devoted to Me."(Caitanya Mangala. Locana dasa Thakura.; Mahanidhi Swami, page 153-154.)

Madhya 15.137
murari-guptere prabhu kari’ alingana
tanra bhakti-nishtha kahena, sune bhakta-gana

TRANSLATION
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu then embraced Murari Gupta and began to speak about his firm faith in devotional service. This was heard by all the devotees.

"There was a devotee of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. His name was Murari Gupta. He was physician to the then Nawab, Muslim Nawab. Now, they were sitting. The Nawab was going some hunting excursion or something like that, but he was Nawab’s physician. He was to accompany him. So they were sitting on the back of the elephant.
It is stated that Murari Gupta worshipped Lord Ramachandra only but he obviously had ecstatic love for Krsna as well:

In the meantime that Murari Gupta saw one peacock, and as soon as he saw the peacock, the feather, he at once remembered Krishna and at once fainted and fall down. This is called alambana. This is called alambana. Alambana means anything to the context, immediately he remembers his Lord and becomes ecstatic. This is the first-class stage of Krishna consciousness." (A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. 17th March 1967. Srimad Bhagavatam lecture 7:7:32-35. San Francisco.)
