we remember Durvasa Muni from the pages of Srimad Bhagavatam 9th Canto when he offended Ambarish Maharaja in Satya Yuga in Mathura , but after that things where all uphill for Durvasa Muni .Did you know he lived on the juice of wheat grass called Durva ,thus the name Durvasa Muni he also perfected his life by chanting Narasimha Kavacha daily as found in Brahma Samhita and later he took Darshan of Lord Narasimha in Satya Yuga, Lord Ramachandra in Treta Yuga , Lord Krsna in Dvarpara Yuga and in Kali Yuga he became Ganga das Pandit , Lord Caitanyas teacher in Navadvipa ,so now you know !

Paramananda Das Durvasa Muni also gave the Gopal Gayatri Mantra to Srimati Radharani and blessed Her that Her cooking would always bless and please Srila Krsna .Durvasa Muni is really a Vrijabasi , I guess most do not know this and his asrama is on the other side of Yamuna in Mathura . DUrvasa Muni also went to Dvaraka and made Sri Sri Rukmini- Krsna , smear prasadam all over their bodies instead of eating it and then after that Durvasa Muni made Rukmini Dvarakadish into " horses" while he was sitting in the chariot .Durvasa was so ashamed of himself for testing the Supreme Lords patience in this way , and started to run away, Sri Krsna called Durvasa Muni back ,these pastimes took place by Sri Krsnas own will .So Durvasa Muni is not to blame .He is also the main character in Gopal Tapani Upanisad .So many pastimes are there of Durvasa Muni , I always pay my obaisences to his lotusfeet , he was no ordinary sage !
