balaḿ balavatāḿ cāhaḿ
kāma-rāga-vivarjitam
dharmāviruddho bhūteṣu
kāmo ’smi bharatarṣabha
Translation of Bhagavad Gita 7.11
I am the strength of the strong, devoid of passion and desire. I am sex life which is not contrary to religious principles, O lord of the Bharatas [Arjuna].
Commentary by Sri A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada of Gaudiya Sampradaya:
The strong man’s strength should be applied to protect the weak, not for personal aggression. Similarly, sex life, according to religious principles (dharma), should be for the propagation of children, not otherwise. The responsibility of parents is then to make their offspring Krishna conscious.
Commentary by Sri Vishvanatha Chakravarthi Thakur of Gaudiya Sampradaya:
I am the strength of the strong, not displayed out of anger or used with the desire to maintain to ones own lifestyle. 1 am lust not contrary to dharma, directed towards one’s wife only for the production of children.
Commentary by Sri Ramanuja of Sri Sampradaya:
7.8 – 7.11 All these entities with their peculiar characteristic are born from Me alone. They depend on Me; inasmuch as they constitute My body, they exist in Me alone. Thus I alone exist while all of them are only My modes.
Commentary by Sri Sridhara Swami of Rudra Sampradaya:
Rajas or passion is an active desire for things unattained. Attachment though is a passive emotion of the mind which incites the thirst for more of a desired object after already experiencing it. So when Lord Krishna states: kama-raga-vivarjitam meaning devoid of passion and attachment He is explaining the nature of His strength. He is the serene, sublime strength which empowers one to regularly perform their spiritual duties without deviation or cessation. He is also the passion which is never contrary to sanatan dharma or eternal righteousness and which is beneficial in marriage and having a son by one’s wife.
Commentary by Sri Madhvacharya of Brahma Sampradaya:
Being completely devoid of desires and attachments Lord Krishna is eternally full and powerful in strength. This is His natural propensity and contains no rajas or passion. Since He bestows strength similar to His like He did with the five Pandavas, He is balam balavatam or the strength of the strong. Since ba symbolises strength and la symbolises bliss, He is the bliss of strength Himself.
It is primarily the unchecked desires for sensual enjoyments that causes the diminution of piety and morality; but these desires are not detrimental if they are attuned to sanatan dharma or eternal righteousness. The Supreme Lord resides in all desires that are not contrary to sanatan dharma; but he never resides in any action that is contrary to righteousness. Therefore the Supreme Lord Krishna even while abiding in everything still has the capacity to remain distinct from them although as the Supreme Lord He encompasses all.
Commentary by Sri Keshava Kashmiri of Kumara Sampradaya:
Lord Krishna continues explaining His subtle qualities that He is the strength of the mighty performing their individual duties devoid of passion and attachment. He is the energy of sexual desire for procreation which is not contrary to virtue and righteousness and does not conflict with the injunctions and prohibitions of the Vedic scriptures. Passion is the unabated craving to get a not yet obtained object with the thought to enjoy it. Attachment is the mental conditioning which after obtaining and enjoying an object makes one cling to the conception that such an object must always remain and continued to be enjoyed.

हरिर्हि साक्षाद्भ‍गवान् शरीरिणा-
मात्मा झषाणामिव तोयमीप्सितम् ।
हित्वा महांस्तं यदि सज्जते गृहे
तदा महत्त्वं वयसा दम्पतीनाम् ॥ १३ ॥
harir hi sākṣād bhagavān śarīriṇām
ātmā jhaṣāṇām iva toyam īpsitam
hitvā mahāṁs taṁ yadi sajjate gṛhe
tadā mahattvaṁ vayasā dampatīnām
Synonyms
hariḥ — the Lord; hi — certainly; sākṣāt — directly; bhagavān — the Supreme Personality of Godhead; śarīriṇām — of all living entities who have accepted material bodies; ātmā — the life and soul; jhaṣāṇām — of the aquatics; iva — like; toyam — the vast water; īpsitam — is desired; hitvā — giving up; mahān — a great personality; tam — Him; yadi — if; sajjate — becomes attached; gṛhe — to household life; tadā — at that time; mahattvam — greatness; vayasā — by age; dam-patīnām — of the husband and wife.
Translation
Just as aquatics always desire to remain in the vast mass of water, all conditioned living entities naturally desire to remain in the vast existence of the Supreme Lord. Therefore if someone very great by material calculations fails to take shelter of the Supreme Soul but instead becomes attached to material household life, his greatness is like that of a young, low-class couple. One who is too attached to material life loses all good spiritual qualities.
Purport
Although crocodiles are very fierce animals, they are powerless when they venture out of the water onto land. When they are out of the water, they cannot exhibit their original power. Similarly, the all-pervading Supersoul, Paramātmā, is the source of all living entities, and all living entities are part and parcel of Him. When the living entity remains in contact with the all-pervading Vāsudeva, the Personality of Godhead, he manifests his spiritual power, exactly as the crocodile exhibits its strength in the water. In other words, the greatness of the living entity can be perceived when he is in the spiritual world, engaged in spiritual activities. Many householders, although well-educated in the knowledge of the Vedas, become attached to family life. They are compared herein to crocodiles out of water, for they are devoid of all spiritual strength. Their greatness is like that of a young husband and wife who, though uneducated, praise one another and become attracted to their own temporary beauty. This kind of greatness is appreciated only by low-class men with no qualifications.
Everyone should therefore seek the shelter of the Supreme Soul, the source of all living entities. No one should waste his time in the so-called happiness of materialistic household life. In the Vedic civilization, this type of crippled life is allowed only until one’s fiftieth year, when one must give up family life and enter either the order of vānaprastha (independent retired life for cultivation of spiritual knowledge) or sannyāsa (the renounced order, in which one completely takes shelter of the Supreme Personality of Godhead).

tasmād rajo-rāga-viṣāda-manyu-
māna-spṛhā-bhayadainyādhimūlam
hitvā gṛhaṁ saṁsṛti-cakravālaṁ
nṛsiṁha-pādaṁ bhajatākutobhayam iti
Synonyms
tasmāt — therefore; rajaḥ — of passion or material desires; rāga — attachment for material things; viṣāda — then disappointment; manyu — anger; māna-spṛhā — the desire to be respectable in society; bhaya — fear; dainya — of poverty; adhimūlam — the root cause; hitvā — giving up; gṛham — household life; saṁsṛti-cakravālam — the cycle of repeated birth and death; nṛsiṁha-pādam — the lotus feet of Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva; bhajata — worship; akutaḥ-bhayam — the shelter of fearlessness; iti — thus.
Translation
Therefore, O demons, give up the so-called happiness of family life and simply take shelter of the lotus feet of Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva, which are the actual shelter of fearlessness. Entanglement in family life is the root cause of material attachment, indefatigable desires, moroseness, anger, despair, fear and the desire for false prestige, all of which result in the repetition of birth and death.
ŚB 12.2.6
दूरे वार्ययनं तीर्थं लावण्यं केशधारणम् ।
उदरंभरता स्वार्थ: सत्यत्वे धार्ष्ट्यमेव हि ।
दाक्ष्यं कुटुम्बभरणं यशोऽर्थे धर्मसेवनम् ॥ ६ ॥
dūre vāry-ayanaṁ tīrthaṁ
lāvaṇyaṁ keśa-dhāraṇam
udaraṁ-bharatā svārthaḥ
satyatve dhārṣṭyam eva hi
dākṣyaṁ kuṭumba-bharaṇaṁ
yaśo ’rthe dharma-sevanam
Synonyms
dūre — situated far away; vāri — of water; ayanam — a reservoir; tīrtham — holy place; lāvaṇyam — beauty; keśa — hair; dhāraṇam — carrying; udaram-bharatā — filling the belly; sva-arthaḥ — the goal of life; satyatve — in so-called truth; dhārṣṭyam — audacity; eva — simply; hi — indeed; dākṣyam — expertise; kuṭumba-bharaṇam — maintaining a family; yaśaḥ — fame; arthe — for the sake of; dharma-sevanam — observance of religious principles.
Translation
A sacred place will be taken to consist of no more than a reservoir of water located at a distance, and beauty will be thought to depend on one’s hairstyle. Filling the belly will become the goal of life, and one who is audacious will be accepted as truthful. He who can maintain a family will be regarded as an expert man, and the principles of religion will be observed only for the sake of reputation.
Purport
In India there are many sacred places through which holy rivers flow. Foolish persons eagerly seek redemption from their sins by bathing in these rivers but do not take instruction from learned devotees of the Lord who reside in such places. One should go to a holy place seeking spiritual enlightenment and not just for ritualistic bathing.
In this age, people tirelessly arrange their hair in different styles, trying to enhance their facial beauty and sexuality. They do not know that actual beauty comes from within the heart, from the soul, and that only a person who is pure is truly attractive. As the difficulties of this age increase, filling one’s belly will be the mark of success, and one who can maintain his own family will be considered brilliant in economic affairs. Religion will be practiced, if at all, only for the sake of reputation and without any essential understanding of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

by keeping long hair and beards especially when you cook for Krsna is not ideal as some of the beard may fall into the offering, Lord Caitanyas associates did not keep beards ,there might have been one or two exceptions

we can see for ourself that have I taken Sannyasa yet if I am older than 50 am I chanting 64 rounds daily and avoiding the 10 offenses to the holy name ? We have to look for our own faults and improve myself.. what is the use if I see for the splinter in my brothers eyes Jesus said when I have a plank myself in my own eyes ?

grhasthas only have sex with their wife for having children ,those who engage in sex for sensegratification are grhamedhis ,envious materialistic householders .Srila Prabhupada advised grhastha couples in ISKCON to not sleep in the same room as their wife Srila Prabhupada said that sleeping in the same room with ones spouse is against the Vedic principle and sensegratification

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura also said Sad grhasthas real Grhasthas must chant 64 rounds daily of the Mahamantra or they will become fallen.But the Lakesvara Grhasthas ,grhasthas that chant 64 rounds daily are auspiscious and any sannyasi will be purified by taking prasadam from such auspiscious Grhasthas

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada was so strict and said one should not make friends with those devotees that refuse to chant 64 rounds daily it is there in Caitanya Bhagavata ,,So Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada would have no business visiting ISKCON I guess since hardly anyone is chanting 64 rounds daily ?

Srila Prabhupada states in Srimad Bhagavatam after the age of 50 we must take Sannyasa and not remain in the pit fall of household life
