bimbaushthe prithu vikshate jatilaya sandrishyamane muhuh

vaca yukti-jusha mrisha lalitaya tam sampratarya krudha

drishtvemam hridi bhishita stutavati radha dhruvam patu vah

     pratah-in the early morning; pita-pate-a yellow cloth; kuca-upari-on Her breasts; rusha-with anger; ghurnabhare-rolling; locane-eyes; bimba-oshthe-bimba fruit lips; prithu-great; vikshate-with marks of biting; jatilaya-by Jatila; sandrishyamane-seen; muhuh-at every moment; vaca-by words; yukti-jusha-with logic; mrisha-with lies; lalitaya-by Lalita; tam-her; sampratarya-answering; krudha-angry; drishtva-seeing; imam-this; hridi-in the heart; bhishita-frightened; stutavati-glorifying; radha-Radha; dhruvam-indeed; patu-may protect; vah-you all.

Early in the morning Jatila-devi met Shri Radha and Her friend Lalita. Jatila noticed that Radha was wearing a yellow garment on Her breasts, Her eyes were rolling in sleepiness, and Her bimba fruit lips were deeply cut, as if someone had bit them. Although frightened at heart, Radha externally assumed an angry pose, became furious at Jatila's insinuations, and together with Lalita, in order to defend Herself, fabricated a network of seemingly logical lies. Afterward She glorified Lalita for her skillful help. May Shri Radha protect you all.
