seeing through the eyes of scriptures

before being on Padayatra in South India I guess I never felt any deep connection to the Demigods ,but Lord Caitanya visited many ancient temples of Lord Siva and Durga and gave them His darshan . so I recall for example visiting Kanyakumari devi in Indias most Southern point and also Minaksidevi in Madhurai with our ISKCON Padayatra in 1985 , I could tell that Durga is very dear to Lord Caitanya and also Lord Siva like when we visited SIva Kanchi ,I felt I got Lord Caitanyas mercy via Lord Siva and Parvati by respecting them ,it is something that came to mind and I take this rememberance as coming from Krsna so it is important to share it .On the left is Minaksidevi , middle is Kanya Kumari devi and right is Lord Siva at Siva Kanchi. At Siva Kanchi we had kirtana for the main Acarya of the Mayavadi Sampradaya ,in line of Sankacarya , Lokanath Swami and Jayadvaita Swami were also there ,I think even that Mayavadi acarya got purified by hearing the powerfull Hare Krsna Kirtana .
Some place we visited in Tamil Nadu I recall had not rained in 14 years one drop ,and now this is a miracle .I was leading the Kirtana and it started raining , not because of me but because of all the vaisnavas chanting powerfully Hare Krsna .That night we slept in the middle of this village where there was no running water or street lights or nothing on the veranda of the simple village houses and the rain was going on all ,,by Mangal artik it stopped , like if the Devas was nourishing us devotee, so there is surely nourishment between the demigods and humans if we do Sankirtana Yajna it will rain .Srila Prabhupada was asked once to help feed the starving in South India due to dought, Srila Prabhupada said have kirtana and rain will come. That day I remembered that letter Srila Prabhupada wrote it is in the Science of Self realization .In Srila Prabhupadas Macmillan Gita Prabhupada writes the Demigods and humans thus nourishing one another. The Demigods also benefit from Human sacrifice though it is not for us to easy perceive , but Indra once starved when he got cursed after killing Vrtasura and had to live inside the Manasarovara Lake and Agni could not bring him prasadam from humans sacrifice to Lord Visnu

Translation
Always thinking of how he could be relieved from the sinful reaction for killing a brāhmaṇa, King Indra, invisible to everyone, lived in the lake for one thousand years in the subtle fibers of the stem of a lotus. The fire-god used to bring him his share of all yajñas, but because the fire-god was afraid to enter the water, Indra was practically starving.

Paramananda Das Chapter 3, Verse 9
Work done as a sacrifice for Visnu has to be performed, otherwise work binds one to this material world. Therefore, O son of Kunti, perform your prescribed duties for His satisfaction, and in that way you will always remain unattached and free from bondage.
Chapter 3, Verse 10
In the beginning of creation, the Lord of all creatures sent forth generations of men and demigods, along with sacrifices for Visnu, and blessed them by saying, Be thou happy by this yajna [sacrifice] because its performance will bestow upon you all desirable things.
Chapter 3, Verse 11
The demigods, being pleased by sacrifices, will also please you; thus nourishing one another, there will reign general prosperity for all.
Chapter 3, Verse 12
In charge of the various necessities of life, the demigods, being satisfied by the performance of yajna [sacrifice], supply all necessities to man. But he who enjoys these gifts, without offering them to the demigods in return, is certainly a thief.
