Dear vaisnavas
Please accept my humble obaisences
All glories to Srila Prabhupada
How would you feel if everyday you can donate hundreds of sets of Srila Prabhupadas books to so many people?.This is a dream of all true followers of Srila Prabhupada.
I have the answer for you ,Vedabase.net!.And how important is it that people read Srila Prabhupadas books and how pleased he was with this activity.
Your report of book distribution is very encouraging. Please go on increasing more and more. Yes, you should become the topmost temple for distributing my books. This is a very good proposal. That is the only way to please me. Distribute my books profusely. That is real preaching.Srila Prabhupada's Letter to: Bala Krsna — Vrindaban 23 October, 1976
Now imagine if I tell Srila Prabhupada, I have a way I can give everyone a free set of his books, will he not be pleased.I know he is.I placed Vedabase.net on the side of a Jagannatha sticker maybe around 7-8 years ago.And while distributing Srila Prabhupadas books, each day also distribute hundreds of these sticker for free and ask all people very humbly to please go and read Vedabase.net for free on the internet. Thus will not commit any aparadha, throwing the book away in worse case or reading with muchi (dirty) hands
Here is one example I found today and there hundreds of of similar ones who knows even thousands:
I am trying to find a Lord Jagannath sticker with vedabase.net in the corner?
2-3 years ago in DC I received a sticker with Lord Jagannath on it that promoted vedabase.net. Since then I have read through vedabase.net, I find it very interesting, but my sticker has been long lost. I want to find a place where I can buy this same sticker because I miss it very much. Does anyone know? Thank you in advance.

I responded to this person that if he informed me where to send the sticker to I would do so and send him many as long as he kindly also encourage his friends to also read Srila Prabhupadas books on vedabase.net.
I am not trying to minimize the BBT , but actually encourage people to contact the BBT to buy whatever book they want in bookform. And bookdistrbution should go on.
Books are the basis for reading and distributing, how many times on sankirtana have a sankirtana devotee not been frustrated ,that this person really wants a book but only have credit cards and things like that on them.So you simply have a sticker like that ,or a nice inviation card to the local temple, and also place vedabase.net there maybe with a link to the BBT to buy the book directly from them online. The potentials are huge.In this way no one will get cheated from not being abel to read Srila Prabhupadas books, I kindly ask all devotees and leaders in ISKCON to kindly consider this, and you will be surprised how effective this is.
There is many verses that glorifie Srimad Bhagavatam in Bhagavatam itself:
SB 12.13.11-12: From beginning to end, the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is full of narrations that encourage renunciation of material life, as well as nectarean accounts of Lord Hari's transcendental pastimes, which give ecstasy to the saintly devotees and demigods. This Bhāgavatam is the essence of all Vedānta philosophy because its subject matter is the Absolute Truth, which, while nondifferent from the spirit soul, is the ultimate reality, one without a second. The goal of this literature is exclusive devotional service unto that Supreme Truth.
SB 12.13.13: If on the full moon day of the month of Bhādra one places Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam on a golden throne and gives it as a gift, he will attain the supreme transcendental destination.
SB 12.13.14: All other Puranic scriptures shine forth in the assembly of saintly devotees only as long as that great ocean of nectar,Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, is not heard.
SB 12.13.15: Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is declared to be the essence of all Vedānta philosophy. One who has felt satisfaction from its nectarean mellow will never be attracted to any other literature.
SB 12.13.16: Just as the Gańgā is the greatest of all rivers, Lord Acyuta the supreme among deities and Lord Śambhu [Śiva] the greatest of Vaiṣṇavas, so Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the greatest of all Purāṇas.
SB 12.13.17: O brāhmaṇas, in the same way that the city of Kāśī is unexcelled among holy places, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is supreme among all the Purāṇas.
SB 12.13.18: Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the spotless Purāṇa. It is most dear to the Vaiṣṇavas because it describes the pure and supreme knowledge of the paramahaḿsas. This Bhāgavatam reveals the means for becoming free from all material work, together with the processes of transcendental knowledge, renunciation and devotion. Anyone who seriously tries to understand Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, who properly hears and chants it with devotion, becomes completely liberated.
now with Vedabase.net you can also give free sets of Srila Prabhupadas books daily:
SB 12.13.13: If on the full moon day of the month of Bhādra one places Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam on a golden throne and gives it as a gift, he will attain the supreme transcendental destination.
You think it only has to be in book form?Welcome to the digital age and internet age.I pray the bookdistribution of Srila Prabhupadas books will
be million fold ,and that vedabase.net will be a new powerful tool to help spread KC all over the world.Even in Muslim countries etc this is very very powerful preaching ,what is the loss only so much spiritual gain.
And when persons get used to reading Srila Prabhupadas books on the internet, they will also want it in book form.
