The jivas fall from Jaiva Dharma and Srila Prabhupada

The unlimited arguments about how the jiva fell, is added by another twist, because Srila Prabhupada sometimes stated when the Jiva falls he first take the post of Brahma.Some have different views of this..how is it possible? Srila Prabhupada stood his ground and said why is is not possible, what is not possible for Krsna.

Pk Vidyavan mentioned the 16 chapter of Jaiva dharma, what he quoted is but a part of this chapter, the details there needs to be carefully studied, as the fall of the jiva is very complex.

Srila Prabhupada in some lectures gave much credit to Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura and his books such as Jaiva dharma and Caitanya Siksamrta.Sadly these issues has often caused much arguments and vaisnava aparadha.Kundali and Satya Narayana Prabhus distanced themselves over this Jiva issue as they did not agre with the official ISKCON view that the jiva came from Krsna loka ,neither did Gaura Govinda Maharaja .Srila Prabhupada said both things, in some places the jiva does not fall and in some places he said it is a fact previously we where with Krsna in his lilas.and in some places he said both is possible.How can our tiny minds not be blown away...?Surely Krsna must be laughing at our foolish ignorance, but we could take it whatever Srila Prabhupada said about this must all be true, the example is there with the Guru telling the disciple the rope is snake, it is inconceivable for mundane intelligence.

nitya-siddha krsna-bhakti sadhya kabhu naya

sravanadi-suddha-citte karaye udaya

Srila Prabhupada said now we are neither in Brahman or with Krsna, so what does it matter where we came from? Chant Hare Krishna and get out of ignorance by taking shelter of Gaura Nitai.

Srila Prabhupada gave an amazing speech at the opening of the Krsna Balarama temple april 20th 1975

Bhakti comes out of love. You cannot make one forced to love you. It comes automatically. That automatic love is there in everyone’s heart for Krsna. That is stated in the Caitanya-caritamrta:




nitya-siddha krsna-bhakti sadhya kabhu naya

sravanadi-suddha-citte karaye udaya



Udaya means it is awakened. Everyone has got love for Krsna within the heart. That is natural. But that love is distributed in different ways. How? Yasyatma-buddhih kunape tri-dhatuke sva-dhih kalatradisu bhauma idya-dhih. This love has been distributed familywise, communitywise, nationwise, countrywise, like that. So this love has to be concentrated, converted to be love of Krsna. That is required. Then everything is perfect. That is Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s teaching, and He practically… krsna-prema-pradaya te. To develop love for somebody, that requires very elaborate process. It is not… Because we are in the darkness. Krsna says in the Bhagavad-gita:



manusyanam sahasresu

kascid yatati siddhaye

yatatam api siddhanam

kascid vetti mam tattvatah



So we cannot understand even Krsna, what is Krsna. Actually, there are so many misinterpretations about Krsna. I do not wish to discuss because they have been made mistaken by big, big leaders. People cannot understand even Krsna, what is Krsna, and what to speak of loving Krsna. That is very difficult job. But Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, He distributed this love of Krsna. Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Lord Nityananda is standing before you, and He delivered many, many sinful persons to the transcendental position of love of Krsna. Srila Narottama dasa Thakura has sung, vrajendra-nandana yei, saci-suta hoilo sei, balarama hoilo nitai. This Balarama, He became Nitai, and Krsna, He became Caitanya Mahaprabhu. These two brothers, the same two brothers, Rama-Laksman, Krsna-Balarama, again as Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda Prabhu. So what was Their business? The papi-tapi jata chilo, hari-name uddharilo. This is Their business. All the papis and all the persons suffering from material anxieties, They delivered, 'Yes.'(end)

No devotees should fight over this issue, and commit vaisnava aparadha,we should all chant Hare Krishna and develop love for Guru,vaisnavas and,Gaura Nitai and Krsna Balarama.I am sure this attitude will please Srila Prabhupada the most in this matter.
