Brahmananda Prabhu lived in Washington Dc area in 1995 and he did not come much to the temple at all but at one point before going to Europe and serve there I stayed with disciples of Tripurari Swami so I had a program on Wedensday and we would talk about Krsna and I would cook prasadam and offer to Salagrama Silas and Giriraja Sila and Srila Prabhupada .So he said you want to hear Srila Prabhupada least popular instruction?
SO he told how in Vrindavana Srila Prabhupada said Grhasthas should never sleep in the same room with their wife or they will fall down.Srila Prabhupada said Grhastha life is like Brahmacari life only sex for having childrenb after the samskara of chanting 64 rounds Kamo Smi Bharatasabha .Srila Prahbupada explained this is the old Vedic culture husband and wife sleep in seperate rooms.,.otherwise Srila Prabhupada said they will fall into illicit sex.One Prabhupada disciple from Germany once joked and said yes and my wife locks the room at night so I can not come in her bed room.Srila Prabhupada said when I was a kid me and my dad slept outside the ladies quaters,, and the system is if some intruder comes the men are there to protect the women that is deeper inside the house .Because women must always be protected Srila Prabhupada said .

balaṁ balavatāṁ cāhaṁ
kāma-rāga-vivarjitam
dharmāviruddho bhūteṣu
kāmo 'smi bharatarṣabha
SYNONYMS 
balam—strength; balavatām—of the strong; ca—and; aham—I am; kāma—passion; rāga—attachment; vivarjitam—devoid of; dharma-aviruddha—not against the religious principles; bhūteṣu—in all beings; kāmaḥ—sex-life; asmi—I am; bharatarṣabha—O lord of the Bhāratas.
TRANSLATION
I am the strength of the strong, devoid of passion and desire. I am sex life which is not contrary to religious principles, O Lord of the Bhāratas [Arjuna].
PURPORT
The strong man's strength should be applied to protect the weak, not for personal aggression. Similarly, sex life, according to religious principles (dharma), should be for the propagation of children, not otherwise. The responsibility of parents is then to make their offspring Kṛṣṇa conscious.

I want to add another most unpopular instruction ,Srila Prabhupada said at the first initiation now you have beads you should chant 64 rounds daily on your Japa Mala ..so now you know ,as you know Srila Prabhupadas disciples hackled with him to bring it down to minimum 16 rather shameful if we think about it ,Lord Caitanya asked for 64 rounds daily
