Sri Garuda and the little bird!
Srila Prabhupada told the story of the little bird that lost her eggs at ocean and threatened to empty the Ocean by removing all the Oceans water in her beak , it sounds insane ,how large is the ocean how small is the beak of the little bird? So Sri Garuda said wellI will empty the ocean ,and then the Ocean returned the eggs, but the little bird had been doing this for long long time.The moral is a question of endeavor in Krsnas service .DETERMINATION. from Bhagavad Gita 2.44 convinced him that if he really put his determination to spread Krsna consciousness then Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu would help him spread KC all over the world ,Srila Prabhupada said the purport of Srila Visvanath Chakravati Thakura convinced him

bhogaisvarya-prasaktanam
tayapahrta-cetasam
vyavasayatmika buddhih
samadhau na vidhiyate
SYNONYMS
bhoga—material enjoyment; aisvarya—opulence; prasaktanam—those who are so attached; taya—by such things; apahrta-cetasam—bewildered in mind; vyavasayatmika—fixed determination; buddhih—devotional service of the Lord; samadhau—in the controlled mind; na—never; vidhiyate—does take place.
TRANSLATION
In the minds of those who are too attached to sense enjoyment and material opulence, and who are bewildered by such things, the resolute determination of devotional service to the Supreme Lord does not take place.

Samadhi means "fixed mind." The Vedic dictionary, the Nirukti, says, samyag adhiyate 'sminn atmatattva-yathatmyam: "When the mind is fixed for understanding the self, it is called samadhi. "Samadhi is never possible for persons interested in material sense enjoyment, nor for those who are bewildered by such temporary things. They are more or less condemned by the process of material energy.

Those whose minds are attracted by the flowery words, who are attached to power and enjoyment, do not have the determined intelligence fixed firmly on one point (samadhau), on only the Supreme Lord. The form of the verb na vidhiyate is reflexive passive (karma kartari), meaning in this case “is not attained.” This commentary is Sridhara Swami’s version.

So in relationship with chanting 64 rounds we should remember two things first of all Srila Prabhupada tried to introduce it as the absolute standard for ISKCON as this was Lord Caitanyas standard for devotees in Jagannath Puri that everyone should chant 100.000 holy names daily . SO it takes determination , if the little bird can have such determination to empty the ocean ,keep this in mind now you can get determined to chant 64 rounds .But as one devotee told me yesterday in a video call I have no taste for chanting 64 rounds I said it due to Maya and you should understand this sloka :

syāt kṛṣṇa-nāma-caritādi-sitāpy avidyā-
pittopatapta-rasanasya na rocikā nu
kintv ādarād anudinaṁ khalu saiva juṣṭā
svādvī kramād bhavati tad-gada-mūla-hantrī

The holy name, character, pastimes and activities of Kṛṣṇa are all transcendentally sweet like sugar candy. Although the tongue of one afflicted by the jaundice of avidyā [ignorance] cannot taste anything sweet, it is wonderful that simply by carefully chanting these sweet names every day, a natural relish awakens within his tongue, and his disease is gradually destroyed at the root.

This is sloka 7 of Srila Rupa Goswamis Upadesamrta ,so when one has the ignorance of Avidya ignorance inside ones body and mind and intelligence then the holy name taste sour .When I served in Vrindavana in 1986 we used to drink water from Srila Prabhupada well ,the Samadhi well ,but it got contaminated during the rainy season and lots of us got sick from Jaundice.The Auyrvedic Kaviraja in Vrindavana told me to take Papaya and Sugar candy and Liv 52.( when Gopal Krsna Maharaja came to Vrindavana he send me right away to ISKCON New Delhi to get western Alopatic medicine that is when I got better,A lesson that Western Medicine is more effective also ) But when I was eating the pure sugar made from the sugar canes in Vrindavana it tasted so bitter, but it is part of the cure.So similarly Srila Rupa Goswami has given us the dose of chanting 64 rounds :

gauranga shrimukhe rupe kahila vaishnave;
laksha nama sankhya kari avasya karibe.

"Lord Gauranga gave the following instructions to all the Vaishnavas Himself and also through Shrila Rupa Goswami: Please compulsorily chant 100,000 names of Krishna daily

Therefore no one should dare say I follow Srila Rupa Goswami if they refuse to chant 64 rounds daily as ordered by Lord Caitanya and Srila Rupa Goswami .Lord Caitanya is the Supreme physician and Lord Caitanya would say :

enechi auṣadhi māyā nāśibāro lāgi'
hari-nāma mahā-mantra lao tumi māgi'

I have brought the medicine that will wipe out the disease of illusion from which you are suffering. Take this mahā-mantra-Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/HareRāma, Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare."

If you will not chant 64 rounds then the witch of maya will eat you up : jīv jāgo, jīv jāgo, gauracānda bole
kota nidrā jāo māyā-piśācīra kole
Lord Gaurānga is calling, "Wake up, sleeping souls! Wake up, sleeping souls! How long will you sleep in the lap of the witch called Māyā?

bhajibo boliyā ese saḿsāra-bhitare
bhuliyā rohile tumi avidyāra bhare

tomāre loite āmi hoinu avatāra
āmi binā bandhu āra ke āche tomāra
2) You have forgotten the way of devotional service and are lost in the world of birth and death.

3) I have descended just to save you; other than Myself you have no friend in this world.

So you please take this advise from Lord Caitanya you may think I am not your friend for telling you this ,why this big needle and big injection of 64 rounds ?

But you please take if from Lord Caitanya , Srila Rupa Goswami ,Srila Lokanath das Thakura, Srila Haridas Thakura and recently our acaryas like Srila Jagannath das Babaji that stated please chant 120 rounds (200.000 names) daily before you sleep or at least minimum 100.000 names .Srila Svarupa Damodara Goswami never brought any food to Lord Caitanya or any offering to Lord Caitanya by anyone that did not chant 64 rounds daily .So everything had to go through Sri Lalitadevi , Srila Svarupa Damodara Goswami is Sri Lalitadevi .This is the essence of our Gaudiya Philosophy
Srila Prabhupada :The word impossible is a word in a fools dictionary
He said this when devotees where behind in printing his Caitanya Caritamrta, and Ramesvara Prabhu said Srila Prabhupada we can not print all your Caitanya Caritamrtas in two month it it impossible .Srila Prabhupada put his cane in the ground firmly : IMPOSSIBLE IS A WORD IN A FOOLS DICTIONARY.

Chanting 64 rounds is not impossible it just needs determination to do so daily ,that I will obey Lord Caitanya and Srila Rupa Goswami and all our acarya and Srila Prabhupada what is my excuse ?(all bogus excuses )
