Some devotees argue whether we should do Katayani Vrata or not ?

Well if you are desiring to become a Manjari eternally you can.I will tell you what Aindra Prabhu used to do.He would chant 128 rounds daily or at least 64 rounds, then he would take Havisana , unspiced Kitri , not even with salt and peper or ginger nothing. then he would go to the Yamuna daily and take bath ,,if he could not go then in his mind he would take Yamuna Snana .In Vraja many chant Yamuna Kavacha daily and Yamuna Gayatri ,some chant 1000 names of Yamuna during this month ,some chant 1000 names of Sri Radha ...Devotional service is up to us as we surrender to Krsna He will reciprocate

I have always been busy in distributing Srila Prabhupadas books in the past , so that was my tapasya that please Srila Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya saving the fallen souls so if you distribute Srila Prabhupadas books and preach to save souls you do not have to go to Vrindavana and do this Katayani Vrata I have no desire to become a manjari it is not for me ,but I very much respect this Vrata and we should hear about it , it can be performed to become a Sakha also why not, instead I will pray to Krsna ,that dear Katyanni devi you are Yoga Maya that can arrange I will become a Sakha in Vraja for one month I iwll bath in Yamuna and pray for your mercy , or we can pray dear Yoga Maya sorry please excuse me I have to distribute Srila Prabhupadas books kindly allow me however still become a Vrijabasi eternally

Managers can do this Vrata to better serve Radha Krsna and the Vaisnavas, I am so selfish I should be out there distributing Srila Prabhupadas books , but I am comforting in the temple ,Yoga Maya please kick me out of the temple during the day so I can serve you by distributing Srila Prabhupadas books and helping you by inspiring others to also distribute Srila Prabhupadas books ,I shall come back only to rest at night and take prasadam and inspire others to distribute Srila Prabhupadas books now that is needed in ISKCON

What pleases Srila Prabhupada obviously is we distribute his books and Katayani vrata is in the middle of the December Marathon ,without his mercy we are nothing

I aspire to always observe Katyani Vrata distributing Srila Prabhupadas books
