seeing through the eyes of scriptures

Payonidhi Das Das ‎55. Wearing a two pisa string a man is called a brahmin. Wearing a saffron cloth he has become a sannyasi.56. The householders beg from sannyasis, and why not? The sannyasis have tens of millions of rupees in the bank.57. As the days pass, the influence of Kali-yuga increases and the poor are crying in distress.

William G Benedict I should have taken sanyass in 1972 instead of getting married...I'd be a very rich swami by now!

Payonidhi Das Das better to be a poor grhastha than a filthy rich sannyasi at others expense, one sannyasis left with 7 million US in his bankaccount so sometiems this goes on in ISKCON too

Payonidhi Das Das what I mean about the 7 millions I am not talking about Harikesa that left with 5 plus million, but about a sannyasi that gave up his body and had this kind of money

William G Benedict Yes, my dear Prabhu, I am 100% sure that many if not most of the "swamis" are keeping large bank balances. There is a complete lack of transparency in finances of the swamis. Jaiadvaita Swami used to publish his yearly financial details on his web site, but that has been taken down, but he is the only one that I have seen to ever do this.

Payonidhi Das Das this is one reason why sannyasa in Kali yuga is forbidden beacause many take up this asrama to become rich

William G Benedict in 1972 I was recommended for sanyass. I contemplated it and decided I should marry instead because I did not want to become a cheating/fake swami..

Payonidhi Das Das and taking sannyasa without chanting 64 rounds daily as ordered by
Lord Caitanya is useless in my humble opinion ,disobeying this order is enviouness of Lord Caitanya, and then taking sannyasa to become wealthy, get out of here
