Narasimha astra !
Garga Samhita canto 7 chapter 3 to 5 mentiones Sisupala fighting against Lord Krsnas son Padyumna, of course He is not only Krsnas son but the incarnaton of Lord Krsnas Caturvuyha expansion Lord Pradyumna ,who is also the transcendental Kamadeva and worshipped as mentioned in Srimad Bhagavatam 5 canto chapter 18-19..You might have read the pastimes in Krsna book and Srimad Bhagavatam about Praydumna so Lord Pradyumna ended up fighting Sisupala (who is an incarnation of Jaya or Vijaya not sure which of them )and defeated him and his father Damghosa paid the tribute to the Rajasurya Sacrifice:,so Sisupala used an elephant weapon and Lord Pradyumna invoked the "Narasimha astra "
It created a half man half lion monster to kill the elephants, so this monster does not seem to be an incarnationes of Lord Narasimha or may it is Lord Narasimha to me Narasimha astra is Lord Narasimha. to me there is only one Narasimha so it seems Lord Pradyumna invoked Lord Narasimha?Who but Lord Narasimha can scare all Elephants in the world what to speak of killing them ? This reminds me of this sloka :

सटावधूता जलदा: परापतन्
ग्रहाश्च तद् द‍ृष्टिविमुष्टरोचिष: ।
अम्भोधय: श्वासहता विचुक्षुभु-
र्निर्ह्रादभीता दिगिभा विचुक्रुशु: ॥ ३२ ॥
saṭāvadhūtā jaladāḥ parāpatan
grahāś ca tad-dṛṣṭi-vimuṣṭa-rociṣaḥ
ambhodhayaḥ śvāsa-hatā vicukṣubhur
nirhrāda-bhītā digibhā vicukruśuḥ
Synonyms
saṭā — by the hair on Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva’s head; avadhūtāḥ — shaken; jaladāḥ — the clouds; parāpatan — scattered; grahāḥ — the luminous planets; ca — and; tat-dṛṣṭi — by His glaring glance; vimuṣṭa — taken away; rociṣaḥ — whose effulgence; ambhodhayaḥ — the water of the oceans and seas; śvāsa-hatāḥ — being struck by Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva’s breathing; vicukṣubhuḥ — became turbulent; nirhrāda-bhītāḥ — frightened by Nṛsiṁhadeva’s roaring; digibhāḥ — all the elephants guarding the quarters; vicukruśuḥ — cried out.
Translation
The hair on Nṛsiṁhadeva’s head shook the clouds and scattered them here and there, His glaring eyes stole the effulgence of the luminaries in the sky, and His breathing agitated the seas and oceans. Because of His roaring, all the elephants in the world began to cry in fear.
So anyway this is from Garga Samhita 7canto chapter 3 to 5
Shishupala applied gajastra, which was awarded to him by Agastya Muni in the Malaya mountains. From this weapon came four streams of elephants, who began to destroy the Yadava army. To resist this weapon Pradyumna called on Narasimhaastra that produces monsters in the form of a half man-half lion, who began to devour these elephants. In the end, Shishupala grabbed his sword and shield, jumped from chariot and rushed to Pradyumna, like a moth throws itself on fire. Pradyumna burned down his sword and shield with his yamadanda, and then tied him with the bonds of Varuna. Then when Pradyumna raised his sword to kill Shishupala, Gada intervened and stopped him with the words: “He should only be killed by Krishna. This is the prediction of the demigods. You shouldn't contradict the words of the celestials." Then King Damaghosa arrived at that place and offered generous tribute to the Yadavas. Damaghosa embraced Pradyumna, begging him forgive Shishupala. So everything was settled and Yadava continued their conquests

As we know Sisupala made more offences to Krsna during the performance of the Rajasurya sacrifice and Krsna cut of his head
