One time in the late 1980th one disciple of Srila Prabhupada was made in charge of Jagannath Mandir by the Yamuna in Vrindavana ,so he invited me to stay there and read and chant and have daily darshan of Lord Jagannath Baladeva and Subhadra ,so I have never been inside the temple of Lord Jagannath in Puri but I have lived in Lord Jagannaths temple in Vrindavana for 2 month, when you go to Vrindavana kindly take darshan of Lord Jagannath Baladeva and Subhadra they are original Jagannath Baladeva and Subhadra from Puri and was worshipped there during the time of Lord Caitanya ,they are Jagannath Deities that Lord Caitanya saw ,and Lord Caitanya is non different from Lord Jagannath there .Eventually my friends at ISKCON Krsna Balarama mandir said why you avoid us please come back to stay in Srila Prabhupadas temple and home (Srila Prabhupada called ISKCON Vrindavana for his home )
