seeing through the eyes of scriptures

Jaya Radhe Shyam
Today is the Independence day of India. But real independence is to surrender to Krishna. India has so many problems. The independence of India has not solved anything..only  given the sense we are free. But have all indians surrendered to Krishna?
Certainly not : I pray all the Bharat varsis will take to this chanting on one lahk names of the Maha mantra daily:
(But no country should be invaded by another ,and the british did no help India they where helping themselves.....)
SHRILA LOKANATHA GOSVAMI TO HIS DISCPLE SHRILA NAROTTAMA
From Prema-vilasa Chapter 11:
(Note: Both Shrila Prabhupada and Shrila Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada have accepted Prema-vilasa as a bonafide scripture in their commentaries to Shri Chaitanya-charitamrita Adi-lila 13.60 purport.)
je vaishnava haibe laibe harinama; sankhya kari nama laile, kripa karena gauradhama.
"Those who are Vaishavas must chant the Holy Names in a particular number everyday. Then Lord Gauranga, the supreme Abode of love will be merciful to them.
WHAT IS THAT NUMBER?
purva abhipraye sabe laha harinama; keha laksha viseshatah mukhe gana.
"Everyone should specifically chant or sing the name loudly 100,000 times a day (64 rounds) with the mood I have described earlier.
EMPOWERMENT:
narottama laksha nama laya sankhya kari; nama laile gaurangera sarva sakti dhari.
"O my disciple, Narottama! Please chant 100,000 names everyday while maintaining their count. If you chant in this way then you will become empowered by all the potencies of Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu."
(note)
kali-kalera dharma--krishna-nama-sankirtana; krishna-sakti vina nahe tara pravartana. (Cc Antya-lila 7.11)
"The fundamental religious system in the Age of Kali is the chanting of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra. Unless empowered by Krishna, one cannot propagate the chanting of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra.
This planet known as Bhārata-varṣa is also called puṇya-bhūmi, the pious land. At the present moment Bhārata-bhūmi, or Bhārata-varṣa, is a small piece of land extending from the Himalaya Mountains to Cape Comorin. Sometimes this peninsula is called puṇya-bhūmi.
SB 5.4.9, Translation and Purport:
Of Ṛṣabhadeva's one hundred sons, the eldest, named Bharata, was a great, exalted devotee qualified with the best attributes. In his honor, this planet has become known as Bhārata-varṣa.
Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu has given special importance to the people of this land.
bhārata-bhūmite haila manuṣya-janma yāra
janma sārthaka kari' kara para-upakāra
"One who has taken his birth as a human being in the land of India (Bhārata-varṣa) should make his life successful and work for the benefit of all other people." (CC Adi 9.41) The inhabitants of this piece of land are very fortunate. They can purify their existence by accepting this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement and go outside Bhārata-bhūmi (India) and preach this cult to benefit the whole world.(end)
comment:
But  India is becoming less and less pious, and this is very sad, so many places of pilgrimage that where formerly so beautiful are polluted and neglected, even Vrindavana, you go to such a sacred place like Govinda kunda at Govardhana and it has become buffalo kunda where buffaloes take bath ,  Prema Sarovara, Yamuna and so many sacred places are now so polluted. I urge India to maintain its holy places better and all devotees of Krsna from all over India  should  do something to clean up these holy places.
Actually best would be to ban all cars and scooters in Vrindavana city  area, and should be left at the entrance of the city.
So many persons complain about corruption , unless however one becomes a pure devotee of Krsna he /she will remain corrupt.
Today this should be on the lips of all born in Bharat Varsa:
bhārata-bhūmite haila manuṣya-janma yāra
janma sārthaka kari' kara para-upakāra
"One who has taken his birth as a human being in the land of India (Bhārata-varṣa) should make his life successful and work for the benefit of all other people." (CC Adi 9.41)
This is done by becoming KC and giving it to others.
