In God we trust !
This bring back memories from Washington DC sankirtana , Narasimha das has properly distributed books longer in Washington DC than anyone since I guessed he joined from the early 1980th and he still comes out there, he stops people with a Jagannath sticker and then gives them a book and ask for a donation , I recall from 1997 to around 2000 there was three of us out there daily Vijitatma , Narasimha and myself and we where all doing around 100 to 200 medium books daily, I was distributing books for Sri Sri Radha Gopivallabha in Boston and Srila Prabhupada those where the day.Back then ISKCON Boston was number 1 in USA in Bookdistribution.After that Narasimha and myself kept distributing books and Vijitatma did not come to DC so much anymore.. I switched to origional Prabhupada books mostly,Narasimha Prabhu makes all the school kids chant Hare Krsna ,he often distribute Higher taste and Chant and be happy , and makes people look up the Mahamantra and sometimes he has groups with 50 to a hundred kids and sometimes a whole class room of kids chant along with their teachers. Many schools in USA visit the National mall in Washington DC and eventually every kid in USA will have been to the National monuments so this is the most important sankirtana spot in all of USA .I recall sometimes when we make the teachers and students chant Hare Krsna hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare , then at the end you make them raise their arms and chant HARI BOOOOOOOLLLLLLL .We tell people that Hari bol means chant Gods names and US kids are pious Vow that is so cool they say .Sometimes they invite us to chant in their tour buses , and gives us the microphone and 200 kids try to chant Hare Krsna . I remember one group that was in an accident once on their way to Baltimore and these kids came with their teacher and said ;You know we where in an accident yesterday .I said I saw something in the news, because I sometiems check the news and weather for next day .(sometimes there a special events you can distribute books at)I said that was your bus ? They said Yes..The one kid said I feel Lord Krsna protected us. I was so happy ,I said I know He did ,He always protects us .They gave me a hug and even the teachers hugged me we where all so emotional and thanked Krsna that nothing happened.One teacher who was a Christian said let us all pray together and we all held hands and prayed for the kids and the group that the rest of the trip would be without any futher incidents.The same teachers have then still come back year after year and each generation buys books from us and loves us and hugs us and we are part of their life that is how we feel so it is very beautiful sometimes on Sankirtana ,to see how we are all untied under God.As the US dollar bill says : IN GOD WE TRUST!

Paramananda Das We give a Jagannath sticker to everyone we meet and it has Vedabase,com used to be Vedabase.net so if someone does not get a book they can go online and read the books, properly 10 milliones of these Jagannath stickers has been distributed alone and I often meet people that tell me you know i went home and read the books online I have been reading them I ofered books from the BBT or they will buy books from you

Paramananda Das one the side it has Vedabase,net we need to have it reprinted since it is changed to com we tell people to read the books online also because even if they donate and take one two or 3 books book here they have a full set of books on line ,making people read Srila Prabhupadas books is important
