dear Devotees

“The Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement is meant to give you an opportunity to solve these four problems—birth, old age, disease, and death. But if you continue to act sinfully and eat sinfully, then these miseries will continue. Otherwise, you c...
an nullify your sinful reactions by surrendering to Kṛṣṇa, as He states in the Bhagavad-gītā (18.66): "Just give up all your so-called religious practices and surrender unto Me. I shall protect you from all your sinful reactions." Part of surrendering to Kṛṣṇa is being careful not to eat anything that has not been offered to Him. That should be our determination. Even if we have committed some sin, by eating prasādam, food offered to Kṛṣṇa, we will counteract it. If we surrender to Kṛṣṇa in this way, He will protect us from sinful reactions. That is His promise.”
[Laws of Nature: An Infallible Justice 1: God and The Law of Karma - Breaking the Bonds of Karma - excerpt]
But if one commits sins on the strenght that I take prasadam that is a great mistake  just like that 7th offence to the holy name:
7th  Offense to the holy name:
Vigilance  is required in the namabhasa stageœ
SYNONYMS
krsna-nama -- the holy name of Lord Krsna; kare -- takes; aparadhera -- of offenses; vicara -- consideration; krsna -- Lord Krsna; balile -- if one chants; aparadhira -- of the offenders; na -- never; haya -- becomes; vikara -- changed.
There are offenses to be considered while chanting the Hare Krsna mantra. Therefore simply by chanting Hare Krsna one does not become ecstatic.
PURPORT
It is very beneficial to chant the names sri-krsna-caitanya prabhu-nityananda before chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra because by chanting these two holy names -- sri-krsna-caitanya prabhu-nityananda -- one immediately becomes ecstatic, and if he then chants the Hare Krsna maha-mantra he becomes free of offenses.
There are ten offenses to avoid in chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra. The first offense is to blaspheme great personalities who are engaged in distributing the holy name of the Lord. It is said in the sastra (Cc. Antya 7.11), krsna-saktivinanahetarapravartana: one cannot distribute the holy names of the HareKrsnamaha-mantra unless he is empowered by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. There...
Sri Padma Purana states:
yatah khyatim yatam katham u sahate tad-vigarham
To blaspheme the great saintly persons who are engaged in preaching the glories of the Hare Krsna maha-mantra is the worst offense at the lotus feet of the holy name. One should not criticize a preacher of the glories of the Hare Krsna maha-mantra. If one does so, he is an offender. The Nama-prabhu, who is identical with Krsna, will never tolerate such blasphemous activities, even from one who passes as a great devotee.
The second namaparadha is described as follows:
sivasya sri-visnor ya iha guna-namadi-sakalam
In this material world, the holy name of Visnu is all-auspicious. Visnu's name, form, qualities and pastimes are all transcendental, absolute knowledge. Therefore, if one tries to separate the Absolute Personality of Godhead from His holy name or His transcendental form, qualities and pastimes, thinking them to be material, that is offensive. Similarly, to think that the names of demigods such as Lord Siva are as good as the name of Lord Visnu -- or, in other words, to think that Lord Siva and the other demigods are other forms of God and therefore to Visnu -- is also blasphemous. This is the second offense at the lotus feet of the holy name of theLord.
The third offense at the lotus feet of the holy name, which is called guror avajna, is to consider the spiritual master to be material and therefore to envy his exalted position. The fourth offense (sruti-sastra-nindanam) is to blaspheme Vedic literatures such as the four Vedas and the Puranas. The fifth offense (artha-vadah) is to consider the glories of the holy name to be exaggerations. Similarly, the sixth offense (hari-namni kalpanam) is to consider the holy name of the Lord to be imaginary.
The seventh offense is described as follows:
namno balad yasya hi papa-buddhir
To think that since the Hare Krsna mantra can counteract all sinful reactions one may therefore go on with his sinful activities and at the same time chant the Hare Krsna mantra to neutralize them is the greatest offense at the lotus feet of hari-nama.
The eighth offense is stated thus:
It is offensive to consider the chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra to be a religious ritualistic ceremony. Performing religious ceremonies, following vows and practicing renunciation and sacrifice are all materialistic auspicious activities. The chanting of the Hare Krsna maha-mantra must not be compared to such materialistic religiosity. This is an offense at the lotus feet of the holy name of the Lord.
The ninth offense is described as follows:
asraddadhane vimukhe 'py asrnvati
yas copadesah siva-namaparadhah
It is an offense to preach the glories of the holy name among persons who have no intelligence or no faith in the subject matter. Such people should be given the chance to hear the chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra, but in the beginning they should not be instructed about the glories or the spiritual significance of the holy name. By constant hearing of the holy name, their hearts will be purified, and then they will be able to understand the transcendental position of the holy name.
The tenth offense is as follows:
aham-mamadi-paramo namni so 'py aparadha-krt
If one has heard the glories of the transcendental holy name of the Lord but nevertheless continues in a materialistic concept of life, thinking "I am this body and everything belonging to this body is mine [aham mameti SB 5.5.8]," and does not show respect and love for the chanting of the Hare Krsna maha-mantra, that is an offense.

Yesterday I talked to some young devotees that was smoking weed ,and one was selling it ,or maybe stopped selling it, another one doing perscription drugs fighting with the boyfriend and the boyfriend with the girlfriend. All are not married but part of a ISKCON temple
congregation .
The four regulative principles
Spiritual life rests on values of honesty, cleanliness, compassion and austerity (discipline). Although anyone can chant Hare Krishna and participate in devotional activities if he is serious about making tangible progress in Krishna consciousness, he will additionally follow the four regulative principles. All initiated devotees of ISKCON take a vow to follow these principles.
1. No gambling: Gambling (even buying lottery ) shows that one is dissatisfied with the results that come naturally from his daily work. A devotee should be peaceful, satisfied and dependent on what the Lord provides for him. Gambling is also associated with lying, cheating and ever increasing greed.
2. No intoxicants: People usually turn to intoxicants because they cannot face the austerities of life. But these austerities are the reality of the material world and keep the one on the spiritual path sober and clear-minded. Intoxicants cloud the mind and over-stimulate the senses. Intoxicants include drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and stimulants containing caffeine, such as coffee and tea. They destroy the discipline needed to practice devotional service.
3. No meat eating: Devotees follow a strictly vegetarian and do not eat meat, fish, eggs or any of their derivatives. Nature provides enough variety of to keep a person fit and healthy. Violence against animals is not required.
4. No illicit sex: Illicit sex life destroys the principle of cleanliness, both of the body and the mind. Spiritual life requires control of the mind and senses and therefore one who is serious about advancement controls his senses even within marriage.

Chant Minimum 16 Rounds

Indian man: Prabhupāda, when we do our chanting, the chanting beads contain 108 beads. Why is this, and why do we chant sixteen rounds?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: Not sixteen rounds. You can chant unlimitedly.
Indian man: No, minimum
Śrīla Prabhupāda: Minimum because they cannot chant more than that, therefore minimum. Otherwise kīrtanīya sadā hari [Cc. Ādi 17.31]. So you must have a fixed amount of kīrtana. That is called tapasya, that “We must finish at least this much, if not more.” Sakhyā-purvaka-nāma-gāna-natibhi. Sakhyā-purvaka. By numerical strength one should chant. That is called vow. This is the idea. So these Europeans, Americans, they cannot imitate Haridāsa Ṭhākura, who was chanting 300,000 times. So we do not advise to imitate. Really do something. One name is sufficient. If you can chant one name only, that is sufficient, but that is not possible. So to understand the value of name at least we must have some numerical strength. All the Gosvāmīs used to do that. We follow their footprints. Thank you.
Now chant Hare Kṛṣṇa.
Devotees: All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. (end)
Bhagavad-gītā class Nairobi Oct. 28, 1975
One of the mistakes ISKCON is doing is not to encourage devotees to chant more than 16 rounds as Srila Prabhupada stated minimum 16.I once had a dream of Srila Prabhupada, where he told me: " If you knew how many devotees do not chant even 16 rounds you would faint and die" .
Today I wrote on facebook:
all you new devotees stop doing drugs, selling them , using them etc please I beg you all
It is minimum 16 rounds and minimum 4 regulative principles..it does not matter if you are a new devotee or an ISKCON sannyasi.
