Maya will tell us why should you not chant 64 rounds that is to much..your mind will not be abel to enjoy material nature...well that is great that is what KC is all about.
The 10 Canto has the story of Vrkasura trying to touch Lord Sivas head after getting the benediction from Lord Siva that whoever he touched would be killed,Krsna appeared as a small brahmacari (our dandavat obaisences to Him): "Sir why are you running so fast slow down ..after all you are this body1...and so on He fooled that asura by His yogamaya.Similarly Mahamaya is telling us why try so hard, why be so strict give in
to your senses, do never ever go on Harinama and sankirtana and other preaching (because by doing so Kalis influence is finished).Mayas business is to constantly fool us not to surrender to Krishna, we should not listen to her..my dear Mahamaya kindly leave me alone with your foolish tests to bewilder me into repeadet birth and death, I have no time for you.But kindly tranform yourself into Yogamaya and help me serve Sri Krsna and Srila Prabhupada in the Sankirtana mission.Maya will say :Life is about position..get a spiritual position, become a Guru ,sannyasi and GBC and TP then you can enjoy nicely.We just heard one GBC express
last night about that it might be wrong for him to have this kind of Demigod like enjoying spirit.Srila Prabhupada said many of my disciples wants to be demigods(looking for power and position and prestige) .Srila Prabhupada said i want to create vaisnava heroes not this sitting down class (that will comfort and not preach).Yes someone may become a demigod like Indra and Vrtasura..who was superior? It is Vrtasura
though in a socalled demons body he was a fully pure devotee..Srimad Bhagavatam is often glorified in the Puranas as having the glorious pastime of Vrtasuras devotion.This said all glories to all the demigods and the GBC, and may they all bless us.But we should look for service to Krsna, pure devotional service, Jayananda and Visnujana are remembered more than any devotee, because they had some pure devotion.We are not looking for position those who look and get may get this position but not Krsna.
With postion often comes pride.But being a leader is good ,if that leader inspires greatness in others.
Lord Caitanya prayed Na dhanam na janam..we should not pray the opposite.As Devamrta Swami quoted last night , mechantile relationship with Krsna..that is cheating religion .Be a leader but push on this KC movement ,do not comfort.
