disapperance day of Akincana Krsna das Babaji

Dandavat pranams to the readers of this glorification of Krsna das Babaji
all glories to the lotusfeet of my Gurudeva and my Lord Gauranga
All glories to Srila Prabhupada

Krsna das Babaji was also known as Akincana because he had no material attachments to this material world

Srila Prabhupada has described a devotee who is Akincana Gocara in many lectures and his purports :

Akiñcana-gocara. That real God can be realized by a person who is humble and meek. Amānitvam adambhitvam. Go on. "Kṛṣṇa consciousness. The other nineteen items automatically develop." Yasyāsti bhaktir-bhagavaty akiñcanāḥ sarvair guṇair tatra samāsate surāḥ. Automatically.
Lecture on BG 13.8-12 -- Bombay, October 2, 1973:
Pradyumna: "So if one does not approach or is not able to approach the transcendental service of the Lord, then the other nineteen items are of no particular value. But if one takes to devotional service in full Kṛṣṇa consciousness, the other nineteen items automatically develop within him."
Prabhupāda: Yes. This is the central point. Yasyāsti bhaktir bhagavaty akiñcanāḥ sarvair guṇair tatra samāsate surāḥ. All the qualities of the demigods, sura... Sura and asura. Sura means demigods or gods, and asura means demons. So if one becomes devotee of Kṛṣṇa... Yasyāsti bhaktir bhagavaty akiñcanāḥ. Akiñcana. Pridelessness. Akiñcana. Kṛṣṇa's another name is Akiñcana-gocara. He can be understood by akiñcana, one who thinks himself as very humble, meek. That is also said in the Bible, that one has to become meek and humble. Then he can understand. And that is also Kṛṣṇa demanding, that "First surrender. Become humble and meek." This is the verdict of all Vedic śāstras.

Jñāne prayāsam udapasya namanta eva san-mukhāritaṁ bhavadīya-vartam. This is the statement of Brahmā, that one should give up the nonsense process of mental speculation, "God may be like this; God may be like that." No. God is not manufactured by your mental speculation. God is God always, Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa is God from the childhood. When He was three months old He demonstrated His godly powers. He immediately killed Sakaṭāsura. He immediately killed Putanā. So He did not become God by meditation, manufactured in some mystic factory. God is God. God is always God. Even when He is child, when He is young man, when He is a boy. Kṛṣṇa, when He was a boy of seven years old, He lifted the Govardhana Hill. That is God. Not that "Here is a man. By mystic power He has become God." No. That God is different God. Real God is always God.

So akiñcana-gocara. Yasmin vijñāte sarvam etaṁ vijñātaṁ bhavanti. This is the Vedic assertion. If you simply understand one, that Kṛṣṇa, then you understand everything. Just like in Bhagavad-gītā. If you try to understand Kṛṣṇa, you get all the knowledge—material, spiritual, everything. Practically. Yasmin vijñāte sarvam idaṁ vijñātaṁ bhavanti. Go on.

Akiñcana means "one who possesses nothing in this world."
CC Adi 10.66, Translation and Purport: Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu gave Vijaya dāsa the name Ratnabāhu ("jewel-handed") because he copied many manuscripts for Him. The twenty-eighth branch was Kṛṣṇadāsa, who was very dear to the Lord. He was known as Akiñcana Kṛṣṇadāsa.
Akiñcana means "one who possesses nothing in this world."

Srimad-Bhagavatam
SB Canto 1
Akiñcana means one who has nothing to give materially. A factual devotee, or mahātmā, does not give anything material to anyone because he has already left all material assets.
SB 1.8.27, Purport: A living being is finished as soon as there is nothing to possess. Therefore a living being cannot be, in the real sense of the term, a renouncer. A living being renounces something for gaining something more valuable. A student sacrifices his childish proclivities to gain better education. A servant gives up his job for a better job. Similarly, a devotee renounces the material world not for nothing but for something tangible in spiritual value. Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī, Sanātana Gosvāmī and Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī and others gave up their worldly pomp and prosperity for the sake of the service of the Lord. They were big men in the worldly sense. The Gosvāmīs were ministers in the government service of Bengal, and Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī was the son of a big zamindar of his time. But they left everything to gain something superior to what they previously possessed. The devotees are generally without material prosperity, but they have a very secret treasure-house in the lotus feet of the Lord. There is a nice story about Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī. He had a touchstone with him, and this stone was left in a pile of refuse. A needy man took it, but later on wondered why the valuable stone was kept in such a neglected place. He therefore asked him for the most valuable thing, and then he was given the holy name of the Lord. Akiñcana means one who has nothing to give materially. A factual devotee, or mahātmā, does not give anything material to anyone because he has already left all material assets. He can, however, deliver the supreme asset, namely the Personality of Godhead, because He is the only property of a factual devotee. The touchstone of Sanātana Gosvāmī, which was thrown in the rubbish, was not the property of the Gosvāmī, otherwise it would not have been kept in such a place. This specific example is given for the neophyte devotees just to convince them that material hankerings and spiritual advancement go ill together. Unless one is able to see everything as spiritual in relation with the Supreme Lord, one must always distinguish between spirit and matter. A spiritual master like Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī, although personally able to see everything as spiritual, set this example for us only because we have no such spiritual vision.

Krsna das Babaji is mentioned in Prabhupada Lilamrta also because at Srila Prabhupadas sannyasa initiation Krsna das Babaji chanted the Mahamantra very sweetly and Srila Prabhupada considered his sannyasa initiation perfect due to also the chanting of Krsna das Babaji .He lived some time at Pavana Sarovara in Nandagrama where you will also find the Samadhi of Krsna das Babaji.Srila Sanatana Goswami also had a Bhajan Kutir at Pavana Sarovara.
Krsna das Babaji realized his Nitya Deha spiritual body and was daily chanting 120 plus rounds of the Hare Krsna Mahamantra..he realized that he was a cowherd boy in Vrindavana .His mood was Priya Sakha those are cowhed boys that engage with Krsna in cow herding

Our Srila Prabhupada is also a Priya Sakha ,he told this to mother Govinda when she was his secretary I believe in 1968 and Srila Prabhupada told her that in Goloka Vrindavana I serve Krsna Balarama as a cowherd boy and my Guru Maharaja is a manjari. This was Srila Prahbupadas direct answer to her question who Srila Prabhupada was in Krsna Lila.

What do the Priya Sakhas do ? It is explained by Srila Rupa Goswami in Bhakti Rasamrta Sindhu:

Verse 3.3.92

: Part 3 - Fraternal Devotion (sakhya-rasa)

Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation:

निर्जिती-करणं युद्धे वस्त्रे धृत्वास्य कर्षणम् ।
पुष्पाद्याच्छेदनं हस्तात् कृष्णेन स्व-प्रसाधनम् ।
हस्ताहस्ति-प्रसङ्गाद्याः प्रोक्ताः प्रिय-सख-क्रियाः ॥३.३.९२॥

nirjitī-karaṇaṃ yuddhe vastre dhṛtvāsya karṣaṇam |
puṣpādyācchedanaṃ hastāt kṛṣṇena sva-prasādhanam |
hastāhasti-prasaṅgādyāḥ proktāḥ priya-sakha-kriyāḥ ||3.3.92||

English translation
“Defeating Kṛṣṇa in battle, pulling His cloth, stealing flowers and other things from His hand, being decorated by Kṛṣṇa and hand-to-hand combat are the activities of the priya-sakhas (friends of equal age to Kṛṣṇa).”

Verse 3.3.39

Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation:

English translation
Their friendship:
“One priya-sakha jokes using puns in a choked voice. Another embraces Kṛṣṇa with arms full of goosebumps. Another sneaks up behind Kṛṣṇa and covers His eyes with his quick hands. O thin-waisted woman! In this way the priya-sakhas give pleasure to Your friend Kṛṣṇa.”

Verse 3.3.37

atha priya-sakhāḥ —
vayas-tulyāḥ priya-sakhā sakhyaṃ kevalam āśritāḥ |

kiṅkiṇi-stokakṛṣṇāṃśu-bhadrasena-vilāsinaḥ |
puṇḍarīka-viṭaṅkākṣa-kalabiṅkādayo’py amī ||3.3.37||

Priya-sakhas:
“Those who are the same age as Kṛṣṇa, with only pure sakhya-rati, are called priya-sakhyas. Śrīdāma, Sudāma, Dāma, Vasudāma, Kiṅkiṇi, Stokakṛṣṇa, Aṃṣu, Bhadrasena, Vilāsī, Puṇḍarīka, Viṭaṅka and Kalabiṇka are priya- sakhas.”

Srila Prabhupada wrote on Jaladutta :

O dear friend, in Your company I will experience great joy once again. In the early morning I will wander about the cowherd pastures and fields. Running and frolicking in the many forests of Vraja, I will roll on the ground in spiritual ecstacy. O when will that day be mine?

Today that remembrance of You came to me in a very nice way. Because I have a great longing I called to You. I am Your eternal servant and therefore I desire Your association so much. O Lord Krsna, except for You there is no other means of success.

yes given Srila Prabhupada also wrote:
I emphatically say to you, O brothers, you will obtain your good fortune from the Supreme Lord Krsna only when Srimati Radharani becomes pleased with you.
He is addressing Krsna as Sakha-dear Cowherd boy and Bhai :brother
the whole mood is sakha and priya narma Sakha because Srila Prabhupada always took shelter of Srimati Radharani ,the priya Sakhas only take shelter of Krsna ,so in my humble opinion Srila Prabhupada was a Priya Narma Sakha, Priya Narma Sakhas are also involved in Krsnas pastimes with hte Gopis,,but since Srila Prabhupada himself did not reveal such details we can surely say either a Priya Sakha or Priya Narma Sakha I have also discussed Srila Prabhupadas Sthiya Bhava in my book Vaisnava Amrta

The singing of Krsna Das Babaji is very beautiful and you can find his recodings on youtube ,he would sing many prayers to Krsna Balarama .
It was considered very auspiscious in Gaudiya math if Krsna das Babaji was present while someone left his body , Krsna das Babaji was also present when Srila Prabhupada left his body in 1977.Srila Sridhara Swami one time said , I also pray Krsna Das Babaji will be there chanting Hare Krsna when I leave this body .

So on this disappereance day of Krsna das Babaji ,we should pray for his mercy to become eager chanters of the Mahamantra like him and always chant Japa in love for Krsna Balarama .So is was yesterday but we can pray for his mercy even daily .
