Comfort power and position ! It is not the goal Bhakti is !
In 1985 I was on Padayatra in South India ,chanting Hare Krsna in Kirtana all day and distributing Srila Prahbupadas books and walking 20 to 35 KM daily sometimes more in the heat .Lokanath Maharaja had to go for few days in Mayapure in July for some GBC meeting ,when he came back he told me this ,I met your Guru Harikesa Swami , he was complaining how hot it was in Mayapure/Kolkotta .I told him , you are not doing any tapasya in India, your disciple Payonidhi Prabhu is he is walking daily in the sun and distributing Srila Prahbupadas books and inspiring others to do the same and he leads fired up Kirtanas from morning to evening ,South India is much warmer than here, you are are in the Ac and have servants .Lokanath Maharaja told me how he appriciated my austerities coming all the way from Denmark and doing this service, I was tearful , because I have to leave ISKCON Denmark due to offensive nasty politics ,and come on Pilgrimage , but I was thinking of Vidura ,who was also forced to leave by evil Duryodhana ,and was told told by evil Duryodhana that he was nto wanted. But Vidura was blessed he got to visit all of Indias holy places and I similarly had been blessed, I did not mind the service and austerity . NEVER ASPIRE FOR COMFORT ,POWER,INFLUENCE and Position is spiritual organizations .Our goal. is to serve Krsna and Srila Prabhupada, Lord Paramatma inspired me to share this part of my life ,so on the Lords direction I am posting this for others wellfare and a reminder. My dear Lord Gauranga allowed me to visit the places He visited in South India for His 500 centeninal of His appereance and this was true benediction : gaura amara, ye saba sthane,
karala bhramana range
se saba sthana, heriba ami,
pranayi-bhakata-sange [3]
gaura–Gaurasundar; amara–my; ye–which; saba–all; sthane–in the places; karala–did; bhramana–tour; range (lilaya)–during Pastimes; se–those; saba–all; sthana–places; heriba–will behold ami–I; pranayi–loving; bhakata–of devotees; sange–in the company. [3]
(3) In the company of loving devotees, I behold all the places my Gaurasundar visited during His Pastimes.
Some of the places are mentioned in Caitanya Caritamrta so what ever places visited the Padayatra tried to reach all of them

I recall one place Lord Caitanya had visited 7 temples in Kerala , but all temples of Visnu were in ruins ,but I decieded if the Padayatra would not visit these 7 temples I will go see them and so I did , there I met on South Indian Sri Vaisnava Brahmin that gave me the Narasimha Gayatri Mantra that I chant every day since 1985 along with my other Gayatri mantras
