Srila Jagananth das Babaji used to say before you sleep every night your must have completed 120 rounds of the Mahamantra if not then minimum 64 rounds as ordered by Lord Gauranga

When Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada said to beat the mind with a shoe and broomstick he meant to always chant Hare Krsna, thus he ordered minimum chanting 64 rounds daily in Gaudiya math ,if we want to become true followers of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya we must also chant one lahk 64 rounds daily gauranga shrimukhe rupe kahila vaishnave;
laksha nama sankhya kari avasya karibe.
"Lord Gauranga gave the following instructions to all the Vaishnavas Himself and also through Shrila Rupa Goswami: Please compulsorily chant 100,000 names of Krishna daily
