if you read my Gurudevas lecture about Guru Purnima you will see he mentiones a list of 54 Puranas ,because there is 18 Maha Puranas , 18 Upa Puranas as explained in Srimad Bhagavatam 12th Canto , but there is more there is other Upa Puranas ,so the list comes to around 54 and sometimes it is stated 64 all written by Srila Vyasadeva :
