the fight between Dronacarya and King Drupada ,they where godbrothers !
In Mahabharata King Drupada treated Dronacarya with such disrespect , simply because he asked for one cow , so he could feed his family ,.Later however Dronacarya send the Pandavas to capture Drupada and destroy his army ,they did ,you properly know how Drupada did tapasya and had Drupadi and Dhristaduymna as his children.King Drupada was killed by Dhronacarya on the battle of Kuruksetra though they used to be childhood friends in their Gurus asrama .I guess it shows how enmity between Godbrother can be deadly .They where both disciples of the exalted sage Bharadwaja , and Drupada has promised half his kingdom to Dronacarya, a promise he did not keep and would not even give him a cow .So when the disciples the five Pandavas ,defeated Drupadas army only the 5 of them he was impressed by the Pandavas ,later Draupadi married all 5 Pandavas .You properly know this pastime So one the 15th day of the battle of Kuruksetra Dronacarya killed the king of Virat and the Kind Drupada, Later when Yuddhistira lied that Asvatthama was dead (actually he said the elephant )but due ot Krsnas conschell blowing he only heard Asvatthama he sat down in meditation and gave up all his weapons in mourning meditating on Lord Visnu .Dhrstadyumna remembering his fathers death and enmity with his godbrother Dronacarya beheaded him.At the end of the Mahabharata war however Asvatthama empowered by Lord Siva killed the sleeping sons on the Pandavas (thinking them the Pandavas and the the whole remaining Army of the Pandavas at night ) assisted by Krpacarya and Krtavarma. Asvatthama was chased by the Pandavas as we read in Srimad Bhagavatam and threw the Brahmastra and Arjuna counteracted it and the Pandavas cut out the jewel of Asvatthamas forhead and he was cursed by Krsna to live in exile for thousands of years and wander the earth and suffer in the age of Kali .He threw another Brahmastra that attacked Pariksit in the womb of Uttara, but Krsna saved Pariksit Maharaja in the womb ,these are some of the amazing pastimes in Mahabharata that is considered the 5th Veda in Kali yuga and more essential than the other 4 Vedas for the general population .
