By the influence of Sri Yoga Maya , Parasurama could not understand who Lord Ramachandra was from the get go.He was bewildered and was thinking who is the Ramachandra who broke this bow of Lord Siva? Parasurama said I will surely kill whoever has broken the bow of Lord Siva.Sri Laxmana got furious after all He is an expansion of powerful Lord Balarama and ready to serve Sri Ramachandra ,He could no longer tolerate the offenses made to Lord Rama, and said I know what kind of great warrior Brahmin you are , you once killed your own mother on the order of your father.Of course she was revived with no memory thereof but Sri Laxmana was not amused.We brothers have broken bows since we were little kids, how come only you make some fuss over and old bow? When Parasurama again stated He would battle Lord Ramachandra and kill Him for braking Lord Sivas bow.Laxmana had enough ,he was about to pull out arrows and battle Parasurama right there.But Lord Ramachandra stopped Him.He apologized that Laxmana was so furious , and said I am the little Rama but you are the great Parasurama, only by your mercy have I broken the bow of Lord Siva ,I am surely your servant ,Lord Parasurama pulled out the bow of Lord Visnu and said if you are so great string the bow of Lord Visnu.This bow was given to me by Lord Siva when he killed Tripurasura and that bow was given to him by Lord Visnu I used it to kill the Kstatriyas also .Lord Ramachandra strung the bow with the arrow of Lord Visnu also..where should I aim this arrow? This time all of a sudden Yoga Maya lifted her curtain and for the first time by dint of Divine vision Parasurama saw who Lord Ramachandra really was.Lord Ramachandra said I am a kstariya and our code is to protect Brahmins and women, children and old men and cows.You are also related to Visvamitra who is my Guru so I will not kill you plus you are a Brahmin and the great soul Lord Parasurama.Parasurama said aim the arrow to the North and shoot it there and destroy all my pious punya (so he did not have to go to enjoy heavenly pleasures as result of his karma) ,He told everyone that indeed you are Lord Visnu incarnated to destroy the demons and protect religion.That time the Visnu sakti that had been invested into Lord Parasuramas body emerged and entered Lord Ramachandra .Ignorant persons believe that Bhagavad Gita 10.34 referes more to Lord Parasurama than Lord Ramachandra.My question is who is the more powerful warrior Lord Ramachandra or Parasurama? Thus Srila Prabhupada correctly taught us in his Bhagavad Gita as it is that this verse refers to Lord Ramachandra .Later in Kali Yuga Sri Laxmana again appeared on earth as Sri Ramanujacarya .Rama anuja means the younger brother of Lord Ramachandra, all glories to the wonderful pastimes of Sri Ramachandra Bhagavan. In Laghu Bhagavatamrta Srila Rupa Goswami has explained in Lord Krsna ,Lord Ramachandra and Lord Narasimha the fill potency of Godhead was manifest.Jaya Sri Rama, Jaya Sri Laxmana, jaya Sri Parasurama for playing this role in Lord Ramachandra divine pastime .Garga Samhita states in 1 canto chapter 6 that Parasurama later gave that same bow to Kamsa, who was so powerful he could string the bow 100 times. Lord Parasurama told Kamsa , you worm in Baby stool , be lucky if I do not kill you , whoever strings this bow will surely kill you.So the day Sri Krsna entered Mathura ,He broke this bow and the sounds was so thunderous that Kamsa and eveeryone else could hear it.Then Kamsa knew soon I will be killed by Krsna.Why was Kamsa such a powerful demon ? That you have to study about in Garga Samhita, chant 1 chapter 6.He previously was Kalanemi and kill by Lord Visnu as described in the 8th Canto ..he did Tapasya and became covered in an anthill all body eaten up like Hiranykasipy in Satya Yuga, and asked that no humans or early beings could kill him in other words only Lord Krsna could kill Kamsa...I hope you enjoyed hearing these heroic pastimes of Lord Sri Krsna and Lord Ramachandra.Krsna manifests 3 heroic personalities in His own character as explained by Srila Rupa Goswami in Bhakti Rasamrta Sindhu, Dhira Dhatta, Dhira Lalita and Dhira Prasanta,, your can read about it in Srila Prabhupadas Nectar of Devotion also '
