Why am I eating sweets even if they are Mahaprasadam?

I noticed when I go to the temple I have a tendency to also accept Mahasweets, it is a flaw in my character. Why should I accept mahasweets? Lord Caitanya showed us by His divine example to mainly only accept vegetables and rice, there is so many examples in the CC, CB etc.He did not tell other devotees not to take, but His example was such.If I am not tasting how Krsna has accepted this prasadam, and the love of God one is supposed to taste while taking prasadam, why will I take palatabel… Continue

Does Lord Narasimha scare away Srimati Radharani?

One Gaudiya math sannyasi has stated that to much worship of Lord Narasimha is not favorabel to Vraja Bhakti, and the worship of Ugra Narasimha scares away Sri Radha.

In his Manah Siksa ,Srila Raghunath das Goswami writes:

TEXT 4

questions from a sannyasi and my answers

Dear Payonidhi Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All gories to you and your seva to Srila Prabhupada.

I understand from your statement that Kusakrata Prabhu authored Sri Narasimha Palana Prarthana, not that he translated it into English, correct?

The second inquiry I was going to make is, do you have any relevant quote or statement from Srila Prabhupada regarding married ladies in ISKCON working or not? And what about those ladies who… Continue

make into some books.Saturday is the day of Sanideva, Saturn personified, who is a great devotee of Lord Narasimha .For the pleasure of Prahlada Maharaja, Sri…

questions about chanting 64 rounds

Dear Payonidhi das,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prahbupada.

Thank you for your submission. Before we publish it, I have a few questions for you, and I"m hoping you can give me just simple, brief answers. (I have read all your articles on this topic.)

1. Do you disagree that Srila Prabhupada instructed his disciples to chant 16 rounds?

2. Can you show us where Srila Prabhupada qualified that instruction by saying "only chant 16… Continue

What you (we) can preach! part 2

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada and Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura restarted the sankirtana movement in modern times ,and Srila Prabhupada took their mercy and spread it all over the world.

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada sat down and was chanting for some years, day and night. The Panca tattva came to him and told him to now go and preach.

He was preaching to chant Hare Krsna as ones formost duty, many wonderfull lectures and books are written in glorification of Srila Bhaktisidhanta… Continue

What you can preach?

Some devotees think this chanting of 64 rounds is some fanatic behavior ,this is because they are fanatic about staying in mayadevis world (Devi dham) .Without chanting 64 rounds noone can get out of maya..why? Because Lord Caitanya ordered it.Did He do so in a strong way:Sarva dharman paritejya ,like Krsna?

No He did not He is Krsna Himself, He simply indicadet I will not accept offerings in your house unless you chant 64 rounds.Still you do not accept this? Why you want Lord Caitanya to… Continue

Japa ,24 hours kirtana and preaching

There has been some discussion here now for a while about chanting japa and kirtana.I have a question about 24 hours kirtana. Srila Prabhupada asked for 24 hours kirtana in Vrindavana when he was preparing to go back to Krsna. But I have never understood the need to continue the 24 hours kirtana program? I apologize for my ignorance. Why not make it 18 only ? Or 15 hours a day? Because some devotees will then miss the morning programs, mongal artik, Guru puja and Srimad Bhagavatam class and… Continue

The jivas fall from Jaiva Dharma and Srila Prabhupada

The unlimited arguments about how the jiva fell, is added by another twist, because Srila Prabhupada sometimes stated when the Jiva falls he first take the post of Brahma. Some have different views of this..how is it possible? Srila Prabhupada stood his ground and said why is is not possible, what is not possible for Krsna.

Pk Vidyavan mentioned the 16 chapter of Jaiva dharma, what he quoted is but a part of this chapter, the details there needs to be carefully studied, as the fall…
